LOL! “Chief Media Correspondent”

It goes without saying that last week’s biggest media-related news story was the ABC News scandal revealed by Project Veritas last week.
The initial story — that ABC news spiked an exposé on Jeffrey Epstein three years ago — was explosive in and of itself. But as the week progressed, the scandal metastasized. ABC News attempted to ferret out the whistleblower who gave Project Veritas the video. Then CBS News collaborated with ABC and fired a former ABC News producer who was now working for them. Only, the young woman CBS News fired was not Project Veritas’ source.
This wasn’t just the biggest media scandal of last week. It was the biggest media scandal of the year.
You would think, would you not, that CNN’s Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter would’ve been all over this story.
I mean, he is the Chief Media Correspondent for CNN. It’s right smack in his wheelhouse.
But on his Sunday program “Reliable Sources,” Jeff Zucker’s little mini-me didn’t even mention it.
Could you imagine a Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent not reporting on the US taking out al-Baghdadi?
Yet here’s CNN’s Chief Media Correspondent completely ignoring the single biggest media scandal of the year.
Some remarked that Stelter’s ignoring this scandal completely destroyed his credibility. But let’s be honest Brian Stelter has no credibility to destroy.
Though it did confirm that when it comes to reporting on the media, CNN’s Chief Media Correspondent is utterly irrelevant.
It isn’t like we don’t know about the Project Veritas report or the subsequent targeting and firing of the wrong damn person by CBS News.
Clearly we don’t need Brian Stelter reporting on this at all.
CNN’s Chief Media Correspondent has no relevance in the American news media.
Do you really think there is a single news personality or outlet that waits with bated breath to see if Brian Stelter takes them on in his daily newsletter?
Do you think anyone in the industry wakes up on Sunday morning and says to himself, “Dear God. I sure hope Brian Stelter doesn’t criticize me on his show today. That would ruin me for sure!”
Nobody cares. Because Brian Stelter is irrelevant.
He’s inconsequential.
Something tells me we normal folks out here in the real world aren’t the only ones who think Zucker’s mini-me is a clown. I’m guessing people in the media industry pretty much do as well.
For crying out loud, the guy did an entire segment last Sunday on President Trump’s Twitter typos.

Do you think the media industry sees him as a mover and shaker?
The only reason Zucker gave Stelter the title Chief Media Correspondent is because “My Mini-Me” sounded too obsequious.
Stelter’s only purpose at CNN is to provide Jeff Zucker a heaping helping of Trump hatred — not to mention going after Daddy Zucker competitor Fox News.
And like the dutiful little sock-puppet that he is, Stelter complies.
But of course he does. He wouldn’t have a show otherwise.
Stelter has no relevance within the industry.
Reliable Sources is nothing more than the plaything Jeff Zucker gave his mini-me to keep him occupied.
Zucker calling Brian the Chief Media Correspondent is like a Dad calling his daughter a Superstar because she sings into her hairbrush.
I’m sure Zucker demands that the rest of CNN’s on-air talent play along by pretending to give Brian’s “insights” relevance.
But outside of CNN? I doubt a single person in the news industry takes this clown seriously.
If Brian had any relevance, his refusing to report on the single biggest media scandal of the year might actually mean we out here in the real world wouldn’t have heard word one about it.
But we all know.
We all know the story.
CNN’s Chief Media Correspondent pretending this story doesn’t exist has zero effect on its dissemination. Zero. Zip. Nada.
At this point, why bother criticizing Stelter? Why bother reporting on his show at all?
Why bother playing along and pretending what he does or does not report matters one bit?
He’s an inconsequential, oleaginous nobody.
And that’s exactly how he should be treated.

I know that Tucker Carlson on Fox has the highest respect for Brain, opps, sorry, Brian.
Stelter is that stubborn skid mark on the underwear of life. You can’t even Shout it out.
“Oleaginous”. Had to look that one up. Very fitting description for a subservient person to his CNN master.
Costanza! Costanza!!! I ! SMELL ! CALZONE!!! (sorry, it’s a force of habit when I see him)
When I first got diagnosed with Lupus, I started laughing. Naturally the doctor was perplexed. So I explained that what popped into my head was George Costanza yelling, “LUPUS?! Is it Lupus?!”
Brian feels holding ones genitals is Okay. Even in public.
