Like the elaboration of a bad liar

bad liar

What a shock.

Yesterday, Judicial Watch announced that they were unable to acquire the Susan Rice unmasking documents from the NSA because they’ve been sent to the Obama Presidential Library.

When I read about this last night, a scene from The Silence of the Lambs popped into my head.

After Hannibal Lecter escapes custody, Clarice Starling and her roommate Ardelia are looking through the Buffalo Bill case file when they find a handwritten note from Lecter.

“Clarice, doesn’t this random scattering of sites seem desperately random? Like the elaboration of a bad liar. Ta, Hannibal Lecter.”

Desperately random. Meaning not random at all.

Clarice begins to review the dump sites again. And this time she focuses on the fact that the first victim was the third body found.

Unlike the other victims, Buffalo Bill weighted her down.

Why? Because he knew her.

And this realization led Clarice to find Buffalo Bill.

Removing Susan Rice’s unmasking paper trail and sending it to the still non-existent Obama Presidential Library to avoid FOIA.

Does this not seem desperately random – like the elaboration of a bad liar?

Judicial Watch received a letter from the NSA which reads in part:

Documents from the Obama administration have been transferred to the Barack Obama Presidential Library.  You may send your request to the Obama Library.  However, you should be aware that under the Presidential Records Act, Presidential records remain closed to the public for five years after an administration has left office.

How convenient.

So in other words, the Obama Administration sought to hide evidence of its illegal activity by weighing it down. But instead of using rocks, they used the Presidential Records Act.

And in so doing, nobody will find the body for five years.

But let’s all just keep looking for the mythical Trump Obstruction of Justice and ignore this overt attempt to bury evidence of an actual crime.

And trust me. The objective here in sending these documents to the Presidential Library was to bury a crime.

Nobody in the Obama Administration said, “Hey, you know what we should save for posterity in our library? Evidence that we violated the Fourth Amendment Rights of American citizens.”

No. They put these documents there for the sole purpose of burying the evidence and avoiding the Freedom of Information law.

Like the elaboration of a bad liar.

It doesn’t surprise me in the least that the Obama Administration would use the Presidential Records Act to obstruct justice and hide their crimes.

After all, that’s exactly how they used “Executive Privilege.”

This wasn’t a coincidence.

They didn’t just happen to include these documents in the transfer.

It is the elaboration of a bad liar.

And compared to this, President Trump telling James Comey he hoped the FBI would go easy on Mike Flynn is a whole lot of nothing.

Because once again, we dilly-dallied, delayed, waited & put on the back burner getting this evil commie witch to testify under oath. Instead, there’s all this nonsense about a fictitious obstruction bull against our President.

She should be in jail. Hillary should be in jail. Isn’t it amazing how the left seems to always get their way and jump at their chances while the navel-dwellers on the right just don’t want to make waves?
