Phony Victim Barbie

In what can only be described as a slobbering display of virtue-signaling, Mattel has created a new Barbie doll based on Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad.

And naturally people are criticizing Mattel for glorifying the hijab which, after all, is a symbol of oppression against women.

Which is a valid complaint.

But personally, what I find objectionable isn’t the hijab, but the choice of Ibtihaj Muhammad.

If you’re a regular reader, you might remember that back in early February, Ibtihaj Muhammad claimed that – thanks to President Trump’s travel ban – she was “personally held at Customs for two hours.”

Muhammad was so desperate to paint herself a victim of meanie-meanie-jelly-beanie Trump that she flat-out lied.

It turned out that this supposed incident at customs occurred in December 2016.

Or, back when Barack Obama was President of the United States.

But it was all because of Trump’s stupid travel ban!!

The big dummy.

After the news media picked up her claim and bleated on about it as a way to attack President Trump, it was Ibtihaj herself who outed her big, fat lie.

Such a great role model for a new Barbie doll, isn’t she, Mattel?

You must be so proud.

Yup. Nothing says, “break boundaries” quite like pretending to be a victim of Trump’s travel ban when you weren’t.

Good going, Mattel!

Yes, girls, #YouCanBeAnything – including a phony victim!

The only way Mattel could have made this worse is by basing their hijab Barbie doll on Linda Sarsour.

Jeeze. Maybe I shouldn’t give them any ideas.

When it comes to deciding who young girls should emulate, we certainly have lowered the bar, haven’t we?

But then again, the Left has politicized absolutely everything.

It’s why Glamour chose to honor Linda Sarsour and Maxine Waters as women of the year.

Isn’t Glamour a, well, fashion magazine?

For Pete’s sake, did you see what Sarsour wore the Woman of the Year event?

Good grief. She looks like an umbrella. So glamorous!

And then there’s GQ Magazine who selected the insufferable clown Colin Kaeperknees as their “citizen of the year.”

Don’t be fooled; this is all by design — all of it.

It’s nothing but shameless propaganda.

The goal is to make you think there’s something wrong with you if you don’t celebrate these cretinous creeps.

So everybody hops on board and showers them with awards in order to make you think they’re noble and good.

But they’re not.

And we’re not falling it — mostly because we’re not mindless sheep.

Linda Sarsour is an anti-Semitic bigot who is scamming the Left. Maxine Waters is an unhinged crackpot and useless “legislator” who has nothing to show for her decades in office. Colin Kaeperknees is a clown.

And Phony Victim Barbie is a big, fat fibber.

A few months ago – I had the opportunity to work for Mattel. For a number of reasons – I choose not to accept that “opportunity”. Stuff like this is why I have NO REGRETS!!!

Thanks Dianny for keeping it real!

I have Barbies from 1960 on up, Kens from 1963 on up, Allen. Midge, a few Skippers , Scooter etc and I recently ordered a reproduction 1962 Barbie Dream House that comes with a reproduction 1962 Barbie.

However, I think I will pass on this one

OT, one time I was chatting with a lady in line at the FE Warren AFB Commissary and I told her “Well, if I forgot anything I will figure it out when I get home”

She said, ” Or your kids will remind you”

I replied, “Ma’am, the only kids I have are 300 + Barbies, Kens, GI Joes etc. The day THEY start reminding me of things I have a major problem!”
