MSNBC and the glass half full

I’m a glass half full kinda gal.

And though MSNBC is probably feeling pretty stupid today, I think they should really look for that elusive silver lining.

After all, now that Rachel Maddow has totally reset the bar on stupid, I’m guessing some MSNBC hosts are feeling a whole lot better about themselves right about now.

Heaven knows Mika is probably breathing a sigh of relief.

And, really?

After last night, will anyone even remember Al “Resist we much” Sharpton’s greatest gaffes?

Okay, yes. We will remember Al Sharpton’s greatest gaffes. But mostly because he just can’t stop making them.

And then there’s Melissa Harris-Perry.

That chick got fired from MSNBC last year.

Watching Rachel Maddow beclown herself has probably left her feeling a bit mystified.

She gets fired and Maddow is their star?!

That must sting.

But, from a glass half full perspective. Maddow’s moronic “scoop” does mean those tampon earrings are no longer the most humiliating moment in MSNBC history.

So, look at the bright side, guys. Thanks to Rachel Maddow, you’re all going to have to work extra hard to be the biggest joke in cable news.
