Get off your knees!
Remember back in 2016 when Iran’s clown navy captured a US naval vessel? A gleeful and gloating Iran spread those propaganda pictures of US sailors on their knees before their Iranian captors.
It was the most shameful thing ever.
And rather than express outrage over it, the Obama State Department, led by the horse-faced Secretariat of State John Kerry fell figuratively to its knees and groveled to Iran.
Well, clearly that groveling embrace of submission offered by the Obama Administration is still infecting the US Military.
Yesterday members of the National Guard went to their knees during a street protest.
And apparently we’re all supposed to be THRILLED at how wonderful it is.
Yeah. No.
I’m not thrilled. It isn’t wonderful.
It’s disgusting.
Get off your knees, you idiots!
I couldn’t agree more.
But now you understand what I meant when I said in my previous post that the campus culture of collective guilt and victimhood has infected the entire nation.
It is not just Leftist activists, Limousine Liberals or sycophantic Democrat politicians, but US Military personnel on their knees.
As Jesse Kelly put it, “What you’re seeing is the end result of 50+ years of capitulation in the culture wars. Yesterday, it was your sociology professor. Today, it’s your CEOs, politicians, and military leaders.”
And like the Iranians did with those US sailors in 2016, the Leftists who have infected our once exceptional nation will gleefully broadcast this moment of submission – all the while gloating at what they’ve brought us to.
They don’t want justice; they want surrender.
They don’t want equality; they want capitulation.
Forcing US Military personnel to their knees used to be something only America’s enemies did. Now the US Military is doing it to themselves.
Remember all that media twaddle about President Trump supposedly diminishing America’s standing in the world? Well, how is our standing looking when US Military personnel are voluntarily dropping to their knees?
These men make us look weak and capitulating.
You think China or Iran see this video of Guardsmen on their knees and think, “Boy, those guys are gonna be tough to beat.”
Not in the least.
America’s enemies are salivating at the sight of this.
Honestly, what is wrong with people?

BOOM! Dianny, that is the EXACT photo that I remembered when I saw our National Guard Soldiers kneeling in front of these protestors. THE OFFICER in Charge should be COURTS MARSHALLED. These Troops didn’t do it on their own. Some ranking individual told them to do it.
So should they shot the protesters?
Mace them?
Beat them?
Shove them?
That’s what I’ve seen police doing to peacefully protesting people.

The soldiers are there to keep watch OVER the crowd, not the be spectators in it.

Like I heard earlier today, they had the same mindset in Communist China in the sixties when the cultural police brain-washed the youth to go through out the country and make everyone get on their knees and swear allegiance to the Party; anyone not doing it were ridiculed, shamed and worse; rounded up for “re-education”. Sound familiar? BlackLivesMatter is just another arm of communism; hiding under a blanket of “were just making sure every black man has rights and equality”. But they have no idea that the elites running it are puppets of George Soros to the tune of $650,000.
There is a poster out there that shows Mr. Soros promising to enflame the Black Rights movement and push them to violence. He is allegedly saying in the poster; “because blacks are easy to manipulate”. Looking at Sharpton today, I think he’s right.
How about just man your post? You were not put there to initiate conflict or join the protest.
“Here, let me carry your sign. Hold my gun.”
What peaceful protesters? Every mob that disrupts the people’s right to their streets, the opportunity to do business as usual, the benefit of institutions that are in place through the democratic process .. all of that is rebellion against the society that feeds them. “Peaceful” protesters who provide cover for rioters and looters are like the “moderate Muslims” who won’t stop their jihadi brothers from beheading people because the beheading serves the “moderates'” purposes.
If there were any intention to protest peacefully, the demonstrators would confine their activities to city hall or the governor’s offices. Everyone who refers to the mobs as peaceful is kneeling in dhimmi fashion.
Disgrace to the uniform and our country
It is unfortunate that they have to be there at all, but to take a knee is ridiculous. This is the stupid shit one would expect of the Great Black Hope. I thought we were rid of him.
I’m Caribbean-American. Son of immigrants. I’m nervous when I speak to cops. People in my community for many various reasons have high suspicion and antagonistic relationships with cops.
I respect them, love them. But I also know my constitutional rights and responsibilities. I don’t give law enforcement permission to search my person or property without a warrant. In a word, I’m a conservative.
I can see the value of the protests (not looting and rioting) and the value of protecting protesters and innocent bystanders.
I can see NO value in kneeling for any talk. If it was a pro-American speech, the military and police in uniform present should not clap. If it is an anti-American speech, the same. Your opinion and sympathies are on pause when you put on the uniform. You literally have one single job: uphold and defend the constitution.

Don’t be so sure that your idea of peaceful protest is what motivates the majority of those who join mobs like these we are seeing. Protest and occasional civil disobedience are great tools for wronged citizens but are nothing short of insurrection when they are employed by malcontents who can’t specify – factually – why they are protesting.
This demonstration was disgusting and if they are not reprimanded it sets dangerous precedent.
Imagine not knowing whether your comrades have an eye on your six or are fawning lovingly at the speaker in a protest…while cops and military in other parts of the country are being ambushed and shot at. How does this make an honest soldier feel when he gets back into his vehicle. I would have stood and the crowd would have jeered and cursed at me. Then what would my brother do? Force me to kneel? Immediately upon returning to base, I would have demanded a reassignment. Disgusting.
This is craziness.
That pisses me off big time. Who the hell is their commander?
Can any of us imagine our fathers, uncles, brothers, grandfathers who served in WWII or Vietnam doing this? No freakin’ way!
Better to die standing up than live on your knees.
