I hate Earth Day

Earth Day

Can I just kick off the day by pointing out that I hate Earth Day?

Now, don’t get me wrong. It isn’t that I don’t love this planet we call home. Not at all. I like to think that I am a good steward of God’s creation.

But I just despise the fact that we’re all supposed to pretend that Earth Day is some altruistic, “Love our Earth Mother” celebration when we all know that’s a great big lie.

Did you know that the reason Earth Day was first held on April 22, 1970 is because that was the one hundredth birthday of Vladimir Lenin?

Ironic. Isn’t it?

When folks say “Green is the new Red,” this is precisely what they mean.

Why else would the only people held to account for “raping our Planet” be those of us from largely Free Market Capitalist nations?

Have you seen the pictures from Germany now that they’ve opened their doors to so-called “refugees” from throw-back cultures in the Middle East? Those people are hurling trash everywhere. They don’t love our Planet. And they couldn’t care less about keeping Mother Earth pristine.

Speaking of which, Ann Coulter’s column for this week is a great example of how people from third-world countries really are a blight on Mother Earth.

But only people in advanced, post-industrial Capitalist nations are harangued endlessly about how awful we are for the Planet.

This obsession with linking Free Markets with the destruction of our Mother Earth isn’t just coinkidink.

It’s deliberate.

The Green Movement is nothing but an anti-capitalist political movement.

And Earth Day is the Shiny Happy Trojan Horse used to advance the Anti-Capitalist agenda – most especially within public schools.

From 1970 on, Earth Day has been an opportunity to terrorize children into believing that their whole way of life is going to kill – not just them – but the entire planet.

And the only way to stop that from happening was for children to reject modernity. Cars are bad. Air travel is bad. DDT (which prevents malaria) is bad. Using incandescent lightbulbs is bad. And heaven forbid you use a plastic grocery bag.

Pretty much everything that keeps America from becoming a Third World hellhole is bad.

Earth Day isn’t about encouraging people to be good stewards of the planet.

Instead, Earth Day is nothing more than an opportunity to vilify the very things that made this nation the greatest nation on Earth.

Besides – and this is really what grates my cheese — today is my birthday.

And for 47 years, I have had to share my birthday with this phony fraud of an environmental commie con job known as Earth Day.

So, no, I’m not going to encourage everyone to shut off their lights for an hour.

If you want to know what it’s like to live without modern conveniences, move to friggin’ North Korea.

And I’m not going to insist you take to a fainting couch and sob over how horrible you’ve been to Mother Earth simply by existing.

We are not parasites on this Planet. And we shouldn’t act like we don’t deserve to be here.

Capitalism has done more to improve the quality of life for people on Planet Earth than anything else.

If you really want to find a way to make a difference on this April 22nd. Hit the tip jar and make a contribution to PatriotRetort.com in honor of my birthday.

Sure, that may sound selfish, but it will make me feel a hell of a lot better. And you don’t have to sit in the dark for an hour to do it.

Come on. Who can say no to this face?

Remember who started Earth Day? Ira Einhorn a/k/a The Unicorn, the slob who murdered his girlfriend Holly Madison & left her body in a trunk for weeks. Had it not been for the determination of then Philadelphia DA Lynne Abraham, this freak would still be living very happily in France. Abraham was so elated when Einhorn was finally brought back to the States that she personally met his plane at the airport. Good for her!
