One in three avoid talking politics at Thanksgiving; the other two-thirds are Leftists

According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, one third of American adults will avoid bringing up politics at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

And though I would never call them “American adults,” I’m guessing the other two-thirds are Leftists.

Especially when you consider that Leftists magazines and websites are once again writing articles on “how to survive the holidays with your racist, backward, Trump-voting Neanderthal family members.”

Not only that, but Leftists are always instructed on how to use family gatherings to parrot Democrat talking points.

For example, a few years ago, Organizing for America released talking points so their faithful drones could go to Thanksgiving armed with “facts” about the “Affordable” Care Act.

And for Thanksgiving 2015, Josh Earnest himself suggested supporters use Thanksgiving dinner as an opportunity to argue for the push to ban guns from anyone on the no-fly list.

But it isn’t just Thanksgiving these guys try to ruin.

In 2015, Obama’s Health and Human Services released a guide on how to talk about Obamacare with your family and friends during your July Fourth cook-out.

So the odds that insufferable Leftists would consider shutting their pie-holes during Thanksgiving dinner is probably pretty slim.

I’m fortunate because nobody in my family is an insufferable, mind-numbed Leftist drone.

Well, not anymore anyway. There used to be an insufferable, mind-numbed Leftist drone in my family.

To this day, I still cringe when I think of that.

If you have Leftie family members, I am so sorry.

And, as a way to help, let me offer you the same advice I gave last year:

Our quick, easy guide to dealing with these tiresome snowflakes would be one-step.
1. Kick them the hell out of the house.
There! Done!
Easy Peazy.
If you have a Hillary supporter sobbing in his or her tofurkey, I am very sorry.
The only additional step I would add to our quick, easy guide is this:
2. Diffuse their outrage with humor. It will make them all manner of upset.
Oh, and make them do the dishes.

Maybe if these far-Left websites and publications would stop stressing out these already thin-skinned babies, Thanksgiving would be an anxiety-free family gathering instead of a political minefield.

Rush surmised that since the Left has been encouraging discussion for years, they discourage it this year because all economic indicators are pointing up and they don’t want their babies confronted with factual, provable good news.

Well, since everyone except my Wife’s aunt voted for Trump, she’s probably the only one not invited. Me and my father in law always piss her off about Trump, she takes it well. Wish other liberals could do the same.
