So much for boosting vaccination rates
Apparently the Biden Administration has thrown in the towel on boosting vaccination rates. Today the White House confirmed that the CDC would be releasing new guidance on indoor mask requirements for certain vaccinated people.
Now, I’m sure the White House doesn’t mean to screw over their own attempts to boost vaccination rates. In fact, I’m certain they have no idea that such a backward step will do so.
Overall, their push to get Americans vaccinated has been plagued with mixed messaging and contradictory statements — not to mention completely insane ideas. So this is probably more a case of par for the course than it is a deliberate decision to give up on getting Americans vaccinated.
For those who remain reticent about getting the vaccine, the CDC’s decision, however limited it might be, is just one more confirmation that getting vaccinated doesn’t make a damn bit of difference.
Back in May when the CDC announced that vaccinated people would no longer have to wear a mask, for a brief time there, the Biden Administration promoted that news in hopes of boosting vaccination rates.
They openly played it up as an enticement to get the unvaccinated to get the shots. Vice President Instagram Model posted a picture of herself (of course) with the message “Get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do.”
They were really hopeful enticing free citizens into believing they would no longer be ordered behind masks was just the ticket for boosting vaccination rates. And now the CDC just pulled the rug out from under them.
Once again, Americans will ask, “What’s the friggin’ point of getting vaccinated?!”
The White House can’t blame vaccine hesitancy on “misinformation” on Facebook or Fox News. It’s the admimistration’s constant flip-flops and mixed messaging, along with the breathless, panic-porn peddlers in the media, that are driving this bus.
In fact, I’d lay money that the CDC’s reactionary decision to order some vaccinated Americans back behind masks is motivated more by the constant media hysteria over the less deadly delta variant than anything remotely based on “science.”
Honestly, I cannot understand why a majority of people give Biden high marks for his handling of COVID. He’s been inconsistent as hell. And more often than not his definitive statements about the virus aren’t just misleading, they’re flat-out false.
Like last week during the sparsely attended “CNN Town Hall” in Ohio. Biden actually said that if you get the vaccine, you can’t contract COVID. That’s not at all true. There have been breakout infections among those who have been vaccinated – including six of those idiot Texas Democrats who went scampering to DC two weeks ago.
Watch that clip. That dope Don Lemon didn’t even correct him. Instead, he said “Yeah.”
With messaging this bad, is it any wonder they’re having trouble boosting vaccination rates? Honestly, it doesn’t surprise me in the least.
It also doesn’t surprise me that the White House is trying so damn hard to lay the blame on social media and Republicans. They’ve crapped the sheets so badly, and like Democrats always do, they need to find someone else to blame.
Today’s announcement by the CDC on top of everything else is only adding fuel to the fire.

Thank you for posting this. It needs to be spread far and wide. And I dislike calling it a vaccine because it’s not. It’s gene therapy. And I’m not getting it.
Also, as someone who typically got a flu shot every year in the past, no more of that for me either. I have no confidence in what is or isn’t in syringes anymore.
No mRNA injection for me. Why would I trust the stupid, corrupt government? I wasn’t born yesterday. I wouldn’t consult with that beady-eyed little creep FowChee if I had a paper cut! The CDC, NIH, FBI, CIA, IRS, NSC…. just go away. You’re all useless losers. At least the Post Office does something useful!
Can’t help but disagree with you about the Post Office. I have no use for 2.7 metric tons of junk mail every year, and we already have two houses of Congress to waste taxpayer’s money. On a positive note, at least the stamps used to be sort of fun to collect.
Another reason for vaccine hesitancy especially from Doctors and health-care workers is the FDA decision to pull the plug on testing and blinded cross-over design testing. Where everyone got a placebo and a vaccine. Also health-care workers know there were only people in the trials in the aged category with possible co morbidity or immunity weaknesses. It seems they only tested the vaccines on healthy people than stopped. Real trials last for years and study all conditions that the patients may have. This one was tested the day before it was rolled out for emergency use permit; because we all know a 98% survivability rate is an emergency to minds at the political scientists at the CDC etal. who control America.
Sure Biden’s backing off. He has corporations, schools, and businesses to do his dirty work. Yesterday, my youngest confirmed my worst nightmare. She told me that she’s researching which shot would likely be the least dangerous, as she is certain that her employer will soon require the death jab. She has just finished 6 years of college and started her first job and loves it. I have shared all the research and articles with her from the beginning. Her father and I have had long talks about the dangers of the jab and the government pushing it for a disease that is 99% survivable. All our efforts have been in vain. She will be married this fall. All I could do was advise her to make sure that they both have wills and buy long term health insurance, because they may end up with one or both of them dead or paralyzed or cognitively impaired and unable to work. I have begun to prepare my heart for her death. She thinks I’m a worry wart. No, I’ve lived a long life and seen and experienced a lot of tragedy. I know what I know. Stay safe everyone. It’s going to get really ugly this fall.
