Kamala Panders to American Indians
The 2020 Democrats have two strategies.
1. Promising to take money from some Americans to give to other Americans. Or, as I call it, the Vote Buying Scheme with other people’s money.
And 2. Attacking America to suck up to a specific Identity Group. Or, as I call it, “Evil America done you wrong and I’m here to fix it!”
Sometimes these two plans of attack are joined together.
For example, Reparations. This is a vote buying scheme with other people’s money ostensibly to correct how America of the past done blacks wrong.
Or, in the case of Elizabeth Warren, there is promising Indians billions of taxpayer dollars ostensibly because America done Indians wrong (but really because Liz feels tremendously guilty about pretending to be Indian).
Whatever the case, there is a Bad Guy (ie the United States), the Victims (ie Blacks or Indians) and a heroic Savior-in-Waiting (ie the Democrat Presidential Candidate) who will right all the wrongs done to them by evil, evil America.
Obama’s incessant need to apologize for America on the world stage seems quaint and small fry in comparison to what these 2020 Democrats are doing.
They don’t just apologize for America. They condemn, attack and vilify America and its history — all in an effort to win the Presidency of the very country they hate.
Take a look at this insipid tweet from Kamala Harris.
Watch your back, Liz. Kamala is making a play for the Indians … by attacking Seventeenth Century America.
Fact check: Not exactly “the truth.”
Either Kamala is deeply ignorant of history or she’s so desperate to get her poll numbers up again she’ll rewrite history in order to pander to American Indians.
This is one of the benefits of the Left taking over public education. History is the least taught subject in public schools. As a result, idiots like Kamala Harris can peddle any simplistic, unrealistic account of history and nobody’s the wiser.
There’s a Thanksgiving episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer called “Pangs” in which Buffy ends up battling a vengeful Indian spirit.
Buffy and her pals are kvetching over the plight of the indigenous people as they prepare Thanksgiving dinner until Spike the Vampire has had enough:

Nations conquered indigenous people everywhere on this planet. It isn’t unique to the United States. Nor is it unique to the French, Spanish, Dutch and British who first colonized the Americas.
The Phoenicians (Lebanon and Syria) conquered North Africa and Southern Iberia (Spain). That’s why you can visit a Phoenician fortress in Malaga Spain. [I’ve been. It’s pretty awesome.]
The Macedonians conquered the Phoenicians.
And then there were the Romans who conquered pretty much everybody.
Those Romans went all the way up into the British Isles and conquered the indigenous peoples there (the Picts). You don’t find Roman ruins in Britain because the Brits bought them on Ebay for crap’s sake.
The first kings of England spoke French. Why? Because the French conquered England.
This is the history of the world.

Kamala relitigating the colonization of the Americas which began half a millennia ago is even more out of touch with 21st Century America than relitigating busing.
Truthfully, I don’t know if Kamala is angling for the support of American Indians or is simply using Indians as a way to appeal to white, Liberal suburban voters who feel endless pangs of guilt over things they had nothing to do with and can’t change.
Every nation of the world has a past that is drenched in blood. For some nations of the world they’re still swimming in it.
This knee-jerk virtue-signaling doesn’t change our past.
And unless Kamala is vowing that as President she will divest from North America and dismantle the United States in order to return it to the peoples we conquered, the only reason to say such incendiary things is to continue the Left’s mission to attack and divide the American people.
In fact, it’s a divide and conquer strategy.
Stop and marvel at the irony of that.
Leftists have no problem with steamrolling over the people, history and culture of the United States in order to remake it to their liking.
Which means they have far more in common with the original colonizing nations than they do with the modern American people.

Here in NE Oklahoma, whenever I see one of those many big, shiny new SUVs or souped-up pick-m-ups with Cherokee or Osage or other tribal license plates, zooming past my dilapidated old clunker on the highway, my first thought is, I need to take a bunch of my money and give it to that poor, suffering indigenous person.
And they make it so easy to voluntarily give them reparations now, what with the casinos.
When on vacation last year to S. Dakota a tour guide at Wind Cave National Park did a little talk about how white people kicked out the Sioux from their sacred land, the Black Hills. It was fun to ask her during the question and answer time if the Sioux actually originated in S Dakota. The answer of “No” of grudgingly given and that other tribes lived there up until the late 1700’s. Poor college girl. Some of us peons actually read up on things.
Leftists want us to believe that the Native Americans were pot smoking and loving innocent people. Most of them were just as bad as any other conquering nation. They couldn’t fight off white “invaders” because they were so used to hating each other that they couldn’t join together long enough to fight a few battles. They went to war to get slaves and kill their “enemies” to gain territory, like the Black Hills, which the Sioux took by force and some sources say at gun point from other tribes in the early 1800’s. They weren’t peaceful at all.
My great-great-great grandmother was Osage, I have proof of our connection. I have pictures of her even. It’s not like I’m so hateful white person like the left would believe. I’m just a realist. I don’t have blinders on. The history of this world is just like you said, larger, stronger groups conquering their enemies or weaker peoples in order to gain land and power. Let’s face it, it’s not like the Native American’s were actually advancing at all. They were living in a way that our white ancestors left behind during the stone age. Their lifestyle was not beautiful, it was sad. Thank goodness white people brought them out of the stone age, even if it was done at gun point.
In an interesting aside, the actor playing the Indian in the picture above is full-blooded Italian. I’m not kidding.
I believe the picture used for the tweet is an actor called Iron Eyes Cody. Who happens to be Italian not Native American. Could be wrong but I doubt it.

Kamala didn’t place that image of the crying Indian on that tweet. I did. And I placed it there ironically. Sheesh. You guys. Are you all too young to remember that insipid crying Indian commercial from the 1960s?
