My favorite DIANNY Images of 2019

Last year I started a new year-end tradition of putting together my personal favorite DIANNY Images from the year.

It’s probably going to sound conceited to say that sometimes as I’m putting together these DIANNY images I find myself laughing my ass off as I’m making them.  And before you think me conceited, I’ll admit that sometimes my images can fall flat and don’t turn out nearly as clever as I initially thought they’d be.

But one thing’s for sure.  I never suffer from a shortage of subjects.  That’s especially true now between the 2020 Democrat candidates, the impeachment-crazy House, and the ever-present idiots of the Media Resistance^LOL.

Needless to say, there were a crap-ton of 2019 DIANNY Images to choose from.  But I tried to narrow it down to some of my personal faves.

So, here are some of my favorite DIANNY Images from 2019.

First up, here are a few from the 2020 Democrat candidates.  These guys gave me so much material I actually had a to create a new gallery in the Dianny Image Vault to accommodate them all.

How could you not find tons of material from these guys?  Two words: Eric Swalwell.  I mean, come on!  The guy’s a walking punchline.

Given this Christmas tweet from the insufferable Pastor Pete Buttigieg….

Then there’s Joe Biden.  Boy is he a wealth of materials.

Strangely enough, one of my favorite Biden DIANNY images from 2019 is one of the least complex. But to this day the sight of it still makes me chuckle.

I’m also rather partial to this Biden image.  It incorporates so many things about old Joe in one Photoshop – his creepiness with kids, the eye bleed, and his obsession with wrestling.

Another 2020 contender who supplies of wealth of material is Elizabeth Warren.  And not just the DIANNY images of her as an Indian – although there are oodles of those.

This image of Liz Warren pretty much sums up everything that’s painfully awkward about her campaign.

Though, this one of Liz I created just this past week makes me chuckle, so I’ll include it here too.

Nearly three years ago, I did a Photoshop of Barack Obama’s legacy being written on an Etch-A-Sketch.  And this year I found the perfect way to employ it in an image of President Trump:

While I always have fun coming up with DIANNY images of Adam Schiff, I have to admit, this recent one is currently my favorite:

Speaking of Impeachment … and Adam Schiff.  Here’s a another recent addition to the DIANNY Image Vault that is both funny and a little creepy:

This year I got a lot of mileage out of the “conspiracy board” meme from the TV Show “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”  Hard not to given all the conspiracy theorists who’ve crawled out of the woodwork since Trump was elected.

Like the Queen Freak of Conspiracy Theorists Rachel Maddow.

Or another favorite subject of mine, Ted Lieu.

And no list would be complete without Granny.

But one of my favorite series of DIANNY Images from 2019 has got to be the “AOC Digging Herself Into a Hole” series.

Sometimes I put together images for no other reason than the idea made me laugh out loud.

Like this mash-up of Rachel Maddow and Adam Schiff:

Or this one of Nurse Ratched Warren.

I call these DIANNY Images my “just because” images.  I don’t make them for a specific post.  I just liked the idea.

But wait!  We can’t say goodbye to 2019 without mentioning Greta!

I think my favorite of all the Greta Thunberg DIANNY Images I did this year has to be this one.  It’s all Greta.

Though, if I had to pick a runner up, it would be this reader-suggested idea.

Finally, let’s wrap up this year’s favorite DIANNY Images with a shout-out to Stacey Abrams.  She might be delusional, but boy, is she a great source of material!

There are quite a few more I could choose, to be honest.  I mean, I didn’t even include Brian Stelter and he’s loads of fun to Photoshop.

But I think this is plenty.

On a side note:

Pup and I visited the vet this afternoon.  And her ear is healing so quickly, they didn’t have to drain it this time.  Everything is looking great and I won’t need to take her back in for another visit.  I asked how long I can expect to be acting as “Pee Sentry,” and that news was less encouraging.  So long as she’s on the Prednisone, her lack of bladder control will continue.  So I guess I won’t be getting much sleep over the next few weeks.  And that’s kinda of a drag.

But knowing that my pup is healing so well more than makes up for it.
