Sharia Law Parkland-Style

Monday night in what can only be described as my audition to be the next John Cleese, I toppled down the basement stairs — landing face-first into the stone foundation wall.

I’m blaming it on the stairs.

Anyhow, when I got up yesterday morning, in addition to the scrape on my forehead, my left eyebrow had that Frankenstein’s monster overhang going on.

Here’s a picture of me today:

Needless to say, I woke up Tuesday just a wee bit nauseous and dizzy. It took me all morning to get my crap together to sit down and work. Then after one post, the fear of hurling all over my keyboard sent me out to the couch to lie down.

And there I stayed until bedtime.

As a result, I had oodles of time to spend on Twitter which is always fun. Because when you feel like garbage, nothing puts life into perspective like reading the garbage on Twitter.

Plus I actually read through every comment from the last few posts at Patriot Retort.

And just like on Facebook and Twitter, the minute you mock or satirize the Camera Hogg of Parkland, his angry army of defenders activate.

I ended up in a back and forth with one such defender (HERE and HERE) that was full of “so-there-ing” and “well, I nevering” and ended with a “you’re certainly no patriot” harrumph as he stomped away feeling victorious.

Later in the evening, I said to a friend that there’s something creepy about the way the people circle the wagons around this gremlin and the other Parkland kids. I haven’t seen that kind of religious devotion to defend someone since Barack Obama.

If you criticize these anti-gun Parkland kids, you will be treated to so many howling, angry defenders, it’s as if you criticized the Prophet Muhammad.

And make a Photoshop image satirizing them?

Honey, it’s like Charlie Hebdo all over again, except this time the attackers are terrified of those scary, scary guns.

And it isn’t just coming from random internet trolls who scour the blogosphere for mean comments from meanie-meanie-jelly-beanie non-patriots like me.

Silicon Valley is also enforcing a sort of Parkland-Style Sharia Law to protect the little human shields.

YouTube put a warning label on a video by MAGA3D that is, I have to admit, one of the best video satires ever made. You can’t embed it, share it, comment on it, give it a thumbs up – nothing.

But here it is:

Boy, that’s good.

Maybe instead of a Draw Muhammad contest, we should have a Draw the Parkland Teens contest.

Naturally those in the media are also in high dudgeon over the criticism and mockery directed at the little monsters they created.

I don’t know, Ana. When did we become a country where adults will exploit traumatized kids to advance an anti-American agenda? Then, let those kids slander and attack anybody they want while they spread lies, misinformation and civic ignorance like the plague?

When did we become that kind of a country, Ana?

Poor Ana is such a devotee of the Parkland kids, she quickly added a mea culpa to her tweet.

”Hope u see my tweet.”

Yeah, that’s not creepy at all.

Since when did we become a country where a chubby adult woman is desperate to get the attention of a scrawny teenage boy?

I mean outside of public school where pervy teachers do more than try and get their attention.

[Ugh. Now I have a really gross visual image of Ana Navarro that I will never get out of my head. I’d bang my head on the desk till it goes away, but I already have a concussion.]

But let me tell you why they’re treating any negative attention of these kids like a violation of blasphemy laws.

It’s simple really.

Things are not going according to plan.

That’s it in a nutshell.

You see, the decision to shove these children into the spotlight was a craven and cynical one from the start.

The Left truly did believe that we would be too afraid to criticize them. For years they’ve used this tactic to great success.

In the meantime they were free to smear and attack Sarah Palin’s kids or Barron Trump — whoever while we remained the Gentlemen Losers.

So they march these Parkland kids into the glaring spotlight confident that we will stick to the old rules.

And we’re not.

Instead, we’re playing by their set of rules.

As I said to my own Parkland Defender yesterday, “And if they are free to attack me, all bets are off, cupcake.”

And this wasn’t supposed to happen at all.

The way the Left envisioned it, by now, we were all supposed to be dutifully cowed into silence — voicing our own respectful awe over the way these Parkland kids are “changing the world.”

And we’re not playing by the old rules. So it ain’t happening.

We’re taking a page out of their rulebook.

Surely they recognize it.

Alinsky said “Make the enemy live up to their own set of rules.”

He also said, “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”

The reason these guys are in high dudgeon over our reaction to these Parkland kids is because we’re following their rule book!

And that’s not supposed to happen.

That’s not how any of this is supposed to happen!

So they think they can shame us into going back to the old rules.

And when that doesn’t work, they get really angry.

I’ve said before that with the rise of Donald Trump, the old rules simply do not apply.

That’s why the media can’t bring him down. They’re trying, to be sure. But they’re using the old tactics on how to destroy a Republican. And those tactics slide off of Trump like he’s been Scotch-Guarded.

Likewise, they’re trying to use the old set of rules on us – the people Kurt Schlichter refers to as the Normals.

But they just aren’t working anymore. Because we’ve been Scotch-Guarded too.

By the time we arrived at last Saturday’s march, the Left really believed that the majority of the country would be mobilized behind them.

And that didn’t happen.

Instead of half a million or the nonsensical eight hundred thousand marchers, they couldn’t even get a quarter million to show up in DC. And instead of several hundred thousand teens “leading the way for change,” less than ten percent of the marchers were teenagers.

The grand manipulation of public opinion that they so hoped would happen sputtered out like a wet fart.

And to add insult to injury, their vaunted Parkland Teens are being mocked, criticized and laughed at.

You’d be hopping mad too.

So they’re circling the wagons. They’re treating these children as untouchable deities for whom any mockery or criticism is nothing short of blasphemy.

And instead of the children being their human shields, these folks are now having to play human shields to the children.

It’s just a great big, miserable failure.

But that’s what happens when media oversaturation gets mistaken for grassroots momentum.

And that’s what happens when your opponents refuse to play by the old rules.

The Left went all-in for these kids.

And now it’s backfired on them in a spectacular way.

The only card they have left to play is to declare that these children are untouchable.

Sorry. No sale.

Dianny I have shared this as far as possible, including Downtrend and Fleeting Freedom and via email, with the note to watch it before You Tube pulls it – as it will.

Ah, the old fence-sitter Ana Navarro, with her wet finger in the air to test which way the wind blows before using that feckless noodle of hers to spew more bilge—the word “appalled” constantly overused.
    Can’t stand that woman.

Dianny, I do hope you’re feeling better and recovering well.
I don’t believe Lon Chaney did it that way. ?

Damn! I thought that guy was my asshole-liberal-cousin, they sound exactly the same. Can’t criticize anything about the Parkland kids.
And of course I do anyway.
