Looks like someone did say “Go back where you came from”
According to a witness to the harrowing, terrifying incident at the Publix in Georgia, someone did, in fact, say “Go back where you came from.”
But it wasn’t Eric Sparkes – the so-called evil, white supremacist Trump-supporting Nazi who had Erica Thomas “fearing for my life.”
Nope. According to this witness the “Go back where you came from” was said (repeatedly) by Erica Thomas herself.
From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
A Publix employee told a Cobb County officer that she witnessed part of the conversation and heard Thomas “continuously tell Eric Sparkes to ‘Go back where you came from!’” but did not hear Sparkes utter those words to Thomas.
Well, ain’t that a kick in the head.
As I mentioned yesterday, Thomas did file a police report against Sparkes for “Simple Assault/Simple Battery.”
But store video doesn’t line up with Thomas’ ever-expanding account.
Both Thomas and Sparkes have called on Publix to release a video of the incident, which has not yet been made public. But the officer who reviewed the tape, which did not include audio, described it in the report.
He wrote that Sparkes “did not appear to be irate” during the confrontation and that he quickly retreated from Thomas as she moved his way “pointing her finger at him.”
When she moved toward Sparkes a second time, a Publix staffer waved for him to leave and Thomas turned to her daughter and paid for her items, he wrote. The dispute lasted about 45 seconds.
The Publix employee, a customer service manager, told police that after Sparkes accosted Thomas he began to leave but “Ms. Thomas kept ‘running her mouth’ as she approached him.” Sparkes, she said, responded by repeatedly calling Thomas “ignorant.”
If you watched the on-air confrontation between Thomas and Sparkes, you will no doubt find that last paragraph completely believable. In their TV interview, it was Thomas who was all up in Sparkes’ grill — pointing her finger at him, waving her arms and talking over him every time he tried to speak.
I have absolutely no problem believing she was the one who escalated this from grocery store spat to a full-on confrontation.
Knowing that it was Erica Thomas who repeatedly said “Go back where you came from” makes this comedy gold.
You can’t help but take some satisfaction at watching a hoaxer get pilloried by her own desperate quest for attention.
Of course her attorney is claiming that Thomas “wants the world to know that she’s standing up for the rights of women who have been victimized.”
Yeah, and I’m blond and leggy.
The only part of that statement I believe is “wants the world to know.” Because gaining fame and celebrity by becoming a viral social media story was exactly what motivated this crank.
And she’s more than willing to defame a private citizen to do it.
But you’d have to be half a nitwit to believe Erica Thomas is “standing up” for “women who have been victimized.
She’s not standing up for anyone except Erica Thomas.
Thomas, like many on the Left, believes the greatest achievement in life is to become a Victim. And being a Victim is the best way to garner instant fame and social media followers.
But the only person “victimized” in this absurd Jerry Springeresque Shit Show was Eric Sparkes.
Cobb County authorities won’t be filing charges against Sparkes. Which means there is at least one person in Cobb County with half a brain.
If anyone should be charged it’s the grandstanding attention whore who filed a false police report.
Erica Thomas’ moment in the spotlight blew up in her face like a trick cigar. If she had any self-respect, she would quietly go back to the obscurity from whence she came.

I can see the campaign commercials for her opponent already. Just take a few choice snippets from the Facebook post and the press conference. “Is this who you want representing you?”
The fact there are enough idiots capable to elect people like Erica Thomas, Omar, Waters, and we almost elected Hillary makes me very skeptical about our future.

I hope the police charge her with making a false report. But I won’t hold my breath. She should be forced to resign too. But again I won’t bother holding my breath. Now imagine if this had been a conservative, oh my… all holy hell would’ve broken out.
