Obama’s Surveillance of Trump is just the tip of the iceberg

I’m still adjusting to this new immunosuppressant the doctor put me on. Which means, about three hours after taking the pill, I get hammered with a skull-cleaving headache that makes me long for a migraine.

On the plus side, it seems to be making me shed weight like a Great Pyrenees sheds fur. But mostly because even the sight of food makes me queasy. Thank God for Ensure.

Last night as I was lying on the couch keeping my head as still as humanly possible, I started thinking about this whole surveillance scandal.

According to Fox News, the surveillance of Donald Trump began long before he was the GOP nominee. So clearly, this wasn’t started as a way to hamper his chances against Hillary.

Then I remembered something I had written in my 2014 book Liberals Gone WILD!!! The Not-So-Silent Conquering of America.

Chapter Two in my book is titled “Obama’s America: Where the Enemy is You.”

And in the section called Smile! You’re on Candid Camera!, I mention that now-infamous inadvertent reveal by the always idiotic Maxine Waters.

You know the one. In 2012, Maxine said this:

“Well, you know, I don’t know. And I think some people are missing something here.”

Okay, that part is incoherent, but then she went on:

“The president has put in place an organization that contains the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life. That’s going to be very, very powerful. That database will have information about everything on every individual in ways that it’s never been done before.”

I believe that Obama was utilizing these powers granted to the NSA as a way to monitor and collect incriminating data on his political opponents.

So to me, the question isn’t, “Why was Obama surveilling Donald Trump?”

The real question is “Who wasn’t Obama surveilling?”

Obama targeted his enemies.

Dinesh D’Souza releases a documentary highly critical of Barack Obama just months before the 2012 election. In turn D’Souza has the proverbial book thrown at him for a violation that ordinarily results in a slap on the wrist.

Dr. Ben Carson criticizes Obama’s signature healthcare law during the National Prayer Breakfast while Obama looks on quietly fuming. And shortly thereafter Dr. Carson is audited by the IRS.

Here’s what I think happened.

Donald Trump has been highly critical of Barack Obama for years. He launched a very public campaign to get Obama to release his birth certificate. And since 2011, Mr. Trump has been hinting at running for President.

Of course Obama set his sights on Donald Trump.

And while it may have kicked into hyper-drive after Trump officially declared his candidacy in 2015, I’d bet money that Obama had him under surveillance long before that.

But here’s the thing. Obama really believed that Hillary would win in 2016.

Meaning his nefarious data collection would have remained carefully hidden away by a woman as corrupt and underhanded as he is.

But that didn’t happen.

Trump defeated Hillary and now Obama’s highly political “spying” network is at risk of being exposed.

No wonder Barack jetted off to French Polynesia two weeks ago.

If there is one thing Obama is an expert at, it’s dropping a stink bomb then getting the hell out of Dodge leaving others to deal with the mess.

Now, one final question.

Why are Republicans not rallying behind Devin Nunes and demanding to know the extent of this surveillance?

Well, if you take James Brown Maxine Waters at her word, Obama’s “database that no one has ever seen before in life” probably includes information on his opponents in Congress too.

You think it is outside of the realm of possibility that Republicans in Congress are so fearful about what this Administration knows about them that they refuse to oppose Obama in order to keep it hidden?

I think Barack Hussein Obama’s very, very powerful “database that no one has ever seen before in life,” that “will have information about everything on every individual in ways that it’s never been done before,” isn’t just being wasted on the hoi polloi like you and me.
 
Every Republican in Congress with even a smallest hint of scandal hidden somewhere in a closet is petrified of that information coming out. And I wouldn’t be in the least surprised to discover that someone from the Obama Administration gave them a little, “oh, by the way” heads up that those skeletons carefully hidden in closets may “inadvertently” become public knowledge.

I believe this Obama surveillance scandal is like an onion. And once they start peeling back the layers, there will be no end to it.

Barack Obama, like most of Washington, believed that Hillary Clinton would win last November. And as a result, his Administration believed that this “very, very powerful” database and how it was collected would remain a carefully guarded secret.

Consider again what Evelyn Farkas said in that March 2nd interview on MSNBC:

”If they found out HOW we knew what we knew…”

I think that’s the central point of what Farkas said when she spilled the beans.

“HOW we knew what we knew.”

And I have a feeling that this investigation into Obama’s surveillance of Trump is just the tip of the iceberg.

Don’t doubt me on this.

The Enslaved Press is terrified of what this investigation will reveal.

They’ve been covering for Barack Obama for over eight years.

And I think they know just how explosive this surveillance scandal is.

For eight years, they seemed to have access to a treasure-trove of information. And they may be biased hacks, but they’re not dummies. Trust me. They know the information they were getting from “sources” was ill-gotten.

I also believe that Congressional Democrats are furious that Obama’s underhanded “data collection” has left them holding a sack of crap.

But they’re not innocent in bringing this out.

Because of their single-minded obsession with the “Russia hacked the election” narrative, they brought this on themselves.

Remember, it was Barack Obama himself who, back in December, dismissed the claim that Russia “hacked the election.”

I think the reason he downplayed this trumped-up scandal is because he knew what might be revealed if Democrats stupidly rushed down that rabbit hole.

This scandal is going to be enormous. I feel that in my gut.

And by the time we get to the bottom of it, we’ll realize that Obama surveilling Trump was really just the tip of an enormous iceberg lurking below the surface.
