Herr Doktor Fauci says “Show us your papers”
I’ve heard about enough from Herr Doktor Fauci.
Yesterday Politico reported that Herr Doktor Fauci suggested Americans be issued “certificates of immunity” from the Federal Government.
“I mean, it’s one of those things that we talk about when we want to make sure that we know who the vulnerable people are and not,” he said. “This is something that’s being discussed. I think it might actually have some merit, under certain circumstances.”
Pardon my French, Herr Doktor, but fuck that.
Today in an op-ed in the Washington Examiner, Representatives Andy Biggs and Ken Buck ask “Is Anthony Fauci Helping or Hurting?”
I didn’t need to read a single word before blurting out “Hurting!”
From their op-ed:
Two weeks ago, at least 3.3 million people filed for unemployment benefits. Last week, 6.8 million more joined the ranks of the unemployed. On Thursday, an additional 6.6 million workers were added to the rolls of the unemployed.
For Fauci, is it merely a societal or economic inconvenience that about 17 million workers are unemployed because of the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, with many more to come in the weeks and months ahead? The economic calamity lies largely with the origination of policies resulting from Fauci’s recommendations.
Fauci has admitted that the models he relies on are unreliable. The models, and their panic-inducing projections, have seemingly been revised down every couple of days. Fauci insists this because of his policy prescriptions, but time and data from the United States and other nations will reveal whether that is true.
We have heard Fauci say the economic cost and societal impacts of his policies were not considered when he devised his epidemic response plan. But the question is whether the medicine he prescribed will prove to be more harmful than the disease in the long term.
Nobody elected this man. He is not in any way accountable to We the People. And yet because of his out-sized platform — because they’ve been told to “listen to the experts” — governors and mayors around the country are adopting police state tactics all on the word of Herr Doktor Fauci.
Take for example diese Frau aus Michigan, Governor Gretchen Whitmer. She’s really enjoying these extra-governmental powers nobody bestowed on her.
In addition to barring travel outside of your home, Frau Whitmer has deemed some grocery items “non-essential.” So while those items may occupy shelf space in your local market, you are forbidden to purchase them.
This is what Herr Doktor Fauci fails to understand.
It doesn’t take much for elected officials to turn into tyrants. All they have to say is “I’m listening to the experts.”
Fauci sees nothing beyond the Wuhan Virus. As Biggs and Buck’s op-ed points out, Herr Doktor Fauci said “the economic cost and societal impacts of his policies were not considered when he devised his epidemic response plan.”
Well, the economic cost and societal impacts are grave. So maybe Herr Doktor Fauci should take a back seat and keep his anti-Liberty opinions to himself.

Fauci and his team of experts deserve some credit for mitigating the spread of this virus. But they should no longer be the primary voices at the table. Fauci and Birx have indicated pretty strongly that they do not consider the greater needs of the country.
At this point, Herr Doktor Fauci is doing more harm than good.
As a result, before you can say Police State, elected leaders are behaving like Dictators, turning their police into the Gestapo and neighbors into informants.
They are barring citizens from purchasing things these quasi-tyrants have deemed “non-essential.”
They are urging citizens to report any who defy the dictates imposed on us.

They are preventing citizens from exercising their Constitutionally-protected right to worship.
All because elected officials are “listening to the experts” like Herr Doktor Fauci. An “expert” who admitted “the economic cost and societal impacts of his policies were not considered when he devised his epidemic response plan.”
No one should be permitted this kind of power. Not our elected officials, and certainly not Herr Doktor Fauci.
These “experts” are killing our economy.
They’re destroying our civil society.
They’re letting elected officials play petty dictators while expecting us to hide in our houses like Anne Frank.
Meanwhile, the non-elected, unaccountable Herr Doktor Fauci is telling us none of these quasi-police state tactics can let up until there are no new Wuhan cases.
Screw that.
Screw him.

Dr. Fauchi may be a great doctor…the best there is, and ever will be!
But, we also see that in other endeavors. Namely, the sports world. These “greatest” usually are so engrossed with themselves – and the praises heaped upon them (Dr. Fauchi) that they ruin those they supposedly are helping. A team, a country, their family.
Next I expect Fauci to step up to the mic and say he needs more cow bell.

To Dr. Fauci anything that doesn’t come out of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is anecdotal. Jesus, himself, could hand down Hydroxychloroquine and the good Dr. Fauci would poo poo it. He and the NIAID always have their hands out for taxpayer largess. They’ve been suckling at the government tit for a long time and they’ve never let a health crisis go to waste. Unfortunately Mr. Trump has allowed him on the press conference podium beyond his shelf life. Sorry to say he is now stuck with Fauci and his deep state partner Dr. Birx. Can you imagine the lame stream media hew and cry if Mr. Trump deep sixed both of them? It would be biblical level weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. It’s time to muzzle them both. Nuff said.
The governors of Michigan is a prime example of why the 19th amendment needs reconsideration.

This shutdown/lock down is the sort of thing that we feared Obama would pull. Now, we see Trump enmeshed in this shutdown/lock down and it will be his undoing if he allows it to go on much longer.
The people like Fauci will never say it is ‘safe’ or ok to end this. As long as they have us cowering and under their control they will not let up.
Trump is going to have to man up and take a stand and open the economy even if it is against the recommendations of Fauci and the rest. Face it, any time Trump decides to open things up will be the ‘WRONG TIME’ to the left. It does not matter when or what is going on. Trump will be wrong to the media and every leftist there is.
The real question is are Americans willing to take their chances to get back to work? Let the people make that choice. Give them an alternative. Stay home or go to work. Each can make their decision based on their own circumstances and health problems. This is how a free people would decide.
Let the lawsuits against governmental overreach begin!
