Even more Schadenfreude!

And the Schadenfreude just keeps on a-comin’!

For weeks now, Leftists have been issuing portends of gloom and doom over the prospect of a President Trump.

”Trump will be a dictator!”

”President Trump will limit freedom of the press!”

”Gays will become targets of persecution!!”

”He will imprison his political enemies!”

“Anyone who speaks out against Trump will be rounded up in the dead of night and taken away!!”

“Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!!”

Just when all their over-the-top histrionics reaches a fever pitch, Fidel Castro dies.

And those same Leftists who fear a Trump Presidency are now grieving the loss of a man who did all the things they’re so terrified Trump will do.

The insipid Los Angeles Times tweeted out “Fidel Castro dead at 90, charismatic icon ruled Cuba.” [Hat tip Weasel Zippers]

Moronic dink Geraldo Rivera said, “I think he will be remembered fondly.” [Hat tip the Gateway Pundit]

Jesse Jackson lauded Castro and his “cause of fighting for freedom and liberation.” [Hat tip Weasel Zippers]

It’s downright hilarious, isn’t it?

Nothing shows the complete moral bankruptcy of the Left quite like this.

It’s as if a higher power decided to make the Left eat their own words.

No matter how you slice it, Castro’s death is shining a Klieg light on the stupidity of the Left.

“We hate Trump because we are afraid he’s going to be exactly like Fidel Castro. Who, okay, we really loved, but that’s different!”

See what I mean?

Finished growing up in South Florida (14 on up). Ran two companies in Hialeah, which is as Cuban as “calle ocho “(was a bit of a flap years ago about city council meetings conducted in Spanish). One of the companies was owned by the mayor’s brother. I have been on the phone this morning with a couple of Cuban friends who were practically giddy.
I have been living in Northwest Florida since retiring, and haven’t seen these folks for years…but some are escapees, and some the children of escapees. One crossed the Florida Straights on a rubber raft. One does not dare 90 miles of shark infested waters on a rubber raft to get away from Utopia.

Colin Kaepernick was roundly booed Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in North Miami. Seems he liked Castro , and the LARGE Cuban community of South Florida let him know where he stood with them….
The funniest part of the game was..Kiko Alonso plays defense for the Dolphins…he’s the son of a Cuban Immigrant father….and had a career day…he intercepted a Kaepernick pass…and on the final play of the game, he and Ndamukong Suh stopped Kaepernick from scoring and bent him backwards…..

Ralph I don’t watch football but did see it was the son of Cuban immigrant that took that asshat down. Karma.

I haven’t watched a game all year…but I had to watch the start of this one, knowing that he had worn a Fidel’s shirt the week before, and he had a really contentious phone interview with a Cuban sportswriter at the Miami Herald prior to arriving. I knew the Miami fans would ride his a $$. I haven’t lived in South Florida for nearly 20 years, but I know how the Cuban community feels about Fidel’s.
One other noticeable thing about the celebration in Little Havana…..Cubans celebrated carrying both Cuban and American flags….
In Califonication they carry Mexican flags and burn American flags.
