Nancy’s Childish Stunt

Nancy’s Childish Stunt

While many were offended by Nancy Pelosi’s childish stunt at the end of President Trump’s amazing State of the Union Address, for me, it was like manna from heaven.

Just one more contrast in a month of contrasts between President Trump’s successes and the petty, ineffectual, incompetent Democrat Party.

So I’m not offended by this childish stunt.  Truth be told, I’m delighted by it.

Delighted that, live on television, Nancy Pelosi showed the American people just how little regard she and her scowling caucus of grumpy, ugly partisans have for us.

And while it might play well among her media handmaids and the Twitter ResistanceLOL, like every other partisan stunt this nonsensical fishwife pulls, this speech-ripping act only serves as yet another reminder that the Democrats Party is irreparably damaged.

I mentioned yesterday that the latest Gallup poll shows that not only is President Trump’s approval the highest ever, but Republican approval is the highest it’s been in fifteen years.

Meanwhile, the Democrat Party’s approval is falling.

And that is thanks, in large part, to Nancy and her caucus barreling ahead with impeachment.

This childish stunt of hers is symbolic.  Because the only thing Nancy is tearing up is the Democrat Party’s chances of maintaining the House majority.

Does anyone actually believe that Nancy’s immature performance last night is going to improve the Democrat Party’s abysmal numbers?

Nancy’s childish stunt played to her partisan fans on social media.  And that is a persistent problem for the Democrat House ResistanceLOL.  They mistakenly believe that Twitter reflects real life.

Which explains why Nancy ran off the impeachment cliff.

And it’s why the foolish Democrats who “walked out” last night immediately took to Twitter to brag about walking out.

Their base is the frothing, angry Left on Twitter — a social media platform used by about seven percent of the American public.

More people watched last night’s State of the Union Address than use Twitter.

And the optics of Nancy’s childish stunt coupled with the Democrats’ refusal to acknowledge or applaud the great economic news that benefits all Americans were not good for Nancy or her House majority.

When you add to that how adept the Trump campaign is at utilizing these kinds of disrespectful, childish antics, I fully expect Nancy’s momentary dopamine rush will find its way into a campaign ad against the Democrat-controlled House.

In other words, as far as optics go, Republicans are going to get more mileage out of Nancy’s childish stunt than Nancy will.

Meanwhile, it is Wednesday and we still don’t know the final vote tallies from Monday’s Iowa Democrat Caucus.

So enjoy the fawning praise from your social media fans, Nancy.

I hope it soothes you when you once again become the minority party.

I hope Trump trolls her after the impeachment vote by ripping up the articles on Tv. lol. Or a more classy move would be to send her a new copy of the speech since she seemed to “misplace” the original. LOL

He should have given her a pen too, HA!

It is heart warming to watch the depth of their insanity because the more unhinged the left becomes the better it is for the USA.

The President has us headed in the right direction, the tears of the left prove it every day.

Intelligence and Wisdom are not synonymous. Trump has more than just a tad bit more wisdom than Pelosi!

    @realDonaldTrump

“In all fairness, Nancy Pelosi deserves to be chosen Speaker of the House by the Democrats. If they give her a hard time, perhaps we will add some Republican votes. She has earned this great honor!”

Personally, I think President Trump’s refusing to shake hands in the beginning was childish as well but the muttering and shuffling of papers throughout the speech then tearing the speech up at the end was way over the top.

I didn’t even notice her hand was extended so I totally missed it. Frankly, I think Trump didn’t notice her hand either. That’s what happens when you wait until the guy is turning away from you to offer your hand. Almost makes me wonder if she waited on purpose.

Would love to have seen the expression on her face if the president had one of those hand buzzers when they shook.

Not at all. Was thinking the exact same thing, although I haven’t seen a hand buzzer in a very long time.

He would know that it was proper and at least attempt to shake her hand. If she doesn’t her vitriol would be even more pronounced…much like how she introduced the President, eliminating “great honor”. President Trump would know she would try other stupid stunts like she did. I would like to have seen him take the high ground, extend his hand and let her make a complete fool of herself. Not his style though. I just hate seeing the petty, childish behavior of our elected officials not matter what side of the aisle they’re on.

Symbolism is important, Dianny. It can signify a great deal without a lot of words.

For example, I wonder if Pelosi can interpret how many middle fingers I’m holding up?

Not sure he snubbed her on the hand shake, he didn’t shake pence’s hand either.

So, YOU would shake hands with someone who has stabbed you in the back at every turn over the last three years? If so, you are a really, really sick individual.

A guy I follow on Twitter said, “You impeach the guy; call him a racist and white nationalist; try to destroy his family, his friends and employees; say he’s an agent of a foreign enemy power—and you think he should shake your hand?”

I have to admit, he has a point.

“Combined with Trump’s strong record, the chaos in the Dems’ Iowa caucus, the lackluster field of presidential candidates and the failed impeachment, the president is off to a roaring start for the campaign. We can add Pelosi’s televised tantrum to the growing list of his achievements.”

Are we witnessing the Democrats version of the Gadarene stampede?

Isn’t ripping up the written copy of the speech, signed by the President and hand-delivered to the Speaker of the House, constitute a crime of destroying official public records? Nadler’s committee wants to investigate crimes — here’s one everybody in the USA saw, and unlike the articles of impeachment on Trump, this one actually is subject to US Code on Federal Records. I think we could easily see bipartisan support to impeach Pelosi! Of course, she probably has her staffers scotch-taping it back together; so maybe I’ve gotten a bit over my skis on this one.

If I didn’t know better, after the Democrat stunts this week (and they are numerous) I’d be thinking they are purposely trying to destroy their own party.
And after last night’s stunt, angry Democrat voters began calling into CSPAN expressing their disgust and vowing to never vote Democrat again.

Dianny, did you see that Mitt Romney is vying for the “John McCain Profiles in Courage Award” and plans to vote in favor of finding Trump guilty of Abuse of Power?
