Leftists get eaten by their own monster

Say, remember when businesses were hounded into bankruptcy when they refused to provide service for people with whom they disagreed?

Ah, yes. Good times.

Have you noticed how Leftists always create a monster that ends up turning on them?

When Christian bakeries and photographers refused to take wedding gigs for gay couples, they had their lives ruined. The Gay Mafia descended on them, dragged them through the proverbial public square and shamed them. Gay couples sued them and left them in ruins.

“You’re not allowed to refuse to do business with anyone!” They declared.

“It’s discrimination!”

Enter Mathew Blanchfield — the CEO of an internet marketing firm. He announced that he will not work with any client who is a Republican or voted for Trump.

Blanchfield composed a letter that he shared with his Twitter followers that said, among other things [hat tip The Washington Times]:

“We ask you, our current clients, to please respond to this letter and confirm where you stand politically. If you are a Republican or support Trump, we will no longer serve you. To our Democrat and Progressive clients, we want to recommit to you that we will continue to work diligently to improve your internet marketing results in this quickly changing world.”

Let me translate this for you:
Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Republican Party?

Mr. Blanchfield believes he has a “moral obligation” to stand up for what he believes in.

Huh. Correct me if I’m wrong. But isn’t that the same argument used by Christian bakers and photographers?

How’d that work out for them?

Sadly for Blanchfield, the Left already set the precedent for what happens to a businessman who decides to not do business with people based on a “moral obligation.”

We didn’t create this monster.

Assholes like Mathew Blanchfield did.

Blanchfield wants to exist in a free market where businesses can pick and choose with whom they do business.

I think that’s a swell idea.

Problem is, it is Leftists like Blanchfield that have opposed businesses doing that very thing.

They are the ones who have defined it as “discrimination.”

Leftists like Blanchard created this monster. Now the monster is devouring him.

There’s a lot of that “for thee, but not for me” going on right now, isn’t there?

You have the CEO of Grubhub who sent a memo to his employees telling them if they voted for Trump to submit their resignations because they had no place in his company.

And then there’s the dink fashion designer who helped create Michelle Obama’s signature “potato sack with bows” look declaring that she will not work with Melania Trump.

Because … tolerance.

And let’s not forget the college administrators who want to expel Pro-Trump students who demonstrate on campus. Meanwhile those same administrators not only permit Anti-Trump students to demonstrate, but also grant them permission to skip classes to nurse their butt-hurt.

Finally, there is the Queen Freak of “for thee, but not for me” Hillary Rodham Clinton herself.

Remember how Mrs. Clinton lectured Donald Trump at the last debate about the “peaceful transfer of power?”

Remember how horrified she was that Trump would not say he’d accept the election results?

Well, Chris, let me respond to that, because that’s horrifying. You know, every time Donald thinks things are not going in his direction, he claims whatever it is, is rigged against him.

And this:

We’ve had free and fair elections. We’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them. And that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage during a general election.

And this:

He is denigrating — he’s talking down our democracy. And I, for one, am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that kind of position.

Yes, she was so appalled that now her team is considering challenging the election results in the battleground states Hillary lost.

Because they’re claiming it was rigged against her.

The very thing that Hillary found “horrifying” is now something her campaign team is considering doing.

Trump’s election exposed the Left — in more ways than one.

The other day, Rush Limbaugh mentioned on his show that a lot of people who don’t live and breathe politics probably weren’t aware of just how blindingly hypocritical and foolish the Left is.

Well, they are now.

Thanks to Trump’s win, it is shoved in their faces on a daily basis.

That’s the problem with being an insufferable, sanctimonious blowhard.

The self-righteous monster you unleash doesn’t just go after your enemies.

Eventually, you will lose control of it.

When that happens, that monster will turn on you.

And it will eat you alive.

I have a neighbor that I despise and avoid whenever possible. One day she trapped me when I was doing yard work and proudly boasted that she saw a car at the grocery store with a bumper sticker that said abortion is murder and she wanted to buy spray paint and spray it all over the car. I asked why and she said because of the opinion. I said ok, regardless of an opinion on any given subject, if you have a different opinion it gives you the right to destroy their property? She actually said yes. I said oh ok, I just want to make sure because I don’t like a lot of your opinions, so according to you I have the right to destroy your property? She said no of course not. I said but you just said that I did.

And this neighbor, which I think says it all about the left. We had a delapited garage type structure that we couldn’t get rid of because the mortgage company said it was an asset. I was thinking, have you seen this thing? One year during a freak ice storm the roof caved in. After celebrating the ins co declared it a complete loss and said we should get rid of it. The people we hired to remove it decided it would be easier to burn it. I came home to see a fully blown structure fire in my yard and called the fire department. The fire department after assuring me that everything was fine, it was raining, no wind, about 38 degrees, and another 10 minutes would be collapsed, went to the neighbor as a courtesy to tell them the same. One of the fireman came back and said, what kind of assholes do you live next to? I asked what happened. They weren’t concerned if we were ok at all, they wanted to sue us. The fire chief told me he would have a full report if I needed it. The neighbor on the other side? In the pouring rain walked to my house to tell me that she would make dinner for us because I shouldn’t have to worry about.

Unfortunately, this Leftist/ Progressive moron will probably get away with this . The federal law doesn’t prohibit discrimination based on political stands or affiliation.

I run a digital marketing agency myself ( http://www.moxieseo.com ) and my colleagues and I have discussed this and all agree that it is likely just a genius marketing ploy by Mr. Blanchfield. For those of you that don’t know, digital marketing is very much like real world marketing only the goal is to get other websites to talk about you. In this case, Mr. Blanchfield has managed to get 1000s of high authority links and mentions pointing back to his website. He may have ruined his reputation as “1st in SEO” but he can re-brand his company, 301 redirect his old site to a new one, and BAM! – all those links out there will pass “link authority” to his new company’s website. Not saying I agree with his comments, but I think they are just a PR stunt… that has worked incredibly well.
