Say, remember when it was a manufactured crisis?

remember when it was a manufactured crisis

Seems like only months ago when the Democrats and their Handmaids in the news media were scoffing at the idea that there was a crisis at the Southern border. It was a manufactured crisis, y’all.

President Trump addressed the nation from the Oval Office and like a well-oiled machine, the Democrats and their handmaids condescendingly mocked the President’s urgent request for funding.

He was making it up. He was creating a manufactured crisis where no crisis existed.

They all sang from the same hymnal.

Nancy and Chuck stood awkwardly side-by-side to “respond” to President Trump’s Oval Office address about the crisis at the Southern border — assuring us all that it was a big old nothing burger.

Pay no attention to the President, ladies and gents. Nothing to see on our southern border. Move along!

And everybody got in the act.

There is no crisis at the Southern border,  you deplorable Americans!

It’s phony!  Insanely dangerous! Fake!

It’s a manufactured crisis!!!

Oh, yes.  Trump is just making it all up.

Here’s MSNBC contributor Sam Stein in February:

But then a photographer takes a picture of a dead illegal alien man and a child.  And suddenly those of the manufactured crisis talking point are shrieking about what a horrible crisis it is.

In fact, here is MSNBC contributor Sam Stein yesterday:

You get it?

From “There is no crisis at the border” to “Look at this picture!  So horrifying!!!” in four months and ten days.

I seem to recall during his Oval Office address, President Trump warned about how dangerous and deadly this crossing was.

Here is part of what he said:

This is a humanitarian crisis. A crisis of the heart, and a crisis of the soul. Last month, 20,000 migrant children were illegally brought into the United States, a dramatic increase. These children are used as human pawns by vicious coyotes and ruthless gangs. One in three women are sexually assaulted on the dangerous trek up through Mexico. Women and children are the biggest victims, by far, of our broken system. This is the tragic reality of illegal immigration on our southern border. This is the cycle of human suffering that I am determined to end.

Yet Sam Stein’s response to this address was “There’s no actual crisis at the border.”

For nearly half a year, these assholes have been scoffing and claiming it was all a manufactured crisis.

So you’ll forgive me if I don’t wring my hands and weep now that you guys discovered that illegal border crossings are deadly and dangerous.

And you’ll forgive me if your cries about what a crisis it is fall on deaf ears.

We’re not stupid.  We can see what they’re doing.

Now that they think the crisis at the southern border will benefit them politically, the Democrats and their media handmaids will play it up for all its worth.

And they will shove that picture in our faces on a daily basis while they wring their hands and bemoan it all.

When they thought the border crisis might actually result in funding a wall and securing the border, it was a manufactured crisis.

But now that they think the crisis at the border can be used as a political bludgeon against President Trump, they’re singing from a different hymnal.

They think now they can smear the President for running “concentration camps,” while blaming him for the lives lost.

The very lives the President was trying to protect back in February when he gave his Oval Office address.  You know, back when they were telling us it was a manufactured crisis.

These people are assholes and liars.

They are craven opportunists.

And their only concern is the advancement of their political agenda.

They want to fling open our border, decriminalize illegal crossings, and effectively erase any notion of US national sovereignty.

They happily share that picture of the dead man and child because political props are great.  And dead political props are even better.

You know what’s manufactured?

The weepy reactions to this terrible picture.

You can call me cynical, but I have no doubt that in newsrooms across America, editors were quivering with unbridled excitement over how much mileage they could get out of that picture.

Just like they did over that picture of the crying illegal alien child last year.

Honestly, these people disgust me.  They really do.

We know they’re faking it.

They know they’re faking it.

But like everything else they’ve done for two and a half years, they’ll leap at anything if there’s even a tiny sliver of a chance that it will hurt President Trump.

That’s the only reason they’re landing on that picture like flies on shit.  It’s not out of concern or compassion.  It’s nothing but political opportunism.

So screw them. And screw their manipulative propaganda.

Seriously, I despise these people.  They are awful human beings.

    All about money & power.

If those “poor migrants” showed up at their door “searching for a better life for their families” these skunks would go immediately into lock down mode & call the police (that they openly hate on every other day) & demand action.

Then of course, blame The President.

Sorry, that was insulting to skunks…They. Are. Scum.

    We know they’re faking it.

    They know they’re faking it.
