Fakey Fakey Eggs and Bakey

If you haven’t seen the story yet, give it time, you will. A big old fakey website has an BREAKING story reporting that tens of thousands of ballots were found in a warehouse in Columbus, Ohio and all of the ballots were votes for Hillary.

Oh, dear! A big scoop about major voter fraud!!!

Only one problem.

It’s fake. Phony. Bull-pucky. Hooey. Boloney.

I saw the story on Twitter and went to check it out. No sources, no links, nothing.

The story is just a little too convenient and perfect. A janitor who happens to be a Trump supporter stumbles on tons of ballot boxes stuffed full with filled out ballots voting for Hillary.

Sounds like a plot to a really bad TV show on TNT.

My spider senses immediately began to tingle. I posted it on Facebook asking if anybody from Ohio had heard anything about it. It seemed a little too much to be true. Nobody corroborated, but many voiced doubts.

I searched the Internet to see if I could find corroborating stories. Nothing. Not one.

What’s even more insulting is the photo used in the post is badly photoshopped.

It shows a man surrounded by black plastic tubs with “BALLOT BOX” allegedly stamped on them. But “BALLOT BOX” was added to the image. You can easily tell it was added. Every one is exactly the same size and the perspective is identical despite the fact that the boxes are not all facing the same direction.

Oh, boy. How phony baloney can you get?!

That is really shoddy work.

The post is from a site called “Christian Times Newspaper.”

So I did a little searching using the paper name and the word “hoax.” After much Googling, I discovered that “Christian Times Newspaper” is a hoax news site.

But who’s going to doubt a site with “Christian” in its name?

Quite a sweet little scam they got going, n’est ce pas?

No, I’m not providing a link. Why give these fakers any traffic?

But if you see anyone sharing a story with the headline: “BREAKING: Tens of thousands of Clinton ballots found in Ohio warehouse,” let them know it’s a hoax.

The downside of the Internet is the ease with which fake stories get disseminated.

Don’t get fooled.

One of the things that damages the truth about voter fraud are fraudulent stories like this one.

It also looks like something was “painted” over on a number of the boxes. Other than having absolutely no corroboration and a lame Photoshop, it looks like Dan Rather has come out of retirement!
