We keep coming back to Susan Rice

On Inauguration Day, shortly before leaving her job as National Security Advisor, Susan Rice emailed herself the details of a White House meeting she attended with Obama, Biden, James Comey and Sally Yates.

Odd isn’t it how we keep coming back to Susan Rice?

This bit of ass-covering on the part of Rice is flat-out bizarre.

First, the meeting in question did not happen that day, but fifteen days earlier.

So what was Susan Rice’s motivation for quickly firing off this memo to herself just moments before vacating the White House?

If I had to guess, I’d say Susan Rice was doing this at the behest of the President.

As Thomas Lifson points out at American Thinker, Susan Rice has always been Barack Obama’s henchman. She was the go-to person to promulgate the official lies of the Obama White House.

In fact, she was so faithful at her job during the Benghazi aftermath, Obama rewarded her with a promotion.

Remember last spring when the unmasking and leaking of Trump people first made news, Susan Rice immediately sought out friendly “journalist” Andrea Mitchell to publicly issue the official denials.

When asked directly by Mitchell if she leaked the name of Mike Flynn, Rice’s response was slippery and clever.

“I leaked nothing to nobody and never would.”

At the time, I wrote:

Oh, dear. That pesky double negative.
 
Come on. It can’t be that Susan Rice is too stupid to understand basic English grammar.
 
After all, the Enslaved Press has been telling us for years that Obama’s White House was chocka-block with the most brilliant people on the planet.
 
The woman has a PhD from Oxford, for pity’s sake.
 
She would know that two negatives cancel each other out.
 
“I leaked nothing to nobody?”
 
If you leaked “nothing” to “nobody,” Susan, then you leaked something to somebody.
 
And my guess is, you leaked that information to Ben Rhodes who then leaked it to a whole lot of somebodies in the Enslaved Press.
 
But no matter.
 
You would have to be living under a rock to take Susan Rice’s denials seriously.
 
Double negative or no double negative.

I think the reason we keep coming back to Susan Rice is because all roads lead to Barack Obama.

And this bizarre “memo to herself” written just moments before she leaves the White House for good was Rice’s way of creating a paper trail to absolve Obama of his own culpability in this egregious abuse of power.

Even Senator Lindsey Graham — in his interview with Martha MacCullum on Fox last night — considers this email bizarre.

One wonders what Susan Rice and her colleagues were doing between Jan. 5 and Jan. 20 at noon that made her think she needed to blast out a quick CYA e-mail moments before Trump became president.

Again, this is what Thomas Lifson wrote today at American Thinker:

The truth is that Rice is a henchwoman. She’ll do whatever is asked of her in support of those who elevated her to power. But because she’s not that bright, she causes problems worse than the original ones she’s trying to fix. [Emphasis mine]

Lifson concludes:

The only reason people send emails to themselves (or write a memo for the files) is to get things on the record of an exculpatory intent. A piece of evidence, in this case, that President Obama wasn’t weaponizing the intelligence agencies. Except that the “evidence” is her own words about what Obama supposedly said weeks before she wrote the memo.

I agree.

Either Barack Obama himself instructed Rice to seed White House records with this bit of retroactive ass-covering. Or Rice did it of her own accord — knowing it would ultimately be necessary to cover her boss’ ass since the incoming Administration was likely to discover their nefarious dealings.

The portions of the memo Graham and Grassley cite in their letter to Rice – even to my untrained eye – look like the elaboration of a bad liar.

Which, ironically enough, is something I said about Susan Rice back in June of last year:

Yesterday, Judicial Watch announced that they were unable to acquire the Susan Rice unmasking documents from the NSA because they’ve been sent to the Obama Presidential Library.
 
When I read about this last night, a scene from The Silence of the Lambs popped into my head.
 
After Hannibal Lecter escapes custody, Clarice Starling and her roommate Ardelia are looking through the Buffalo Bill case file when they find a handwritten note from Lecter.
 
“Clarice, doesn’t this random scattering of sites seem desperately random? Like the elaboration of a bad liar. Ta, Hannibal Lecter.”
 
Desperately random. Meaning not random at all.
 
Clarice begins to review the dump sites again. And this time she focuses on the fact that the first victim was the third body found.
 
Unlike the other victims, Buffalo Bill weighted her down.
 
Why? Because he knew her.
 
And this realization led Clarice to find Buffalo Bill.
 
Removing Susan Rice’s unmasking paper trail and sending it to the still non-existent Obama Presidential Library to avoid FOIA.
 
Does this not seem desperately random – like the elaboration of a bad liar?

Now, consider that in the context of this email to herself.

The actual documentation of Susan Rice’s unmasking of Trump transition team members cannot be made public because the Obama people conveniently hid them through the “Presidential Records Act.”

Keep in mind that the Obama Presidential Library isn’t planning on including any of Obama’s presidential documents. So why in Lucifer’s reach would the paper-trail of Susan Rice’s involvement in the unmasking scandal be included at a Library that will not include presidential documents?

You’d have to be an idiot to not connect the dots. They are hiding their involvement in a criminal enterprise.

But lookie here!

The only documentation still available is an email Susan Rice sent to herself moments before leaving office.

Come on.

Do you see why I know this email is nothing more than a planted bit of phony “evidence?”

For all her so-called “brilliance,” Susan Rice really sucks at cover-ups.
