Jill Biden: We’re just getting started
To celebrate their 100th day in the White House, First Lady Jill Biden tweeted out a “Look how fashionable I am walking away” photo of herself with the threat “We’re just getting started.”
Energy prices are through the roof. Basic necessities are getting more expensive. Businesses can’t find employees because Washington has incentivized unemployment. Vital infrastructure is under cyberattack. And now the Middle East peace the Trump Administration made great strides to achieve is in flames.
Maybe it’s me, but after all that, Jill saying “We’re just getting started” doesn’t leave me feeling particularly optimistic about the future.
On a side note, what does walking away from the camera with your coat billowing like Batman’s cape have to do with anything? You’re the First Lady, Jill, not a superhero. The only thing you should be getting started on is ribbon cuttings and visiting children’s hospitals.
Though, you have to admit, Jill turning her back and walking away from us is a fitting image.
From the way I look at it, the only thing Biden Administration is getting started at is sending America back to the bad old days of the Carter years.
And, hey. Been there; done that.
Yesterday while Hamas fired rockets into Israel and Palestinians were attacking Israelis in the streets, old grandpa Joe made it an early day.
Because, you know. Nothing much is going on.
But don’t worry, folks. They’re just getting started!
America’s adversaries are on the move because they know the brain-muddled old coot in the White House has outsourced his job to a bunch of social justice warriors who couldn’t successfully operate a lemonade stand.
Last week, in an attempt to turn chicken shit into chicken salad, old Joe poo-pooed the disastrous job numbers by claiming that this is a marathon, not a sprint.
You’d think the President laying waste to the economy and emboldening our enemies at breakneck speed could pick up the pace when it comes to improving the lives of the people he took an oath to lead.
Then again, this chaos and destruction isn’t an accident. It isn’t incompetence.
It’s by design.
At least Carter didn’t mean to make things worse.

President Trump’s last SOTU speech was full of pride in our country, economy through the roof, jobs were plentiful and people were actually seeing that it CAN be done.
But of course, Nancy ripped up those pages, indicating that she’ll put a stop to all that.
And she did.
