Looks like Wesley was less than truthful

Lying Wesley

I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Parkland’s own Wesley Crusher appears to have been less than truthful about where he was during the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Either that or he has a bad memory.

Because his story has radically altered.

CBS news will be broadcasting a documentary about the “survivors” of the Parkland shooting. And in it, Wesley claims that he was home when he heard about the shooting.

Here’s Wesley’s quote from CBS News:

On the day of the shooting, I got my camera and got on my bike and road [sic] as fast as I could three miles from my house to the school to get as much video and to get as many interviews as I could because I knew that this could not be another mass shooting.

He was home?

Or does he mean that he left school, rode his bike home, then returned to school all before the police got there? Does his bike have a rocket on the back?

And if he was home, clearly he was less the truthful about being a “survivor” of a school shooting. After all, if you’re three miles away when you hear that there’s been a shooting, chances are, by the time you got to school the shooting was over. It only lasted six minutes for crying out loud.

But there’s a problem with this “Junior Reporter Rushing to the Scene” tall tale.

Because it wasn’t the story he told the day of the shooting.

As Weasel Zippers points out, in a Sun Sentinel story from the day of the shooting, Wesley’s account was radically different:

Senior David Hogg was in an AP Environmental Science class at about 2:30 p.m. at Stoneman Douglas High School when he heard a gunshot.

The fire alarm then went off for the second time that day. Students started to run out of the school. Hogg said he saw a “flood of people” running toward him.

He said students had been warned the school would hold a code red drill at some point in the future, and thought maybe that’s what was happening.

Dozens of students, including Hogg, were gathered into a tiny classroom by Ashley Kurth, a culinary instructor at the school. He praised Kurth’s actions and said “she definitely saved lives.”

Hogg, a TV production student, pulled out his video camera while on lockdown because he said he wanted people to tell their story.

“It’s horrifying,” Hogg said. “My sister talked to people yesterday that she’ll never talk to again.”

Now, if he was locked in the culinary instructor’s class, nobody would believe that she would say to him, “Yes, Wesley. You may ride your bike home and get your camera then I will let you back into this locked-down room.”

So which is it, Wesley?

Were you home that day? And were you really able to pedal your bike three miles to the school before the police even arrived there?

Or were you in Environmental Science class when you heard a gunshot then went into a locked-down room until the all-clear?

Unless he’s a Cylon and there’s more than one copy of him, it simply can’t be both.

So clearly Wesley isn’t being entirely truthful about his experience on February 14, 2018.

Now, I’m not floating a conspiracy theory. This isn’t the “he’s a 25-year-old crisis actor from California” nonsense.

These are Wesley Crusher’s own words with links to the stories in question.

I think his shifting narrative is a sign that Wesley Crusher may have been less than truthful.

Look, it was only a matter of time before this scrawny little gremlin’s fifteen minutes of fame would super nova.

This is what happens when a child is shoved into the bright, glaring spotlight; he simply cannot handle it.

As I said the other day, he’s like Icarus flying too close to the sun.

Will any reporter or CNN host challenge Wesley’s shifting narrative?

My guess is no.

Instead, the news media will do their best to gloss over it and pretend that Wesley’s story isn’t falling apart like grandma’s sweater in the spin cycle.

But if his story is already unraveling, it’s only a matter of time before Wesley’s inconsistencies coupled with his vitriolic rhetoric makes him a liability for the anti-gun movement.

And when that happens, the news media won’t challenge him; they’ll simply pretend he never existed.

My mother can tell you where she was at when JFK was assassinated. (Math class her sophomore year of high school.) I can tell you where I was when 9-11 happened. ( I was sitting on the sofa in my parents living room, watched on Fox News.) These events were traumatic for us and we weren’t even there. I can’t believe he would ever forget where he was at. Unless, he’s a liar and maybe he wasn’t even there till after it happened. Playing hooky? His big break into show business and he almost missed his chance? Fishy smelling little twerp.

Who is Wesley Crusher? And what does he have to do with David Hogg?

    • March 26, 2018 at 10:10 pm

I always call him Wesley Crusher — as in “Shut up, Wesley.”

      shut up

  • March 26, 2018 at 10:14 pm

Yo – Dianni: Quit watching Star Trek TNG reruns and get your head in the “journalism” game. “Wesley Crusher?” What are you on???

    • March 26, 2018 at 10:21 pm

I’m not a journalist, genius. What part of “Conservative Commentary and Satire” is giving you trouble?

      • March 26, 2018 at 10:23 pm

Oh, and just in case you weren’t clear: he didn’t really star in the movie “Liar Liar.”

        • March 27, 2018 at 2:27 am

Ah well, shit. No wonder I couldn’t find him on IMDb. ?

  • March 26, 2018 at 10:19 pm

    Call him Che Hogg

  • March 26, 2018 at 10:45 pm

Hogg is a lying POS and that’s all there is to it.
He said nothing about riding TO the school on the day of the shooting until much later.
In his own words to CBS Hogg says nothing about being AT the school during the shooting.
THE most likely explanation is that he is lying.
Since he’s a narcissistic arrogant profane little self-promoting punk it makes perfect sense that he is also a liar.

This guy’s story was going to unravel the instant he hitched his wagon to CNN. The kid is a BS artist, which is why the left loves him so much……. “look how eloquently he can lie! its sooooooo amazzzzing!”

Like all serial liars though, he gets his 15 minutes of fame. Stormy Daniels, same page, next paragraph in the forgotten book of time. Karen Mcdougal, ditto.

Pedal, dear. Peddle means “to sell.” Pedal means “makee the bikee go.”

  • March 27, 2018 at 6:34 am

Proudly deplorable, now with AGEISM added for more good taste.

Thanks to Pollyanna, Wesley and Davey Hogg. Children less than thirty should not be seen or heard.

    • March 27, 2018 at 1:36 pm

I remember growing up the saying “Never trust anyone over 30”

The joke’s on us – we ARE over 30!! 😛

  • March 27, 2018 at 9:07 am

Thirty? You’re being much too generous. BTW Dianny, Hogg does remind me of Wesley Crusher (Will Wheaton) who is himself a left wing radical pig.

    • March 27, 2018 at 11:40 am

Wil Wheaton blocked me on Twitter. The douchebag. All I said was “Tis better to be thought a fool than to take to Twitter and remove all doubt.”

  • March 27, 2018 at 9:32 am

I’m not at all convinced one statement or the other is the truth. More likely the first was a lie then he thought up another that he liked better.
When you get a window on anyone’s behavior, like that guy you witnessed running the red light on your way to work this morning, chances are better than even that it’s more than just the way he drives, he lives his entire life that way.

In other words, I suspect there are many more lies to be uncovered.

  • March 27, 2018 at 9:52 am

As much as I hated the character of Wesley Crusher in STTNG, he was of far better character than Hogg.

Hogg is an opportunist trying to milk his 15 seconds. Leave Star Trek out of describing this human sewage.

    • March 27, 2018 at 10:52 am

You know Wesley Crusher is fictional, right?

  • March 27, 2018 at 10:42 am

Love the comments! I think they are as much fun as the “journalism”!

BTW. I may in fact be old ; bt I note the distinction! and like it!

  • March 27, 2018 at 2:10 pm

He said he went home, got on his bike and returned to school. Why are you spreading lies about this kid?

The crap these kids have to take is ridiculous.

    • March 27, 2018 at 2:41 pm

The crap these kids have been hurling at innocent law-abiding Americans is perverse and slanderous. And if they are free to attack me, all bets are off, cupcake. And if you believe my pointing out the inconsistencies in his story is “spreading lies” about him, It must really piss you off to hear him slander, attack and spread lies about NRA members like me. But something tells me you don’t have a problem with that at all.

      • March 27, 2018 at 5:08 pm

First, David Hogg is being accused of being a crisis actor, then a fake student, now you repeat the canard that he’s changing his story. It’s all explained here, if you really care about truth.

Red State has issued a retraction. Will you?

( Or is Snopes part of the nefarious liberal media?)

        • March 27, 2018 at 5:36 pm

Please cite the specific post here at Patriot Retort where I accused this child of being a “crisis actor.” Actually, let me save you the trouble and cite the post where I dismiss these idiotic conspiracies:

I will not issue a retraction for pointing out a discrepancy in his story. The discrepency is there in the quotes I provided. Why should I retract my believing there are some inconsistancies? I didn’t aver that he was home during the shooting unlike other websites. I simply asked if that is what he was saying. Are you implying that nobody is allowed to ask questions? Well, I just asked you a question, so if that is what you’re implying, I guess you’re super upset with me now. Should I retract that question? Ooops! I just asked you another question.

          • March 27, 2018 at 6:37 pm

            The sentence reads:

First, David Hogg is being accused of being a crisis actor, then a fake student, now you repeat the canard that he’s changing his story.

Notice how “you” follows mentions of crisis actor and fake student.

Then you write: “The discrepency (sic) is there in the quotes I provided.”

But there is no discrepancy in the quotes you provided. Hogg says “on the day of the shooting” which you translate into “when he heard about the shooting.” You just made that up. You also made the part up about him saying he got to the school before the cops did.

Red State had the decency to retract their story and issue an apology: “After reviewing all of this, it appears that the problem was that CBS included a very confusing quote without context. Hogg was on campus during the shooting and returned several hours later to interview people across the street. The original story remains below, in strikethrough. I am sorry for the error and have updated the post accordingly.”

Then you write: “Are you implying that nobody is allowed to ask questions?”

Well, of course not. But a decent human being would do a little research about the episode before making easily-disproved allegations – and then certainly issue an apology and retraction when they’re proven wrong, like Red State did.

And you’re doing a lot more than just asking questions. You’ve got a picture of David Hogg on your blog with a LIAR LIAR banner all over it, after YOU lied about him.

          • March 27, 2018 at 6:58 pm

What’s your thing with Red State? Do you think I work for them? I haven’t visited that site in years. We don’t all know each other, you know.

Hogg is a liar. He lies about the NRA with careless abandon. He lies about the people who disagree with his uninformed views of the Second Amendment. He lies about Marco Rubio and Dana Loesch. This child has made a media career out of lying his scrawny ass off while he accuses everybody who had zero to do with the murders Nikolas Cruz committed of having blood on their hands.

The kid’s about as credible as Brian Williams.

        • March 29, 2018 at 7:54 am

Yes Snopes is and I would like to know who appointed the degenerates at Snopes the arbiters of all things.

Simple fact is Hogg has a credibility issue and once again this has happened due to the rush of political opportunism on the left. If you guys are never going to let a crisis go to waste then I suggest you get your ducks in a row first.

    • March 27, 2018 at 6:44 pm

I have no sympathy for these Nazi / Hitler Youth wannabes or for the SOB’s who are using these kids.

Has it ever occurred to you that the INNOCENT kids who DIED have been forgotten in all the hateful anti 2nd Amendment hoopla?

David “Attention” Hogg and that Gonzales chick are REVELING in the spotlight. Sadly they will be dropped like hot potatoes when the next mass shooting occurs and the Liberal Bigots find other useful idiots to exploit.

  • March 27, 2018 at 4:14 pm

Used to live there and riding 3 miles in under 6 minutes with traffic trying to kill you is impossible and i think his parents had already given him a car if not he was laughed at

  • March 27, 2018 at 7:10 pm

So you make allegations that you can’t even defend? You twist Hogg’s words and make up things about this kid, even post a photo with a LIAR banner after you make up crap about him. And when you’re called out on it, you have no defense.

And the blog is called Patriot Retort? You’re certainly no patriot.

    • March 27, 2018 at 7:19 pm

Well, you told me, didn’t you? And meanwhile I have succeeded in getting somebody who thinks so little of me to spend his afternoon providing hits and traffic to my site. I’d put that in the Win column.

  • March 27, 2018 at 9:08 pm

I would submit that the batting average for telling the truth (meaning Conservative news or blogs versus the batcrap crazy Liberal media) is like comparing Ted Williams to Tim Tebow.

So did Red State deliberately lie or was it a lack of fact checking on their part? Either way there’s no comparison to the feces laced diatribe that comes out of the mouths of the Left.
