Election Day: Now it is up to us

Election Day: Now it is up to us

Good morning everybody and happy Election Day 2020.

On this chilly election day morning, I have one request: ignore the press, the pundits, and the projections. And get out there and vote.

Many of you may have already voted before election day began. Here in NY, this was the first year we had early voting. But I’m a traditionalist. I like to get up early on election day and vote as soon as the polls open. Which is exactly what I did this morning.

My Mom and Dad did early voting last week. I considered it. But, like I said, I’m a traditionalist.

Throughout this 2020 election season, many of us have been discounted, ignored, and underestimated.

We haven’t been polled. We haven’t been considered.

But Election Day is the only poll that matters. So get out there and vote.

This election season we’ve had a lot of people shouting at us about what will happen and how it will happen.

Their anger and condescension was never reserved for just Donald Trump.

We’ve been attack, vilified, insulted and called every name in the book.

Media talking heads have slandered us and accused us of being Russian bots, white supremacists, Nazis, and ignorant rubes. They openly mock us and laughingly insult us. And they’ve been doing it for four years.

They want you dispirited.

They want you scared.

Well, I want us to be Happy Warriors.

Just like our Happy Warrior in Chief.

No matter how long you have to wait on line, vote!

Yes, the media has attacked us and insulted us.

But they’ve also underestimated us.

This election day is about American Greatness versus America’s Decline.

This election day is about Liberty versus Tyranny.

It’s about Jobs versus Mobs.

It’s about economic prosperity versus economic malaise.

And it’s about America First versus Trunalimunumaprzure.

It is up to us to carry the ball.

So vote.

Vote Trump.

Vote straight Republican.

Vote to Keep American Great.

And while you’re at it, go over to Townhall and read Kurt Schlichter’s Election Day bonus column “Zero Hour for America.”

Vote my friends. Because just as it was in 2016, We the People are the last surprise.

I was third in line at 6:00 this morning. I asked why I didn’t need to show a photo ID and got a laugh in return. My “polling place” is in a High School. How ironic. The place where they teach the little nippers to HATE the history of Amerika is where we exercise our sacred right to determine its future? As I walked out I said loudly to the folks in line: “CORRUPT OLD MEN WITH DEMENTIA DO NOT MAKE GOOD COMMANDERS IN CHIEF.” The reaction was underwhelming.

I voted at 0715 @ my local HS. I was with my wife and dog so I was silent. But I live in a city that is conservative = Ronny 80% in’84, GWB 41% in ‘oo = so had i said anything cheers would have erupted!

But high schools have been liberal indoctrination centers for 65 years! I spent many hrs in detention for pointing out my Communist teachers lied about Ike and Operation Wetback

Had at least 3 A’s made B as a result. Still was in top decile!

After an exhausting one minute wait, I finally got a ballot at 6:15.

It’s done. Doesn’t mean shit, this being Cook County and all, but it still felt good to stick my thumb in the eye of the Democrat machine once again.

Master gave Dobby sock. Dobby free elf now.

I voted straight Republican across the board.

My wife was second in what quickly became a long line at 5:25 am, I went around noon and walked out about 7 minutes later. Indiana requires a photo ID And the judge said traffic was steady all morning

I waited about 45 minutes. No problems, no harassment. Lots of Trump signs around the playground where I voted.

As the hours pass, my stomach is starting to get nervous.
