Kirsten Gillibrand is a deeply dangerous woman
This morning I went to Fox News’ website and watched the clips available from Wednesday’s Tucker Carlson show.
And the final clip available was a brief segment with Mark Steyn in which Tucker played a clip of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand on the Senate floor.
I couldn’t believe what I was watching.
Gillibrand sarcastically mocked those of us who believe in an American’s right to due process.
I’ll post the video clip with Mark Steyn down below, but here is what Gillibrand said in that clip:
“To those that I hear [chuckles] say over and over that ‘this isn’t fair to Judge Kavanaugh. He’s entitled to due process. What about the presumption of innocence until proven guilty?’ He’s NOT entitled to those because we’re not actually seeking to convict him!”
Dear God, what is wrong with this woman?
This is a deeply dangerous position for an attorney and a member of the United States Senate to take.
If Senate testimony has no weight, why put witnesses under oath? Why take statements that are under penalty of perjury if the statements are false?
Gillibrand seems to be oblivious to the fact that Kavanaugh and any witnesses who testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee are sworn in under oath. If anyone lies in his or her testimony – despite the fact that nobody in the Senate is seeking to convict – he or she can be charged with perjury.
That’s because the United States Senate is not — as Gillibrand seems to believe — a kangaroo court.
And a person’s right to due process do not stop at the door of a courthouse.
The presumption of innocence is sacrosanct – or at least it’s supposed to be.
And the fact that Gillibrand – a member of the “World’s most deliberative body” — doesn’t believe that is not only revealing; it’s incredibly dangerous.
Gillibrand wants to be President of the United States.
And this is what she thinks.
Listen to the clip in this segment below.
Listen to her condescension and sarcasm.
The Democrat Party revile our unalienable rights.
And for all their talk about “justice,” they have zero respect for the foundation of our justice system.

Simply put, for Dems politics trumps EVERYTHING.
Pelosi – claims to be a staunch Catholic, defends abortion to the death.
Ted Kennedy – actually kills woman, is elevated to sainthood by liberal women’s groups.
Gillibrand – Lawyer who claims someone under oath is not entitled to due process or the presumption of innocence.
After Ted Kennedy died, Gillibrand referred to him as an “American treasure.”
The court of public opinion does not replace a court of law therefore Kavanaugh should suffer no consequences then as one would with a court of law. No job loss, no reputation loss, etc.
Gillebrand is an idiot.
Brett has all the wrong persuasions…white, republican, Catholic…married, not gay, etc…just a horrible choice for the supreme court, ain’t it!?
Typical commie leftist.
NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! Vote for a Democrat.
Let me add one more NEVER!
Used to be that Senators were supposedly from a highly respected group of legislators.
Problem is that to be respected you have to act ‘respectful’.
The democrats have taken any notion of the Senate being a dignified group of elected representatives and have blown that to smithereens.
From Ted Kennedy, Sheets Byrd, onward, the quality and dignity of this body has rotted until all that is left are characters like Gillibrand, Booker, Schumer and the like.
History hopefully will record that these people actually destroyed our nation’s promise of freedom for all in their efforts to promote their party’s agenda.
Did you see Dick Durbin’s insinuation: “You have clearly and unequivocally denied that you assaulted Dr. Ford. With that statement, you must believe that there is no credible evidence or any credible witness that could prove otherwise.”
So, Kavanaugh, you are only denying Dr. Ford’s allegation BECAUSE you know she can’t prove it.
Democrats are worse than cancer, there is no cure for liberalism, progressives, communism. The only remedy for Democrats is death. If allowed to go unchecked, Democrats will destroy America ! The violation of rights both human and Conservative are the mantra of the new Democratic party ! I think that a civil was is coming, and coming soon. ANTIFA is going to feel the wrath of Conservatives very soon ! Liberals are going to feel the wrath at the voting polls , the liberal agenda cannot be allowed to continue, without destroying the American way of life !
Wikipedia says it best: “In the House, [Gillibrand] was known as a conservative Democrat or centrist, serving at the will of a highly conservative electorate. She was a member of the Blue Dog Coalition, a caucus of conservative Democrats. In the Senate, she is known more as one of the most liberal Senators, as she represents a heavily Democratic state… Gillibrand’s pro-gun rights positions received scrutiny after her appointment to the Senate and were the object of criticism by some of her fellow New York Democrats, particularly those in the New York City area. *Within days* of her being named to the Senate, Gillibrand indicated that her pro-gun rights position was “flexible.” By late 2010, the NRA had regraded Gillibrand to an F rating, citing her votes against NRA-backed bills… In one of her first votes as a senator, Gillibrand voted to reject a measure that would have expanded gun rights in the District of Columbia. While Gillibrand’s spokesman characterized the vote as consistent with her previous view that local governments have the right to determine gun restrictions, the Albany Times Union noted that her position was counter to her vote just five months earlier on an almost identical House bill.”
There’s only one question a woman with this record is qualified to ask, and that’s, “Hey, sailor, are you looking fora good time?”
