Loyalty to King, not Country

The Democrats are super angry!!

Why, they are so angry that they’re actually calling people Traitors!!

You see, 47 Senate Republicans have signed on to a letter written by Freshman Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas informing Iran that any treaty negotiated by the President of the United States must be ratified by the Senate.

Where did those 47 Senate Republicans get that crazy idea?!

Well, it’s in what we call the United States Constitution.

In Article II, Section 2 of the US Constitution, it says:

[The President] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur…

You see, Barack Obama does not have the constitutional authority to unilaterally make an agreement with Iran. He must receive the consent of 2/3 of the Senate.

Senator Tom Cotton simply informed Iran that they must get the Senate’s approval for this treaty to be valid.

And, man oh Manischewitz, are those Democrats angry.

Joe Biden said, “In 36 years in the United States Senate, I cannot recall another instance in which senators wrote directly to advise another country — much less a longtime foreign adversary — that the president does not have the constitutional authority to reach a meaningful understanding with them.”

Of course, we can’t talk about Congressional Black Caucus members flying to Venezuela to meet with Hugo Chavez or to Cuba to meet with the doddering old Castro boys.

Heaven forbid we discuss Nancy Pelosi wanting to meet with President Assad of Syria or Senator Ted Kennedy writing letters to the Soviet Union behind Ronald Reagan’s back.

That’s just all in good fun, right Joe?

I have to say, I’m really loving this Tom Cotton. He’s unafraid. His response to Creepy Joe was spot-on!

“Joe Biden, as Barack Obama’s own secretary of defense has said, has been wrong about nearly every foreign policy and national security decision in the last 40 years. Moreover, if Joe Biden so respects the dignity of the institution of the Senate he should be insisting that the president submit any deal to approval of the Senate, which is exactly what he did on numerous deals during his time in Senate.” [Hat tip The Right Scoop]

Democrats do not define the term “traitor” the way we on Planet Earth do.

When they say Traitor, they don’t mean someone who goes against the United States of America.

They mean someone who goes against Barack Hussein Obama.

For Democrats, it is loyalty to King, not country.

What bothers them about this letter is, despite the fact that the majority of American citizens do not want the United States to make this agreement with Iran, our elected officials should not act according to the will of the People, but to the will of the King.

For Democrats, Country means nothing.

King is country.

Obama is the State.

Violating the Constitution isn’t committing treason. Giving aid and comfort to our enemies isn’t treason.

Defying Obama is treason.

Because Obama is the State.

What’s pathetic to me, is far too many Americans are ignorant of our Constitution and willingly believe in loyalty to king, not country.

Just another way we are being conquered.

Loyalty to King
