John Kasich: Messenger of God

Messenger of God

I’ve always suspected John Kasich had delusions of grandeur.

Despite the fact that he couldn’t eke out a primary win in any state but his own, John remained convinced that he was the Chosen Republican to lead the party into a staggering 2016 loss.

After voters showed him how completely underwhelmed they were with him, Kasich doubled down on his sanctimonious twaddle.

And lately, he seems to have anointed himself the Messenger of God.

The problem Kasich has is he mistakes fawning coverage on CNN and NBC as proof positive that his evangelical self-promotion is a big crowd-pleaser in the rest of the country.

But the only “Good News” this Messenger of God brings has precious little to do with the Gospel and a heck of lot more to do with feeding his over-weaning ego.

Yesterday, the Messenger of God appeared on CNN to order Americans to accept the thousands of Central American invaders who are making their way to our sovereign border.

Build a wall? Why the Lord doesn’t want that! [Hat tip The Daily Wire.]

“We’ve got to start putting ourselves in the shoes of other people. We’ve got to start thinking about the consequences that others suffer. And if we have been spared those by the grace of God, let us be appreciative, let us count our blessings, and let us reach out to those who have less. And let’s stop putting up walls around ourselves and not understanding the plight, the trouble, and the problems of others. It is not right. And the Lord doesn’t want it, and our people at their hearts want to reach out to others.”

Good grief.

This kind of wooly-headed schmaltz is not grounded in reality.

Like most Leftists who claim to be channeling the Almighty, Kasich seems to believe that Charity is the responsibility of the Federal Government, not the individual.

I’ve said before that we’re a Sovereign Nation, not a halfway house. The Federal Government’s primary responsibility is to protect and defend this nation and its citizens. It isn’t charity outreach to the rest of the world.

If John Kasich, Messenger of God, wants to offer charity to those in Central America, he can hop on a plane and go to Central America.

Of course God’s Messenger isn’t going to do that.

It’s infinitely more difficult to appear on Meet the Press when one is doing charity work in Honduras. And Kasich can’t bring himself to go away and do good works.

Something John himself confirmed in that same interview.

When asked if he planned to run against President Trump in 2020, Kasich sanctimoniously declared:

”You know, Jim, the answer to that is I don’t have an idea what I’m going to do. For this reason: Right now I have a voice and it’s by the grace of God I’ve earned the voice. And I don’t want it to be diminished. I’ll tell you something, one way or another, I’m not gonna go away. [More’s the pity – Dianny] Do I have to be in elected office or run as a politician to have a voice? I’m not convinced of that, but we’ll see. All options are on the table. I don’t know. But I know this, I’m going to rally the people as best I can in the community, to bring out the best in them, to realize that when we solve our problems where we live, we don’t care about party identification and philosophy. All we care about then is making a better life for our families and our children. That is what I will be dedicated to doing.”

You know, if the Messenger of God really wanted to make life better for our families and our children, he wouldn’t be so cavalier about bringing in millions of illegal aliens.

This phony Prophet doesn’t care a wit about “the community.”

Unless, of course, by “community” Kasich means the on-air talent at CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC and CBS.

Speaking of the Reverend Kasich: Messenger of God, here’s a great segment from last night’s Tucker Carlson Show.

“when we solve our problems where we live,” is THE solution for the thousands of people who want the U.S. to take care of them. If their homelands are so bad, THEN STAY THERE AND FIX THEM. The 14,000 (or is it up to 20,000 now?) marching on their own capitols could force their governments to be better, but it’s easier to be a leech.

Kasich is in close competition with the Pope for champion of patronizing sanctimony and self righteousness .

Since Mr. Kasich has God’s ear, do you suppose he could ask Him to get me six million dollars and a flat stomach by next Tuesday? I could really use the money.

Rumor has it that Kasich’s father was a mailman.Any truth to that?

Send the caravan horde to Kasich’s house. I’m sure all residents of Ohio would love that.

The mailman’s son is left his mailbag of brains by the side of the road.
