Joking about someone’s religion is okay again!

Congresswoman-elect Ilhan Omar thought it would be funny to mock Vice President Pence’s Christian faith on Twitter.

Personally, I don’t have a problem with people making fun of Christians.

It’s a free country.  You should be free to joke about someone’s religion if you want to — so long as you’re not angling to host the Oscars.

So if this snotty little Sharia-loving gal who married her brother wants to tweet out “Jesus take the wheel,” why should I care?

In fact, I want to thank her for confirming that joking about someone’s religion is okay.

Now, it is totally fine for me to say, “Jesus takes the wheel.  Because if Mohammed drives, you might find yourself under the tires.”

Or “Jesus take the wheel; Mohammed is too busy raping an eight year old to drive.”

Or:

Of course we all know that none of these jokes about Ilhan’s religion are permitted on Twitter – or anywhere else for that matter.

Because joking about Muslims is not allowed.

And here’s the thing.  Ilhan Omar knows that too.

She knows she can mock Mike Pence’s religion on Twitter and get away with it.  While anyone who mocks her religion would be instantly, permanently banned.

And Ilhan isn’t just protected from jokes; she is also carefully shielded from those who simply speak the truth about Sharia and Islam.

Ilhan Omar is enjoying the heck out of this convenient double-standard.

I said before that Islamists don’t need to resort to violence to subjugate this country under Sharia.  All they need to do is sit back and let the politically-correct culture trip all over itself to do it for them.

And with all this air cover the PC Left provides her, Ilhan is free to lob her snotty insults at Christians knowing full well that no similar barbs will be heading her way.
