Megan Rapinoe: Privileged Victim

Megan Rapinoe: Privileged Victim

US Women’s Soccer star Megan Rapinoe sure gets around doesn’t she? She hobnobs with Hollywood celebrities. She’s a frequent guest on cable news and talk shows.

She’s a regular celebrity gadfly.

And she is oppressed.

Yes, my friends, Megan Rapinoe is oppressed. Dismissed, disrespected, and devalued. Nobody knows the troubles she’s seen.

And as oppressed, disrespected and dismissed woman often do, yesterday Megan Rapinoe was given the opportunity to address the nation on live television from the White House.

“I’ve been devalued. I’ve been disrespected and dismissed because I am a woman,” said privileged victim and celebrity gadfly Megan. “I’ve been told that I don’t deserve any more than less because I am a woman. Despite all the wins, I’m still paid less than men who do the same job that I do.”

Wait. There are men on the US Women’s Soccer team?

Megan Rapinoe should name the man on the US Women’s Soccer team that is paid more than she is. Call him out! This kind of injustice cannot stand!!

Wait. No. There are no men on the US Women’s Soccer team.

Megan Rapinoe is comparing apples to oranges … or clams to ping pongs if you will.

Call me crazy, but I’m not sure having a wealthy, famous celebrity gadfly whine about being a victim is a particularly good look for an administration keeping kids in cages.

Then again, maybe Megan Rapinoe woke up yesterday thinking she was Meghan Markle.

Hey, it could happen. I mean they both have the same first name.

Megan is one of the few in this country to achieve stratospheric fame – much of it largely due to her glomming onto to the Trump hating ResistanceLOL. She is considered one of the best female athletes in the country and has received countless awards and honors.

And still she whines about what a hard-knock life she has.

Megan Rapinoe is the living embodiment of “First World problems.”

As Jesse Kelly put it on Twitter after watching celebrity gadfly Megan kvetch and complain from the White House:

American women living in this era have it better than any women in the history of the world. Every grievance group is a group luxuriating in riches while thinking themselves poor.

We have a gratitude crisis. A patriotism crisis. Bunch of spoiled brats.

If you’re an American, you are blessed beyond measure. If you don’t realize that, it’s because you had bad parents. Or maybe you’ve never seen the rest of the world. Or cracked a history book.

You are the luckiest person in the world to be an American.

If you are a paralegal at a law firm and discover that paralegals at a larger, more lucrative law firm get paid more than you do, I suppose you could go the Megan Rapinoe route and demand that your law firm pay you the same as the larger, more lucrative firm. Or you could apply for a job at the larger, more lucrative firm and see for yourself if you measure up.

If Megan Rapinoe doesn’t like the pay in her current job, she can do what every non-whiny person does: look for a better paying job.

But she won’t do that for two reasons.

First, whining about how dismissed and disrespected she is has become a lucrative side-gig for Megan. Do you think if she just played soccer and lived her privileged life without a complaint she’d be the household name she is today? Do you think she’d be a guest on late night talk shows or on MSNBC if she just kept her nose the grindstone and did her job? Do you think she’d still be invited to Hollywood awards show after-parties? Or the friggin’ White House?!

Not on the likely.

Victimhood is the new top of the totem pole. It’s the status symbol that leaves all other status symbols in the dust. And though she is a whiny crybaby, Megan has enough sense to know that exploiting her privileged victimhood will elevate her far faster and much further than she would ever get just playing soccer.

Men and women getting the same pay scale for the same job has been the law of the land for nearly sixty years. If Megan wants to get paid the same as a player on the US Men’s Soccer team, she can try out for the US Men’s Soccer team.

Which leads me to the second reason she won’t be taking that route:

Women’s soccer is a thing? Who knew?

I wonder if all the other women on the US Team make as much as ME-gan ???? Would they, then, be more oppressed and exploited than ME-gan ??

I can hardly wait until Megan is replaced by a transgender. Ah, the irony.

At my first job, there were men AND women who were paid more than me and who also received better raises. Why? Not necessarily because they were more knowledgeable, smarter, or more hard working than me (or some of the others in the group) but because of the systems they supported (these systems supported the manufacturing department at a large defense company). Since I couldn’t work on those systems and was regulated to special projects I eventually transferred out and then left for more money at a different company. I ended up moving to different companies (one time due to layoff) and ended up earning more money.

Unfortunately for Ms. Rapinoe, I doubt that she could find a job that pays more than what she currently earns (unless she takes over for Don Lemon at CNN).

Is that like women’s basketball? Hey, stupid, it’s all about TICKET SALES AND ADVERTISING DOLLARS. If you want to be paid more get a bigger ticket-buying audience. Or, leave the hideous oppression you see in America and go play for Team China! Or….SHUT UP! You are a tiresome and ignorant jerk.

Those teenage Texan boys are so cruel, treating adult female soccer players as equals.

A little off topic; I replied to a thing on Facebook yesterday about how things are getting worse under Biden. I mentioned if you think it’s bad now, wait till he gets retired and the W- word takes over. In 5 seconds I ended up in FB jail because it was an insult to their “community standards”. That word is used in the Bible, so that must be what offends them. They didn’t mind when the ‘tards jumped on Trump non-stop for years.

She wants to earn a man’s salary in football, then let her try out for an MLS team or any other professional football club in the world. At 5’6″ and 130 pounds, she better show more skills than what was evident against the U-15 boys. And that WNT-FCD U-15 score was no one-off; the Aussie National Women’s Team (ranked 5th in the world at the time) lost to the Aussie Newcastle Jets U-15 Boys team 7-0 in the run-up to the Rio Olympics. If women’s soccer was being honest, U-15 Boys is the highest level at which they play. And how much do the U-15s get paid — nothing? — ‘nuf said.

Most men’s sports do not actually have the “Men’s” limitation, that is, women can play “men’s” sports. Women in men’s team sports are rare (occasionally we see a woman field goal kicker in college football, as depicted by Kathy Ireland in Necessary Roughness). It’s less rare but still uncommon to see a woman participate with men in individual sports. Annika Sörenstam, the most dominant woman golfer, during her prime played once on the PGA Tour in 2003 at the Colonial in Fort Worth — she missed the cut after the first two rounds. In swimming and running, for example, studies have shown that the best women can perform is to about 90% of what men perform. Flo-Jo’s 100-meter dash record of 10.49 seconds in 1988 (still the women’s World Record) nearly equaled the men’s record time of Charlie Paddock. Who? Charlie Paddock — you know — he ran the men’s record time of 10.4 on April 23, 1921; you know, when Warren G. Harding was President. Of course since 1921, the men’s record has gotten lower and lower and now sits at 9.58 (Usain Boldt). Sarah Sjöström’s 100-meter Butterfly record of 55.48 set at the Rio Olympics compares to Mark Spitz’s then record in 1968.

I know the difference between the men’s and women’s games and I know what I’m getting when I choose to watch women’s sports (particularly volleyball, golf, swimming, biathlon, skating) and it’s enjoyable. For example, I enjoy much more watching the 5’4″ Norwegian woman biathlete Tiril Eckhoff (the world’s best this year) than her male teammate Tarjei Bø (one of the best ever Norwegian biathletes). But the reality is that women athletes fall short of the physical performance of their male counterparts. In 2013, when asked if she would be willing to play England’s tennis star Andy Murray, powerhouse Serena Williams recognized “la différence” when she answered, “I doubt I’d win a point, but that would be fun. There would have to be conditions: I get to use the doubles alleys and he gets no serves.”

Just saying. This vicious creature is a creature of Klaus Schwabb, having taken special courses offered by him and his ilk. This group of elite influencers also included Zuckerberg and Tulsi. There are others but I forget now; however this explained her sudden infamy for her destructive influence on girls’ soccer and young women with her foul degenerate attitudes.

But yes, a product of Schwabb’s teachings.

They should have a pay-per-view event that would be the U.S. women’s soccer team (starring Megan Rapinoe) versus the NCAA men’s soccer champions (college amateurs). I’d pay to see it. Somehow, I doubt Megan would be willing to play in such an event.

Is she/he/it getting a job in the Joey Fingers administration?

  • March 28, 2021 at 10:11 pm

Wait. What? I just found out that some other white people make more money than I do. People like Bill Gates, Mark Suckerberg, Hunter Biden, Anthony Fauci…and many more.

Who do I see about that? How do I right this and find justice?
