There was no part of that that wasn’t fun

I watched the White House livestream of Donald Trump’s press conference yesterday with a perpetual smile on my face. I haven’t had that much fun since election night.

When it was over, the first thing that popped into my head was something Cordelia Chase said after launching an especially stinging takedown of Xander Harris in an episode of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

“There was no part of that that wasn’t fun.”

But because the Enslaved Press is completely tone deaf, they expected regular folks like me to be as outraged and indignant over Trump’s stinging takedown of them as they were.

Yeah. We weren’t outraged and indignant.

In fact, there was no part of that that wasn’t fun.

See, that’s the problem with pretending to be the victim when you’re actually the aggressor. Nobody rallies to your side to commiserate with you when someone gives you the smackdown you so richly deserve.

While Jake Tapper, Wolf Blitzer, Chuck Todd and Shepard Smith were harrumphing and “Well, I never”-ing, we Americans were laughing our asses off.

Who doesn’t take pleasure at watching bullies get a beat-down?

There is something completely satisfying about seeing belligerent blowhards getting served a heaping helping of crow.

I mentioned a while back that the Enslaved Press is in love with the sound of their own voices. As a result, they’re too busy listening to each other to notice or care what folks outside of the Democrat/Media Complex are thinking.

And for years now, what we’ve been thinking is, “Wouldn’t it be great to have someone stand up and fight back against these partisan hacks?”

Instead, we got sycophantic butt-kissers like John McCain who bent over backwards to gain the approval of the Enslaved Press.

We’ve been longing for someone to put these weasels in their place.

And we got him.

We voted for him.

Watching Donald Trump call out the Enslaved Press was delicious.

And there was no part of that that wasn’t fun.

If these so-called “journalists” actually paid attention to the mood in the country, they would have realized that Donald Trump taking them to the woodshed was going to be the feel-good moment of the century.

But then again, if they were really paying attention to the mood in the country, they never would have doubled-down on their scheme to destroy Donald Trump.

Their old ways of destroying Republicans will not work on Trump for one reason.

He isn’t afraid of them.

President Trump, unlike so many flaccid Republicans, is unafraid to call them out for their lies, their viciousness and their hatred.

Their power is derived from their ability to control the narrative.

But President Trump is the one controlling the narrative.

Just look at what happened when the press conference ended.

These sniveling bastards spent the entire afternoon and evening scrambling to defend themselves. They’re still at it this morning!

That’s what happens when so-called journalists insist on making themselves the story. When they get attacked, they can’t help but make a public display of their hurt feelings.

Like Ronald Reagan, President Trump is a master at going around the media and appealing directly to the people.

And this press conference was a prime example of that.

Of course we can all expect the Enslaved Press to lash out at Mr. Trump in childish and vindictive ways over this public shaming.

But they do so at their own peril.

They’ve already done more damage to their reputations and credibility than anyone thought possible. And if they double-down on that, the blowback on them will be cataclysmic.

Which, let’s be honest, only adds to the fun!

That was the best thing ever on television. I can’t wait for the next one.

You know what an evil Fascist Trump is , because everyone is afraid to criticize him openly……wait…. that’s not right.
Well, it’s probably because he had his Justice Department wire tap that reporter’s parent’s…wait…that was Obama.?
Must be him changing a reporter with espionage….no… that was Obama…
Perhaps it could be that he seized the AP’s phone records… nope again….Obama…
    Who’s the Fascist, again?

If the networks could put on something that entertaining I might go back to watching tv again.
It won’t happen of course, but I might, if it did.

It was healthy for me. I had it on while working out on the elliptical. I was enjoying that beat down so much I stayed on the machine past my normal workout time.
