Lanny Davis and his pesky Putin connection

The other night on Twitter, I saw this tweet from Jordan Schachtel

Well, that’s all kinds of shady isn’t it?

Schachtel followed up on this tweet with a column over at Conservative Review.

Does Lanny Davis have a collusion problem?

Lanny Davis, the longtime Clinton confidant who is also the attorney for former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, is on the payroll of a pro-Moscow Ukrainian oligarch with direct ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) records reviewed by Conservative Review, Davis is an active registered foreign agent for Ukrainian billionaire Dmytro Firtash. A review of his social media records shows that Davis has never tweeted about his Ukrainian client, seemingly preferring to advocate quietly for Firtash, who faces enormous legal issues in courtrooms across the world.

Firtash’s ties to Putin have been exposed in several investigate reports. Moreover, the Ukrainian’s deeply corrupt business practices have put him on the radar of U.S. authorities, who are currently demanding his extradition to Chicago to face bribery charges.

Ain’t that a kick in the head?

Michael Cohen’s pro bono attorney is making a damn good living working for this guy.

Lanny Davis has been the principle lobbyist for Mr. Firtash since at least June 2014, which, notably, is just a few months after Yanukovych was thrown out of office. During that time period, Davis was earning $60,000 per month from Firtash. That number was expected to be boosted to $80,000 per month, plus expenses (around one million dollars per year), when Davis re-registered as Firtash’s chief lobbyist in 2016. That contract remains active to this day.

This whole RussiaGate investigation is so freaking back-asswards, isn’t it?

Here, right in front of Mueller’s face, is clear collusion between Putin and an American. And that American just so happens to be the attorney for the guy who claims (at least today) to have proof of Trump’s collusion with Putin.

Lanny Davis

Honestly, I feel like I’m living in upside-downy-land.

While Lanny Davis is representing Michael Cohen pro bono, his primary source of income appears to come from a man who is currently a top priority for U.S. authorities. Davis has quite the client on his hands. The longtime Clinton confidant has spent the last four years of his life fighting in court for a man who owes all of his success to a Russian autocrat, who is also deeply connected to a worldwide criminal network.

Do you understand why President Trump is calling this a witch hunt?

If any Trump supporter had the resume of Lanny Davis, the news media would be howling to the heavens over it.

But because it’s Lanny Davis — a Clintonista of the highest order — CNN and MSNBC and all the other fake news outlets invite him on to make wild accusations against the President while he is raking in dough from Putin’s Ukrainian puppet.

I gotta admit, I have never in my life seen this level of audacity – ever.

We’re being played, you guys.

And the fact that they aren’t really hiding that we’re being played is kind of insulting.

Somebody wake up Jeff Sessions! There is collusion out there, Jefferson Beauregard, and it’s on the DEMOCRAT side!

So sorry our President picked him as AG. Can you imagine how different things would be if someone like Mark Levin or Jeanine Pirro were in that job?

Dianny, I caught Chuck Schumer claiming that Kavanaugh wasn’t legitimate because Cohen had named Trump as a conspirator in a campaign finance violation. Did I wake up in a third-world country? I thought American citizens, according to our Constitution, were innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Apparently, to Chuck Schumer, a mere accusation is sufficient to render Trump an illegitimate president.

Across the board, all Senate Democrats are referring to Trump as an “unindicted co-conspirator.” This is no doubt a coordinated talking point. They’ve all been instructed to use that phrase. Of that I am certain.

Media Matters coordinates talking points for Democrats.

        Pelosi herself admitted this.

Another red flag is multimillionaire Cohen getting pro bono representation.
