If this is what “oppression looks like,” then you’re not oppressed

oppression

In what I’m calling Revenge for Hamilton, Vice President and Mrs. Pence left the Colts’ football game yesterday after players from the 49ers pulled their little kneeling stunt.

And Leftists who love the kneeling stunt are breathless with outrage – calling what Pence did a “stunt.”

Stings, don’t it?

One of the San Francisco Kneelers, Eric Reid, actually said that Vice President Pence walking out is “what systemic oppression looks like.”

Hahahaha! Oh, bless your heart!

Honey, if you think the Vice President leaving after the anthem is what systemic oppression looks like, then you’re not oppressed.

In fact, you’re probably the least oppressed person on the planet.

Crack open a dictionary, dear and look up the word Oppression.

Oppression is the “unjust or cruel exercise of authority or power.”

What is unjust or cruel about leaving a football game because a bunch of idiots who don’t know the definition of oppression decided to showboat for the cameras and disrespect our Anthem?

This is the problem when words no longer have meaning.

What you get is an exceedingly wealthy man-child calling anything he doesn’t like oppression.

If this were North Korea and the country’s leader came to a game and you showed this kind of disrespect, you’d disappear – maybe end up in one of his concentration camps. Or maybe you’d end up dead.

That, Eric, honey, is oppression.

By contrast, walking out of a football game because of the disrespect shown to the our flag and our country is called “exercising your First Amendment right.”

But for Eric Reid, that is what “oppression looks like.”

This is like someone with a papercut howling to the heavens that he’s dying.

You’re not oppressed, Eric. So get over yourself.

Reid actually said, “A man with power comes to a game, he tweets a couple things out and leaves the game with an attempt to thwart our efforts.”

And how exactly did this “man with power” thwart your efforts, pinhead?

Vice President Pence leaving the game early did not prevent you from playing. Nor did it deprive you of your liberties.

If he was going to “thwart” your efforts and “oppress” you, he’d have sent the Secret Service down to the field to drag you away and haul you to jail.

That, Eric, honey, would be oppression.

But all Vice President Pence did was leave.

And if Mr. Pence was oppressing you or thwarting your efforts, I think he probably would have done more than just leave.

In fact, you probably never would have known he did it if you hadn’t heard about the tweets.

Vice President Pence was doing what you supposedly support – exercising his right to free expression.

So stop being such a drama queen.

See, this is why Americans aren’t taking these silly protests seriously.

Most of us aren’t so stupid as to believe that well-paid, big-mouths are in any way “oppressed.”

Was what VP Pence did a “stunt?”

Who cares if it was?

The Left made these rules. And the Vice President is simply playing by them.

And staging a stunt at an NFL game is now a “brave” and “courageous” act.

So bully for Vice President Pence for being so brave and courageous.

And shame on Eric Reid for knowing the sum total of nothing about real oppression.

I looked up Eric Reid’s bio and it says he attended Louisiana State University. So, to all you parents with H.S. seniors, based on Eric Reid’s publicly expressed ignorance, I would recommend not sending your child to L.S.U. While it seems clear the athletic program may have honed Eric Reid’s footballing skills in his four years at Baton Rouge, the academic program failed to deliver any kind of meaningful education to this “student-athlete.”

For your file of useless information:
I doubt Eric Reid or any of the black players at L.S.U. or any people in BLM, the Democratic Party, or liberals, in general, know that L.S.U.’s nickname — Tigers — is derived directly from Wheat’s “Louisiana Tigers,” a battalion of troops (mostly Irish and German thugs from the wharves of New Orleans) in the Confederate States Army under the command of Chatham R. Wheat. Geaux, Tigers!

What a fucking retard. If that was oppression, VP Pence wouldn’t be able to leave the stadium and be forced to take a knee.

Eric may have spent 4 years in college; but he clearly is uneducated. Typical for most big money sports players.

I’m all for rounding up the NFL idiots and shipping them to North Korea. If they can’t appreciate America they can get out!
