Imaginary Violence

Imaginary Violence

Yesterday, I worked for sixteen hours on my new e-book RANT: Derangement & Resistance in MAGA Country.  I only put it aside long enough to express my grief at the untimely end of the Cringe Candidate’s 2020 quest for the White House.

And one of the sections I was working on yesterday had to do with the violence of the paramilitary wing of the Democrat Party – Antifa.

In the intro to that section, I cite Ann Coulter’s 2011 book “Demonic: How the Liberal Mob is Endangering America.”

Chapter 12 of Ann’s book has this title: “Imaginary Violence from the Right vs. Actual Violence from the Left.”

Some things never change.

Despite Ann’s book being eight years old, that summation holds true today.

The media and the Democrats still light their hair on fire over imaginary violence from the right. While actual violence from the Left is ignored or excused – or worse, fomented.

So imagine my surprise when this morning I stumbled across this excellent column by Julie Kelly at American Greatness: “The White Supremacist Bogeyman.”

Speaking of imaginary violence.

Now, as I am still in the midst of working on my new e-book, I thought I’d post a bit of Julie’s column here.  But you’ll definitely want to read the entire thing.

They are everywhere.

I am talking, of course, about white supremacists. The news media, Democrats, and NeverTrump Republicans would have us believe the country is under siege by a sinister cabal of Americans who want to return to the days of Jim Crow, or better yet, the era of slavery. Since the election of Donald Trump, white supremacists, we are warned, occupy the White House and control the Republican Party.

The signs are everywhere.

A MAGA hat is the new white hood. A common hand signal for “OK” actually is a way to send a message of solidarity to other white supremacists. So is drinking a glass of milk. Or owning a dog. Or selling an athletic shoe embossed with an American flag designed by Betsy Ross.

It shouldn’t come as a galloping shock to anyone that the reason the Left has to turn innocuous things like hats, beverages and hand gestures into some venal “sign” of rampant white supremacy is because, well, there is no rampant white supremacy.

But they’re keeping the dream alive.

Which explains why they are willing to believe every single solitary hate crime hoax that comes over the transom.

When you can’t find any actual violence, imaginary violence will do in a pinch.

The media, Hollywood and Democrats go out of their way to ignore the actual violence from their side because, as Ann Coulter puts it at the end of Chapter 12 in “Demonic:”

It’s always Liberals: like Robespierre, they commit violence for the greater good.

Here’s one more quote from Julie’s column:

So, why the manufactured panic? White supremacy is the new Russian collusion, an imaginary threat intended to align Republicans, especially Trump supporters, with the bad guys. David Duke and Richard Spencer are the 2020 version of Vladimir Putin. If you support Trump in 2020, you, by extension, support the Klan. (This must be news to the voters in the 206 counties who voted twice to put a black man and his black family in the White House but voted for Trump in 2016.)

Want a border wall at the southern border? White supremacist! Want unlawful asylum seekers from Central America returned home? Nazi! Want tighter trade deals and a retreat from endless war? White nationalist! Object to wealthy athletes disrespecting the flag or the national anthem? Alt-right! Think a citizenship question on the census questionnaire is a legitimate inquiry? Nativist!

This is a cynical ploy to peel away Republicans voters who are uneasy or nervous about being labeled “hateful” in 2020—those voters who would find it socially awkward to be associated with “them.”

Read the whole thing HERE. It’s excellent.

This is all cut from the same cloth.

Promoting imaginary violence, accusing border patrol and ICE of being like Nazis or the Gestapo, screaming helplessly at the sky over a smirking teenage boy in a MAGA hat — all while condoning actual violence done by their side. It’s all happening to advance one objective:

Voter intimidation.

This is how the Democrats hope to win in 2020.

Because as Ann Coulter said, they commit to violence for the greater good.

And their “greater good” is power by any means necessary.

Seems that some (we know who they are) HATE ACCUSERS are actually being very “hateful” themselves. This tends to negate the credibility of their false accusations against specific Americans

      It’s classic Leftist psychological projection

One small correction. Bath-house Barry is not black, he is a mulatto. This most virulent of all race-baiters and dividers deliberately ignored his non-black ancestors and denigrated his grandmother, referring to her as a ”typical white person”. In multiple genetics classes leading to two biology degrees and an MD, nowhere was it taught or demonstrated that “black” genes were pre-eminent and white genes were relegated to the back of the bus.

C’mon now …. even HE referred to his grammy as a “typical white person”

Picky “bean Counter” here. BHO ALWAYS called himself BLACK! (schwarz)
If a man says he is black; who are we to call him dishonest?

And what happened to Robespierre? ?

Why of course racism exists. It’s just that white people can’t hear it. It’s in the ultrasonic range, from 16,000 to 20,000 Hz, which few white people can hear. Like Harley owners like to say, “If I have to explain, you wouldn’t understand.”

It’s everywhere, I tell ya. You just can’t hear it because you Republicans are all rich white people. You wouldn’t understand, because you don’t understand patriarchally nuanced gravitas. You animals.

Where would liberals be without their enemies and scapegoats? They would cease to exist.
