Elitist Condescension

Did you know that in Kentucky it is illegal for a wife to purchase a hat without first gaining her husband’s permission?

What I find astounding is there haven’t been calls for public officials to be jailed for refusing to enforce a properly enacted law of the state.

It’s the law for heaven’s sake. Hat sellers who are checking out a woman purchasing a hat without her husband’s permission should be calling the police.

Enforce the law!!

And if you will not enforce this law, then either quit your job or be jailed. It’s outrageous that any Kentucky public official would be so cavalier as to ignore the law!

[Note to clueless nitwits: this is called “pointing out the absurdity of a thing by being absurd.”]

What I find interesting about this mishegas in Kentucky is how quickly so many so-called “conservatives” are doing what squishy Republicans always do: head for the hills and join the condemnation so that they don’t get smeared by the “social conservatives.”

They’re like Peter, when confronted by a crowd after Jesus was arrested. They quickly deny, deny, deny. “Don’t associate me with that! I’m not like those people!”

[Note to clueless nitwits: I am not saying Kim Davis is like Jesus, so spare me the incredulous hyperbole.]

It’s the same elitist condescension that we saw on full display with the rise in popularity of Sarah Palin.

So called “conservatives” were embarrassed by her because she was a devout Christian, she had a lot of kids, she didn’t go to an Ivy League school, she won a beauty contest, and she had a funny accent.

And worse, those redneck crackers loved her!

Once the Left started mocking Palin for being who she is, these thin-skinned, so-called “conservatives” immediately distanced themselves from her and from all those redneck crackers who loved her.

[Note to clueless nitwits: I am not saying Kim Davis is the new Sarah Palin.]

Christian conservatives who are protesting the arrest of Kim Davis are not just being attacked by the Left. They’re being vilified by fellow so-called “conservatives.”

Is it any wonder the Left runs roughshod over us? We have this nasty habit of eating our own.

[Note to the clueless nitwits who are still reading this: I know Kim Davis is a Democrat. I am talking about so-called conservatives mocking and distancing themselves from the people who are protesting her being in jail.]

[Note to my intelligent readers who already understand all this. My apologies. But sometimes you have to deal with the morons who read into what you write rather than simply read what you write.]

There’s been elitist condescension dribbling out of every pore of the “If only we could get rid of the Christians” wing of the Republican Party for decades. These are the same people who were embarrassed by the rise of Jerry Falwell’s Moral Majority in the 1980s. Despite the fact that the Moral Majority helped to usher in the most conservative President since Calvin Coolidge.

The truth is, we don’t have to wait for the radical Left to eviscerate Kim Davis for her Christian conversion or her objection to gays marrying. Our fellow Republicans will do that for them.

They are so deeply afraid of being painted as religious kooks for standing up for our Constitutional right to religious liberty, they have joined in the verbal lynching of Davis.

Listen, Kim Davis isn’t a saint. I think she’d be the first person to acknowledge that.

But something tells me that these elitist snobs on our side would be more apt to rise in support of her had she been an ivy league educated county clerk from Massachusetts rather than a three-time divorced lady from the south.

Their problem is they don’t like the packaging of the person who is shining this light on the threat to religious liberty the SCOTUS’ completely extra-constitutional Obergefell ruling has created.

Ironically, many of these detractors were, just two months ago, arguing that Obergefell would open up a can of worms that would threaten state’s rights, our constitution, and the religious liberty of those opposed to gay marriage.

Now, they’re clucking their tongues, rolling their eyes, and demanding that Kim Davis do her job or quit. All the while ridiculing those who call for her release from jail.

“I support religious liberty, but Kim Davis is embarrassing.”

Like Obama and his famous “red lines,” these elitists came out strong, but, when the rubber the meets the road, they back down faster than you can say “judicial tyranny.”

What they fail to grasp is the outrage over the jailing of Kim Davis is justified.

It is justified because the Left does not give a damn about the rule of law. They use the law to get revenge on those who oppose them, not to mete out justice. This is why county clerks that issued marriage licenses to gays when it was not legal to do so didn’t get jailed. This is why city officials who violate immigration law — something that, sadly, results in the violent death of their own residents — have not spent one single second behind bars.

For the Left, this has nothing to do with upholding the law and everything to do with payback.

But listen to the Left justify Kim Davis being jailed. They talk about upholding the law, the responsibility of an elected official to represent every resident of a county. They wax arrogantly on about duty and responsibility as if they actually care about duty and responsibility.

Meanwhile, they are simply delighted that this woman is being treated like crap. It makes their day.

Just like when they got giddy with excitement when Rush Limbaugh was hospitalized with chest pains in December 2009.

Celebrating in the misfortune of someone with whom they disagree is the Left’s main form of entertainment. It’s why they angrily (and without any sense of irony) screamed “LOVE WINS!!!” at her as she was being led away to jail.

This is something, ironically enough, these so called elitist conservatives cannot grasp, but Madonna’s gay brother Christopher Ciccone completely understands.

Ciccone wrote on his Facebook page, “Once again, the gay community feels the need to be sore winners. Is it so difficult to allow this women her religion? Or must we destroy her in order for her to betray her faith. No matter how we judge, it’s truth. The rights we have all fought for, mean nothing, if we deny her hers.”

Ciconne gets it. These so-called “conservatives” who are joining in the pig pile on Kim Davis do not. They refuse to uphold the unalienable rights of Kim Davis because they don’t want to be smeared by the Left as being crazy religious nuts.

And, in the end, they are validating the hateful, vindictive Left.

The reason the Left has gained control of so much of our culture and society is because so many conservative “leaders” are nothing more than clay-footed warriors. They buckle and crumble at the first sign that they might be taking fire. Especially if the lightning rod is someone who embarrasses them.

This isn’t about Kim Davis.

This is about restoring our Constitutional system of government and our unalienable rights.

Are we unwilling to launch a counter-offensive against the Left’s systematic destruction of our Constitution simply because the particular battle features a woman who isn’t quite up to being the Rosa Parks of religious liberty?

Well, don’t worry you cowardly elitists.

Kim Davis won’t be the last Christian to find that her religious liberty means about as much to the Left as the life of a gay man means to ISIS.

If we’re lucky, the next case will involve someone these so-called “conservatives” won’t be too embarrassed to support.

Why isn’t Obama, Lois Learner, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and others in high places being jailed for breaking the laws?

In 2015 America jails Christians for their faith, when Government solemnly promised that wouldn’t happen.

And talk about hypocrisy, aren’t those Gay Parades really outdoor orgies and public nudity? I’m pretty sure that shit is against the law too, but what do I know I’m an ignorant redneck from the south.

First they broke the law with impunity, then they changed the law to fit their whim, now they are going to use the law for coercion.

Now moving ‘FORWARD!’ to next year, the fags can move on to feeding Christians to lions, like they did in Rome during the first century.

And maybe lion-food is why certain conservatives started sucking cock, but Rome still burnt.

BTW I’m not sure what a Christian is, and I’m not sure if God exists, also I’m not sure if the bible is truth or fable. But I sure as hell know what tyranny is, and Kim Davis is facing it for her beliefs.

The American pulpit should be outraged right about now, even if just to protect their tax exempt status because that is next on ye old chopping block.
