I doubt the Schiff Memo will ever be released

After President Trump sent the Schiff Memo back to the House for redactions, its namesake spent the weekend hard at work making the necessary changes to it so that it could be made public.

Just kidding.

Instead, Adam Schiff spent the weekend in California doing television appearances – including Real Time with Bill Maher.

Schiff Memo

And what does that tell you?  Well, I have a theory.

I think the Democrats have no intention of ever releasing the Schiff Memo.

Let’s be honest. The purpose of this Schiff Memo was not to become public information for all Americans to see.

Not at all.

Adam Schiff composed this memo – complete with classified sources and methods – for one reason: to put President Trump in the position of having to keep it classified.

And in that respect, the Schiff Memo has already served its purpose.

When you think about it, not making the necessary redactions and leaving it unreleased is more beneficial to the Democrat narrative than releasing it would be.

This way, since none of us will ever see it, the Democrats can describe it in any terms they want and we will never know if they’re being honest.

A tactic the idiotic Ted Lieu is already taking advantage of.

Democrats like Lieu can simply go on saying, “Nanny nanny boo boo! I read the memo. I know the tru-uth!”

And how would we ever know?

Yesterday on Fox News Devin Nunes called the Schiff Memo “ridiculous on the face of it.”

And if I have to choose whom to believe – Ted Lieu or Devin Nunes – I’m more inclined to believe Devin Nunes.

But see, that’s the genius of never making the redactions so the Schiff Memo can be released.

Adam Schiff can continue to go on television and rail against the President claiming Trump is the one preventing the public from seeing his memo.

Useful idiots like Ted Lieu can continue snottily claiming he knows all because he’s read this still-classified document.

And because the memo remains classified, we Americans will never know if idiots like Ted Lieu are telling the truth or lying like a two-bit hustler.

See how it works?

In addition to that, the Democrats are counting on the fact that Republicans, unlike the Democrats, don’t leak classified information to the press. Therefore, the Schiff Memo will remain hidden.

The only way it becomes public is if the Democrats on the Intelligence Committee actually sit down and make the necessary redactions.

And who sees them doing that when keeping it classified is giving them so much ammunition?

Right now it isn’t Donald Trump who is keeping the Schiff Memo from getting to the public.

It’s Adam Schiff.

And something tells me he has no plans to change the contents in order to get it declassified.

Why should he?

Schiff and the Democrats will get far more mileage out of keeping this memo classified and railing against the President for not releasing it.

Which is exactly why Adam Schiff spent the weekend in California doing television appearances complaining about President Trump “hiding” the memo’s contents — rather than in DC making the necessary redactions to get it released.

So long as they think keeping the memo hidden helps them regain the narrative, Schiff won’t lift a finger to make the redactions.

Now, this is all conjecture on my part.

But can’t help but wonder if I’m right.

Screw ’em! Trump should release it. Warts and all. They want to screw around? Then they can deal with the fallout.

And if that happened, Adam Schiff would be the one leading the accusation that Trump is reckless with classified information by releasing sources and methods that endanger national security. These people cast aside consistency years ago. And they have no qualms about being hypocrites. The media, of course, would parrot Schiff’s attacks. No. Releasing it anyway would accomplish nothing.

The process was supposed to be identical to the Nunes memo. First it was released to Congress as a whole. Then sent to the Executive branch to be declassified. So going by the same process, the Schiff memo would have been made available for any Congressman who wished to read it.

Did the Republican congressmen vote to send it to the President for his approval without the redactions they KNEW would be required? If so, they’re just as culpable as the commucrats.

Trump should just call a meeting with Schiff-ty, FBI and DOJ and invite the media. Then ask Schiff-ty if he would like to read aloud from his memo and see if the FBI and DOJ object. They seem to have had a great deal to say about the Nunes memo but are especially quiet now. I say, turn the cameras on and let it fly!! I’d bet Schiff-ty all of a sudden would forget how to read.
