Republicans: Do not cave to the smear artists

smear

I don’t believe the accuser in this smear of Brett Kavanaugh. Not even a little bit.

And don’t give me that nonsense about “believe the women.”

Women are not angels – incapable of lying or dishonor.

Women can be just as skilled at deception, dishonesty, slander and vindictiveness as any man.

Just look at Dianne Feinstein — the smear artist herself.

The presumption of innocent until proven guilty does not go out the window just because the accuser is a woman.

This Kavanaugh smear stinks to high heaven.

Before Senator Grassley even began the hearing, Democrats were shrieking that the hearing should be delayed.

And despite their disgusting tactics, their vile attacks and their invited flying monkeys who disrupted the hearing, Grassley would not delay.

So now they reach into the smoke and yank out this unfounded accusation from over thirty years ago.

And demand that the committee vote be delayed.

Now, maybe if they hadn’t spent the entire hearing demanding a delay, this would be a bit more palatable. Or even if Feinstein had brought this up during the hearing itself (since she had this accusation since July).

But now?

Sorry. No sale.

The #MeToo movement is not about giving voice to victims; it is about weaponizing accusations.

It isn’t enough to destroy lives on college campuses with kangaroo courts and the destruction of due process.

No.

The #MeToo movement is taking the campus witch hunts mainstream.

And that’s exactly what it is. A witch hunt — where the accusers can hurl any accusation they want without fear of providing credible evidence while the accused are not permitted a presumption of innocent until proven guilty. Nor are they allowed to face their accusers.

Hardly a surprise. Because proving guilt is not the goal.

The goal is to so completely smear and destroy someone in the court of public opinion.

And Dianne Feinstein definitely used this unsubstantiated, three-decade-old accusation as a weapon.

The Republicans in the Senate should not cave to this smear.

Not just because they would be aiding and abetting the unscrupulous Democrats’ attempt to destroy a decent man.

They should not cave because if the Democrats succeed in this smear, there will never be an end to it.

These rabid, corrupt Democrats will smell blood in the water. And they will continue to destroy lives and smear anyone who is a threat to their lust for power.

The Democrats get away with things like this because Republicans historically have refused to stand up to this kind of opportunistic slander.

And every time they cave, the Democrats are emboldened to do it again and again and again.

Just like you should never apologize to Leftists; you should never bow to the smear artists.

It’s time for Republicans to fight back.

Jesse Kelly said it best last night on Twitter:

It is no surprise that the accuser happens to be a far-Left activist and university professor.

Of course she is.

Do you think the Left will stop at dressing up in red robes or screaming obscenities in the hearing room?

They will stop at nothing.

They’ve said it themselves; they will resist by any means necessary.

Even if it means destroying a good man.

If Republicans don’t fight back with the same vehemence as the Democrats, no nominee of a Republican President nor any Republican candidate will ever be safe from the smear artists.

    1) don’t delay the vote

    2) call her bluff – let this slime sit and try and squirm her way into making people actually see her face and believe her lies.

    3) but don’t delay the vote

This is Anita Hill 2.0. It didn’t work then, and it shouldn’t work now. The Left CANNOT be allowed to win using such dirty tricks. It will only enable and embolden them.

I was a “Republican” from 1980-2011. They no longer represented my views, for a long period before that. Because my values are tested by several millennia, and will never change or “transform” into luciferian dogma. I share most of the same values of my Mayflower and Puritan forebears, (sans some blind racism). The “R”s for the most part, seem to be fiscally “conservative”, yet morally defunct. When will a viable, truly patriotic third party emerge? The tea party isn’t dead, all of us who believed in it are still here, supporting the President, and hoping to find a place where our enemies DO NOT outnumber our friends. Hell with the repubes, imo. Grow some intestinal fortitude, fight like our lives (and country depend on it!), or turn your face to the wall and let freedom be strangled by retarded killers.

The accusation leveled at Judge Brett Kavanaugh is the same accusation prepared for use against the judge when the Democrats thought that Mitt Romney had a chance to win the 2012 presidential race. When he didn’t win, it was shelved. It is not coincidental that the documentation supporting this claim was all produced in 2012 (counseling sessions, (Obama) FBI lie detector test, etc.). The Democrats targeted him from this article by Reuters: reuters.com/article/us-usa-campaign-court-romney-idUSBRE83I18U20120419

Does the name Mark Foley ring a bell? The democrats had an e-mail he sent a 16 year old male page and sat on it until the day AFTER the deadline to remove his name from the ballot. The democrat won that seat.Foley? The day after this came out he disappeared and hasn’t been heard from since. If he were a democrat he’d still be there. They welcome this kind of behavior.

What ticks me off is Feinstein sat on this. She didn’t bring it up in her interview with Kavanaugh and didn’t bring it up during his hearing. At this point, she should have forfeited her right to raise the issue. This is double jeopardy, and it stinks.

Before the hearing Grassley should ban/bar ALL spectators. I said during the hearings that he should have gotten the name of the disrupter and who invited them as soon as it happened. By calling out the scumbags that did this, it should have lasted ONE day!
    Now.
At the beginning of this hearing, Grassley should simply state that he seriously apologizes for the smear campaign from his fellow senators, based solely on their hate for President Trump, and their desire to sink all of his agendas that they can. Reserve the rest of his time and move it on! Get the other TRUE repubs to do the same leaving all the DemoRATS to act like the pure fools they are. When their times are used up, adjourn and set a very fast date for conformation, and CONFIRM this innocent man!!
