A president is supposed to make decisions for us?!

A president is supposed to make decisions for us

The Washington Free Beacon has a video clip of Hillary’s post-Wisconsin blow-out defeat interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Their point in featuring the clip was to show the condescending nature of Hillary Clinton’s remarks about young people supporting Bernie Sanders. Sanders won 81% of Wisconsin voters under the age of 30.

Hillary’s claims about her favorability among young people are flat-out delusional. And, yes, the Free Beacon is right; she was intensely condescending. But as I listened to the clip something else Hillary said was even more condescending.

Take a listen:

MIKA: “When you look at the young women and the young people who are … you know …. uh-uh-uh … all going toward Bernie, how do you attract them and why haven’t you been able to so far? Because you have been saying … you have had a message that would resonate with them.”
HILLARY: “Look, I think it’s exciting to be, in effect, protesting. I remember I did that a long time ago when … uh … I was in my 20s, and I totally get … uh … the attraction of this. And in all the research that I have seen about who is supporting Senator Sanders, a lot of the young people like both of us. They really like me, they admire what I’ve done, what I stand for, and they really, really like him. So I’m not as worried as the numbers … um … might show about how he has attracted … uh … so many young people, because I think that it is important to bring them into the process, and I give him a lot of credit for doing that. My argument basically is, look, we are electing a president and a commander-in-chief. We are electing the Democratic Party standard-bearer to go up against whoever the Republicans wind up nominating, and we really need to be sure … uh … that we elect someone who can walk into that Oval Office on January 20th, 2017, and start making decisions about people’s lives and livelihoods and when folks look at that, I feel very confident both in the … uh … nominating process and in the general election.”

Notice what she said the President and Commander-in-Chief needs to be ready to do on January 20, 2017?

“Start making decisions about people’s lives and livelihoods.”

I’m sorry, Hillary. A president is supposed to make decisions for us?! Since when?! I don’t know about you, but I don’t want a president who makes decisions for my life, or my livelihood.

Forget her condescension about young people protesting. The fact that this woman believes the President of the United States should be interfering with our lives and livelihoods to the point where she would “make decisions” about them really takes the cake.

This is what we’re up against, you guys.

Democrats are all the same, aren’t they?

They really do believe that the role of Government is to dictate to us how we live, how we earn our money, how much of our money we can keep, and who gets to “make decisions” on our behalf.

Hillary Clinton can’t even figure out how to use a freaking fax machine, and I’m supposed to have her making decisions for my life?

Oy, vey. What an arrogant, wretched woman she is.

Like Sunny Lohmann says, we need a president who is willing to “Make America Free Again!” That’s not someone who wants to make decisions about the lives and livelihoods of others–it’s the Ronald Reagan approach of getting the government out of your way so you can life your life as you want to.

This despicable, felonious harpy wants to make decisions for me? No thanks.
