French cuisine seems a tad symbolic

French cuisine seems a tad symbolic

After putting in an appearance at the Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington Cemetery, Joe and Kamala, with spouses in tow, decided to dine on fancy pants French cuisine at Le Diplomate in DC.

Maybe it’s me, but choosing French cuisine on a decidedly American holiday seems just a tad symbolic, n’est-ce pas?

They could’ve gone for good old American food in honor of Americans who sacrificed their lives for our liberties. But no. They chose French cuisine.

Why, on a day honoring Americans who fought and died in war would the President and Vice President choose cuisine from a country known for its skill in surrendering to the enemy?

[No offense, Frenchies, but you know I’m right about the surrendering thing.]

Though it is a rather fitting choice for Joe and his cackling backup dancer. They’re surrendering to Iran. They’re surrendering to Russia. Hell, they issued a complete surrender to the radical Left wing of their own party.

These guys are so good at surrendering, they exceed the French in every way. In fact, they’re even giving the RINO Surrender caucus a run for its money.

Now, maybe I’m reading too much into it. After all, it could just be that Ice Cream Joe and Vice President Instagram Model are such rich elitists they just can’t bring themselves to stoop to eating the hamburgers, hot dogs and brats the rest of us rags and tatters enjoy on an American holiday.

Or they’re so self-absorbed it never dawned on them just how tone deaf choosing French cuisine on Memorial Day might make them look.

Though, to be fair, according to Breitbart, this fancy pants French restaurant’s lunch menu does offer a hamburger and fries for the low, low price of twenty bucks. I know inflation is bad, but who the hell would pay twenty dollars for a hamburger and fries?

Wait! I know! Self-absorbed rich elitists, that’s who.

What is it about these insanely rich Democrats and their love of French cuisine anyway? It’s like they’re trying too hard to fit into the stereotype of Wealthy Privileged Swells.

But do tell me more about good old “working class Joe from Scranton.”

Listen, I don’t begrudge people having a lot of money. Everybody should have the opportunity to get stupid rich. But I do find it odd that two people who claim to be fighting for the working class can’t even forego the fancy pants French cuisine on a day honoring men and women who fought and died for our country.

“ Who would pay $20 for a burger and fries”, you ask?
Someone who is not paying for it themselves, is who.
You know damn well the taxpayers are picking up that tab.

Do you know why there are trees on both sides of French roads? So invading armies can have shade on both sides.

I heard it this way; “Why are the avenues of Paris lined with trees? So the Germans can march in the shade.”

The Biden/Harris surrendering administration. You’ve grooved a high nineties fastball at the letters on the outside corner. A winning pitch.

Go along to get along. America surrenders in all circumstances. One asks — and America surrenders.

    The surrendering administration

I guess we, the American taxpayers, paid for their extravagant meal.
