Expecting Chicago Teachers do their job is sexism, racism and misogyny

In a now-deleted tweet, the Chicago Teachers Union claimed yesterday that “the push to reopen schools is sexism, racism and misogyny.”

How dare you expect us to do our jobs, you sexist, racist, misogynists!

Apparently Chicago Teachers don’t see themselves as essential. Though to be fair when it comes to actually educating children, they aren’t particularly essential.

Being present in a classroom in Chicago schools is no guarantee that children will learn anything because at the end of the day “education” is not a priority for the Chicago Teachers Union – or any teachers union come to think of it.

You might recall that the Teachers Union for the LA Unified School District issued a myriad of demands before agreeing to return to in-school learning including defunding the police, Medicare for All, a $500B federal bailout, and an end to Charter Schools.

You’d be hard-pressed to figure out how those demands would make in-person education “safer” from COVID.

Fact is, the students most harmed by idiotic “remote learning” are minorities. Their schools were already garbage. And remote learning has only made matters worse.

Nothing has hurt public education more than Teachers Unions. Unions have one priority – their members. So whether it’s the Chicago Teachers Union or the LA Unified Teachers Union, their demands will always be what benefits their members and not the children they are supposed to teach.

The bottom line here is the Chicago Teachers don’t want to go back to work — so screw the kids.

But this is hardly surprising coming from these guys. Back in 2019, the Chicago Teachers Union went on strike demanding an average salary of $100,000 a year. I’m sure being expected to live on a paltry average salary of $78,211 a year was racist, sexist and misogynistic too.

There is no medical reason to keep schools closed, so these idiots pull the Racist/Sexist/Misogynist Card. Is anyone surprised? In America in 2020, everything you don’t like is racist, sexist and misogynistic.

Brace yourselves for more of this kind of garbage in a “Biden Administration.”

Joe Biden has already signaled that his Secretary of Education would be a union hack. So it won’t just be the Chicago Teachers Union that shows this level of stupidity and self-interest. The entire Department of Education will become Command Central for the stupidity and self-interests of teachers unions.

Public schools were never about providing secure employment for overpaid, underqualified teachers. The purpose was to provide every child in America with an education.

The instant teachers were permitted to unionize, “education” took a back seat. And when Teachers Unions realized they could buy politicians to increase their own power and pay, every child in America got screwed.

And nothing has screwed American school children more than the Teachers Unions’ exploitation of COVID.

A Biden/Harris Administration will make public education far more costly and a thousand times worse. And because they’ve already signaled their opposition to school choice, your children will be stuck in classrooms with idiots like the Chicago Teachers Union.

But I’m sure my saying that is sexist, racist and misogynist too.

Teacher’s Unions care about our kids the same way the Teamsters care about our freight, not even one teensy tiny little bit, ever.

This phoney covid crisis is the ultimate fever dream for the teacher’s unions and the progressive left. Getting paid well for doing little to nothing slots in nicely to their redistribution mindset. Additionally, “teaching” has now been reduced to electronically doling out healthy portions of propaganda and indoctrination, in the hope that today’s children and youth will grow up (at least physically) to be dumbed-down, government loving bots who willingly and eagerly embrace all dictates from government and business elites. Spin-off consequences leave now unemployed parents bowing to their elected overlords for financial support and working couples torn between leaving children unattended and giving up one income to stay at home. Globalist/NWO adherents now have created the perfect storm for dismantling the nuclear family, which has always been a basic tenet of gaining complete control over the populace. Add to that the encouragement of children to report their parents for violating draconian covid restrictions, and an updated, 21st century version of Hitler Youth falls into place to stoke further fear, resentment, and division. Karl Marx would be overjoyed by current events, if he weren’t so busy trying to extinguish the flames engulfing him. Multiple credible studies have concluded covid is mild, or asymptomatic in most youth, child to child and child to teacher transmission is rare, and deleterious mental and psychological harm from isolation outweighs the risk of transmission of covid by orders of magnitude. If those who scream loudly to “follow the science” (democrats) refuse to actually do so, perhaps a revolt, such as not paying property tax, which pays teacher’s salaries, might get their attention.

Schools, especially colleges, are just job shops for otherwise unemployable democrats.

    Screw the kids.

Teachers are the most overpaid and incompetent fools in America. They have a part-time job and do nothing but whine about how hard they work. Give me a break! Here’s the deal – 10% of teachers are tremendous, 10% are HORRID, and 80% are meh… Just hanging around for the pension. BUT, they get paid not based on how good they are or how bad they are. They get paid for how long they’ve been hanging around. Albert Shanker, a GIANT in the teachers’ union movement summed it up: “When school children start paying union dues, that’s when I’ll start representing the interests of school children.” Nice, Al.

I went to a teachers college in NJ in 1959 and when the NJEA came in and told me I had to join or I would never work in the system I said goodbye and have never regretted it to this day.
Every time I see these antics it just reinforces the fact I made the right decision and it shows what cowards they are.

Really good teachers last about 2-3 years and are driven out by the union garbage. Sending a kid to most schools and universities now is child abuse. A friend of mine taught in Chicago for 3 years and has stories that would make you sick! Leftists destroy everything they touch.

You ignorant complainers do not comprehend the magnitude of how difficult the job of teaching has become. The parents, students, and school administrators all hate teachers and think they are overpaid. Wrong! I have done many jobs, and teaching is one of the most difficult and least financially rewarding compared to skillset and knowledge base. It is like running an entire isolated storefront as a one person operation, except someone else sets your expectations and rewards. The only entity that is in the teacher’s corner is the Union. The rest of the world hates us, without knowing us. I say, good for the Union. It’s all we teachers have.

[That’s a hell of a lot of complaining coming from someone who calls others “ignorant complainers.” — Dianny]
