Paul Ryan thinks we’re stupid

Paul Ryan

Yesterday evening on Twitter, several people tweeted out a video of Paul Ryan riding in a helicopter and up on horseback along our Southern Border.

Ryan’s video is titled “The Wall: Let’s Get It Done.”

Yeah. Set up that football, Lucy. We know you’re going to let us Americans kick it this time.

For seven years they talked tough about repealing Obamacare and sparing Americans the burden of that unsustainable, unaffordable law.

You guys all made heart-felt, impassioned videos about repeal.

And we should believe your corny Wall video why?

There are two possible reasons Ryan is suddenly coming around to our way of thinking about The Wall.

1. He’s genuinely fearful of a primary challenge taking him out.

2. And he’s afraid of losing the Speakership if he isn’t seen pretending to support the President’s agenda.

Call me cynical.

But I don’t trust Paul Ryan or any of the Republicans in Congress.

And no amount of slick videos with splashy graphics and hip music is going to change that.

Regardless of the money spent in production, the bottom line is this. Talk is cheap.

Videos are useless.

And I don’t want to see a border patrol agent setting little Paulie onto a horse.

What I want to see is Mitch and Paulie setting a bill on President Trump’s desk.

And why is Ryan telling us that it’s time to build a wall?

We already know that, Paul. That’s why we elected Donald Trump.

It isn’t we the people who need convincing.

The ones who need convincing are your Republican colleagues in the House and the Senate.

You know, the same colleagues who screwed us over on repealing Obamacare.

This video is turgid propaganda.

And we don’t have time for it.

If you really believe that it’s time to build the wall, then climb down off that horse and get your party’s ass in gear.

IF……..Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell were to somehow manage to get an Obamacare repeal bill passed, and a bill to fully fund the wall , AND a comprehensive tax reform bill on Trump’s desk TOMORROW, afterwards I would write a check to both of their primary CHALLENGERS.
