DIANNY PRESENTS: Obama’s August 8 Weekly Address

And here you all thought Obama would skip this week since he’s enjoying his “much-needed” vacation from destroying our country.

That’s where the magic of “pre-recording” comes in handy!

This week, Obama’s commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.

Reaffirming Our Commitment to Protecting the Right to Vote

Hi, everybody.

Listen, I gotta make this fast. I have a chopper to catch to get to Martha’s Vineyard. There’s a golf bag with my name on it waiting on board and I don’t want to drag this out.

The right to vote is one of the most fundamental rights of any democracy.

Of course the United States isn’t a democracy. It’s a Republic. But, really, it isn’t even that anymore is it?

Yet for too long, too many of our fellow citizens were denied that right, simply because of the color of their skin.

Thanks to the Democrat Party!

Fifty years ago this week, President Lyndon Johnson signed a law to change that.

Roundly supported by Republicans and despised by Democrats, but just pretend that isn’t the case.

The Voting Rights Act broke down legal barriers that stood between millions of African Americans and their constitutional right to cast ballot. It was, and still is, one of the greatest victories in our country’s struggle for civil rights.

And, as Lyndon Johnson once wisely said, would keep the Ni**ers voting Democrat for a hundred years!

But it didn’t happen overnight. Countless men and women marched and organized, sat in and stood up, for our most basic rights. For this they were called agitators and un-American, they were jailed and beaten.

Jailed and beaten on orders of Democrat officials, but again, just ignore that.

Some were even killed.

Murdered by the military arm of the Democrat Party known as the Ku Klux Klan. Again, just move along.

But in the end, they reaffirmed the idea at the very heart of America: that people who love this country can change it.

Actually, the very heart of America is “all men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.” But since I ran on “Hope and Change” and want to “Fundamentally Transform” America, I have to justify my radicalism by pretending it’s part of America’s tradition.

Our country is a better place because of all those heroes did for us. But as one of those heroes, Congressman John Lewis, reminded us in Selma this past March, “There’s still work to be done.”

Because for Marxists, there is never an off button.

Fifty years after the Voting Rights Act, there are still too many barriers to vote, and too many people trying to erect new ones.

Barriers like, you have to be a citizen. What’s that about?! And erecting new ones like “you have to be able to prove you can legally vote.” That’s just crazy!

We’ve seen laws that roll back early voting…

And all the wonderful fraud that comes with it!

…force people to jump through hoops to cast a ballot…

Again, like proving they are who they say they are.

…or lead to legitimate voters being improperly purged from the rolls.

Legitimate Voters = Dead Democrats

Over the years, we have seen provisions specifically designed to make it harder for some of our fellow citizens to vote.

And by fellow citizens, I mean those illegal aliens who are as American as you and I.

In a democracy like ours…

not a Democracy.

…with a history like ours, that’s a disgrace.

Because we want to keep the illegals voting Democrat for the next century just like LBJ wanted to make sure the Ni**ers voted Democrat for the next century!

That’s why, as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, I’m calling on Congress to pass new legislation to make sure every American has equal access to the polls.

And by “every American,” I mean, illegals, felons, people under the age of 18, the dead, and the people who were unfairly imprisoned for voting four or five times in 2012, plus the people who voted in the state where they used to live, then voted again in the state they currently live.

It’s why I support the organizers getting folks registered in their communities.

Organizers. Communities. You know. Like Community Organizers. Because I know they won’t do anything stupid like making sure the person they are registering can actually legally vote.

And it’s why, no matter what party you support, my message to every American is simple: get out there and vote – not just every four years, but every chance you get.

And as many times as you can. And from as many precincts as you can. And from as many states as you can. Even if you have to sneak across our border and find the nearest polling place to do it!

Because your elected officials will only heed your voice if you make your voice heard.

Unless you voted Republican in the 2014 Midterms because you wanted me stopped. You, I’ll ignore. Oh, and if you’re a conservative with a Tea Party group. Then, you can bet your ass I’ll do everything I can to keep you from participating in the democratic process, and, for good measure, I’ll probably have the IRS make your life a living hell.

The promise that all of us are created equal is written into our founding documents – but it’s up to us to make that promise real.

Okay. It’s not a promise. It’s a fact. But I don’t like talking in facts. It throws off my entire equilibrium.

Together, let’s do what Americans have always done: let’s keep marching forward, keep perfecting our union, and keep building a better country for our kids.

By saddling them with debt, by completely destroying our economy and by throwing the borders wide open to foreign nationals who want to get on welfare and Islamic jihadists who want to kill us!

Thanks everybody. Have a great weekend.

You know I will! I’m going to be golfing my ass off for the next three weeks! Oh, and let’s not have anybody beheaded while I’m away. It totally messes with my game.

Speaking at the White House Thursday, on the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, President Barack Obama said that people do not take advantage of the lack of voter ID laws to cast fraudulent votes in other peoples’ names.

The president based his conclusion on government data on the number of people the government prosecutes for this crime.

“Sadly, too many states are making it harder for folks to vote–instituting photo ID laws that on the surface sound good,” said Obama.

“But I am certain, because we’ve actually looked at the data on this, that almost nobody wakes up saying, I’m going to go vote in somebody else’s name–doesn’t happen.”
