The State of the Union is Excellent; the State of the Democrats? Not so much.

SOTU Democrats

I decided not to go on Twitter or any other social media during the State of the Union Address. Instead, I gave the President’s speech my undivided attention.

The same cannot be said for the Democrats in attendance.

If they looked up from their devices at all, it was to give President Trump some very divisive attention.

Now, I don’t know whose brilliant idea it was to have the Democrats behave like angry nine-year-olds forced to sit through church when they’d rather be outside resisting.

But it was a really, really bad idea.

Hell, even Cory Booker cracked out his Angry Eyes.

Well, what do you know? Your face can freeze that way.

But the moment that was truly disgusting was when the President announced that black unemployment is the lowest ever recorded. And the people whose constituents are most impacted by this couldn’t even wipe the contempt off their faces for one second to acknowledge the good news.

You know the old saying, “Resentment is eating rat poison and waiting for the other guy to die?”

Well, this is the Congressional Black Caucus’ twist on that saying: “Resisting is feeding rat poison to your constituents and waiting for Donald Trump to die.”

I’ve been saying for years that the purpose of the Congressional Black Caucus has never been the advancement of black Americans. All those self-satisified jerks care about is their own personal enrichment — even if they have to commit fraud to do it.

Don’t the Democrats have even the slightest inkling that their contemptible behavior last night didn’t read as “anti-Trump?”

And, if the post-State of the Union numbers are any indication, once again, the Democrat Party proved just how out of touch they are with the American people.

I mean when 43% of your own party approved of the President’s State of the Union speech, you are in trouble.

And just how stupid are these people to hiss and boo when President Trump starts talking about the violent and deadly gang MS-13?

Earth to Democrats: we all knew in advance whom President Trump invited to sit in the gallery with the First Lady. And we all knew the parents of two young girls murdered by MS-13 would be there.

How the hell do you think they felt hearing you hiss and boo just as the President is about to share their heartbreaking story?

Are you people even made of human parts?

It wasn’t Donald Trump who came off angry and divisive last night – no matter how much pundits on MSNBC may want to believe it.

In fact, as CBS’ poll points out, eight in ten Americans believed the President was trying to unite the country.

No. The people who came off as angry and divisive were the Democrats.

And they weren’t afraid to show it.

I especially love how tone-deaf this woman’s “This is OUR House!!!” statement is in light of the beautiful thing President Trump said at the close of his address when he referred to the Capitol Building as a living monument to the American People. And then said:

“And this Capitol, this city, this nation belongs to them.”

So who’s looking petty and small, Congresswoman Sewell – Donald Trump? Or you?

Seriously, have you ever seen a more out of touch bunch than the modern Democrat Party?

Trump broke them.

He broke them.

They have become so blinded by their hatred of the President that they have, in turn, let that hatred spill over onto the American people.

And here’s the thing that’s terrifically sad (or wonderfully Schadenfreuderrific depending on who you are).

The Democrats made a grievous strategic error when they decided to become the Anti-Trump Party. And they still don’t realize it.

They really believe that having no agenda except “Resist” is all they need to bring about the “Blue Wave” they’re expecting in November.

But at the end of the day, Americans still want answers, solutions and results.

President Trump is delivering that while the Democrats sit on their asses and frown.

Watching their behavior last night made it clear to me that this supposed “Blue Wave” that they’re counting on in November just sputtered out like a wet fart.

    It seems that only the Republicans watched the speech. But even so , is shocks me that CBS reports nearly the truth!

    This is the “news” station that was the home of the infamous KGB tool Walter Cronkite. When the Russian with the red birthmark on his face, I think Mikey, turned over to former President Ronnie a list of over 10,000 KGB agents and their puppets that had operated in America from ’40 to ’88 Walter was on the list. He had 3 different handlers who wrote his “news broadcasts” – aka propaganda — for him between ’49 and ’77. Today they do not hate America as much as CNN + NBC; but they sure do not think America is a good country.

    Of course the Communist “Republicans”(?) at the W Post say this was the worst SOTU ever! My faith in FAKE NEWS from the Post has been right for 70 years, and is still right as of 1/31/18! The Post has clearly been the #1 America hater for the last 56 years; and still are!

    It’s amazing how lightly colored the Congressional “Black” Caucus is, isn’t it?

    The Dems are working toward solidifying their already solid base, but look at where the independents are going. This Obstructionist/Resistance movement of theirs is going to backfire spectacularly.

    The Democrats were a sad bunch of children at the State of the Union last night, not paying attention, making faces, running out when there was USA cheering, too bad their parents didn’t raise them better.

    President Trump truly Loves this Country and it’s People. Too bad some are so filled with Hate, they can’t see this!
