I thought using sex to manipulate and control was wrong

A big shout-out to CNN for once again proving they are as much of a legitimate news outlet as the Wildly Inaccurate Dianny News Service.

Kudos!

Just the other day, CNN published an opinion piece with this headline:

What if women went on a sex strike before the midterms?

The author of this bit of tripe is one Wednesday Martin.

Wait. I think that’s the wrong picture.

Oh, who cares? When writing about CNN, I am allowed to be as accurate as they are.

This vindictive shrew believes that women have all the power in sex and should start wielding it.

No more “service sex” where women capitulate to their partner’s desire to get groiny.

Nope. Now women should withhold sex until they get their way. And not just in the bedroom. But in politics too.

Am I missing something new here?

Isn’t that how women have behaved for millennia?

This is about as earth-shattering as an opinion piece on how you discovered that sour cream and chives go great on baked potatoes.

Wednesday cites an ancient Greek comedy by Aristophanes to back up her argument.

In Lysistrata, the women decide not to have sex with the men in order to stop a war.

Therefore, modern American women should go on a sex strike to make a powerful political statement – “that female desire, a metric of agency like women’s votes, will be heard.”

Let me translate that feminist gobbledygook into plain English: “You want sex, vote the way I want you to.”

But isn’t using sex as a weapon to manipulate and control the other person bad?

Isn’t that what Harvey Weinstein did?

Sure, he didn’t threaten to withhold sex to get what he wanted. He threatened to withhold movie roles unless he got sex.

But the principle is the same.

It is weaponizing sex for your own ends.

Hate to tell you, Wednesday, but if that’s how you view sex, I feel really sorry for you.

In the immortal words of Pat Benatar, stop using sex as a weapon.

The truth is, most Leftist men would be cowed into playing along with the “let’s weaponize sex to get men to vote our way” strategy. In fact, most of them already are cowed.

But any man with an ounce of self-respect wouldn’t give in to this kind of emotional blackmail.

And of course Wednesday blames her unsatisfying sex life on President Trump.

Because, why else would CNN publish this?

What are the President’s insults to Stormy Daniels other than assertions that the woman who enjoys sex or profits from it in any way — emotionally, financially, or physically — is unnatural, immoral, and unattractive?

I’m sorry. What?

The President insults Stormy Daniels because the opportunistic little gold digger took the money then blabbed anyway.

It’s not sex she’s profiting from; it’s her usefulness to the anti-Trump news media. She’s exploiting the desperation of the cable news Resistance^LOL for her own financial ends.

Do you think she’d get national news coverage for dancing at seedy strip clubs if she had sex with Barack Obama? Do you think she would have gotten a book deal?

No. Stormy is cashing in on the media’s hatred of Trump.

This argument is so far removed from reality, it’s clownish.

If President Trump only insulted Stormy and didn’t insult every single person who jumps on the “I hate Trump so give me attention” bandwagon, maybe Wednesday’s claim would be plausible. But he does insult everyone, not just a porn actress and stripper.

Moving on:

In this world order, female sexual autonomy is not only dangerous and destabilizing; it is increasingly hard to imagine. And female pleasure is irrelevant, even pathological, if it exists at all.

Female sexual autonomy is dangerous and destabilizing? Is she living in Iran?

Here in America, women already call the shots.

Some women under the current administration may be fine with this paradigm, but they are fundamentally yoked to male desires and agendas, never to exist outside or without them.

So not only is President Trump Hitler, he’s one of the mullahs.

Again, honey. This isn’t Iran!

Girls, an honest question. Do you think you will never “exist outside or without” men? Do you feel “fundamentally yoked to male desires and agendas?”

The only girls who would answer “Yes” are are the ones dressed as Handmaids and think they’re living in Gilead. The rest of us probably rolled our eyes and said, “Pfft. No.”

This basic and deeply personal form of degradation, in which even women’s desires aren’t our own, both reinforces and reflects a hierarchy where men matter more.

Good grief.

What a sad, pathetic life Wednesday must lead if that’s how she views things.

But this is a common theme among modern Victim-centric Feminists, isn’t it?

Even Hillary buys into this claptrap. We women who support Trump or vote Republican live in a world in which men matter more therefore we voted for Trump to please our man while degrading ourselves.

It’s nonsense, of course.

And if this is how Wednesday feels about American women in general, she must not know any.

I pity any man who goes to bed with this woman.

Women don’t owe men a thing. If anything, the statistics show, we are owed.

Good grief. What a bitter and resentful way to look at a relationship.

Men, if you are saddled to someone who thinks this way, for heaven’s sake, hit the bricks. She’s not worth the hassle.

It’s time to make sex and sexual pleasure female-centric.

How about making sex “couple-centric?”

Each couple, each woman, will have to find out what female sexual adventure and pleasure means for them.

And what if a woman gets the most pleasure out of pleasing her man? What will you do to her, Wednesday? Will you take away her Woman Card?

But the idea of a sex strike suggests exciting possibilities beyond the bedroom.

Exciting for whom exactly?

Beyond the bedroom? Honey, it doesn’t even offer exciting possibilities for the bedroom.

What would not just sex but the world look like if we prioritized what women want in every sex act? How might the political, social, and sexual landscapes all shift if we acknowledged that in many cases, the server is unsatisfied — and actually believed it was important to set things right?

What’s this “we” honey?

You don’t speak for me.

I’m thinking Wednesday should have titled her piece “Why men with even an ounce of testosterone won’t sleep with me.”

This “opinion” piece is almost as horrible as the one from that screaming harpie in the Washington Post a month ago.

But I’m not surprised.

Most Leftist women have a very low opinion of both men and women.

All men are rapists and all women are victims.

I gotta tell you, that’s a sad, pathetic way to view the world.

But let her have her sex strike if it makes her happy (which I doubt because I suspect this woman is never happy).
