The Surveillance Plot Thickens

As the Russiagate plot falls apart like a cheap sweater in the spin cycle, the surveillance plot thickens.

Something tells me Congressional Democrats who went all-in for Russiagate are really kicking themselves right now.

As I’ve said before, the decision to chase this rabbit down the hole has exposed a far more insidious scandal that Democrats do not want exposed.

Last night, attorney and activist Mike Cernovich tweeted this out:

And in a column at Medium, Cernovich wrote:

Susan Rice, who served as the National Security Adviser under President Obama, has been identified as the official who requested unmasking of incoming Trump officials, Cernovich Media can exclusively report.
The White House Counsel’s office identified Rice as the person responsible for the unmasking after examining Rice’s document log requests. The reports Rice requested to see are kept under tightly-controlled conditions. Each person must log her name before being granted access to them.
Upon learning of Rice’s actions, H. R. McMaster dispatched his close aide Derek Harvey to Capitol Hill to brief Chairman Nunes.

Now, I don’t know who his source is. And so far, I have seen no corroborating reports elsewhere.

But given Susan Rice’s track record, it isn’t exactly a preposterous thought.

She isn’t the most honest person in the world.

Cernovich also accuses New York Times White House correspondent Maggie Haberman of covering up Rice’s involvement:

This reporter has been informed that Maggie Haberman has had this story about Susan Rice for at least 48 hours, and has chosen to sit on it in an effort to protect the reputation of former President Barack Obama.

Again, I have no idea how Cernovich knows that. But again, my not knowing his source doesn’t make it untrue.

Meanwhile, Fox News Reporter Adam Housley weighed in on Fox & Friends this morning.

The truth is, this story isn’t going away.

And, unlike Russiagate, it is not coming apart at the seams.

Instead, this surveillance plot thickens with each passing day.

I would expect the Enslaved Press to avoid Cernovich’s claims like the plague. And even if his report is corroborated by Adam Housley, or even eventually by Devin Nunes, the Praetorian Guard of the former Obama Administration will be unwilling to cover it.

But stock up on the Orville Redenbacher, my friends. Because this is going to get good.
