That must suck

Say, remember just a couple months ago when the Enslaved Press was snickering into their laptops that Donald Trump was so far behind Hillary in fundraising? Even the #NeverTrump “conservative” sites were having a big old laugh over it. That must suck when you fall for a narrative that turns out to be crap.

Yup. Everybody was hardy-haring over how pathetic Donald’s fundraising numbers were.

What a loser!

Hillary was going to kick his ass because Trump can’t raise any money and she’s flush with cash!!

Whelp, seems Donald Trump hauling in eighty-two million dollars in July has got Team Clinton breaking out into a sweat.

Politico obtained a memo from Robby Mook — the thirteen year old who manages Clinton’s campaign.

They’re not laughing now.

“Donald Trump also had his best fundraising month of the campaign, raising $80 million,” explains Mook in the roughly 750-word missive — titled “Wake Up Call” — after trumpeting Clinton’s own $90 million haul between the campaign and other Democratic committees. “This was far more than anyone expected — and should be a wake-up call to all Hillary supporters. We must redouble our efforts in the coming weeks.”

Oh, dear!

I’m telling you, that must suck when the narrative you’re banking on falls apart like a tattered sweater in the dryer.

Earth to Robby.

[Seriously, what adult goes by the name Robby?]

Earth to Robby: The reason “this was far more than anyone expected” is because the Enslaved Press is always deliberately lowering expectations.

It’s all part of their “Donald Trump is losing” narrative.

You’d think the Campaign Manager for Hillary Clinton would know enough not to believe what he reads in the news.

Sadly, Robby and the #NeverTrump people share that problem. How’s that for “strange bedfellows?”

Team Clinton has reason to be nervous.

As I mentioned last week, while Hillary only receives 20% of her donations from people contributing less than two hundred dollars, a large portion of Trump’s contributions come from small donors — $25-$50.

Even with that, Donald raked in a bundle last month.

More to the point. While Hillary is spending campaign cash the way a Liberal Democrat spends taxpayer money, Donald Trump has yet to spend any money on television advertising.

Rush mentioned last week an interview Bob Costa from the Washington Post gave on Charlie Rose where Costa was asked just how deep and wide the Trump movement is. Costa said [from]:

It’s wider than any party. I mean, it includes some Bernie Sanders supporters. It includes some libertarians. The most important voter in this movement, uh, when I travel around the country, is the previously disengaged voter. They’re almost a nonpartisan voter, but they’ve given up not just on the political process, but they’ve disengaged from civic society. They don’t really follow politics. If that’s a real coherent voting bloc, then Trump — regardless of the polls — will have a shot in November — and regardless of all the mistakes — because that’s a huge bloc. There’s so much of this country that rarely, if ever, votes, and if — for some reason — they come to the polls in droves, that changes everything.

I think this also explains why Trump’s fundraising caught everybody flat-footed.

Just consider that the majority of his contributions come from small-amount donors. These are people like you and I. We can’t pay three thousand dollars to attend a fundraiser hosted by Anna Wintour. But we can go on a website and donate twenty bucks.

These are the people that are driving Trump’s fundraising numbers. Do you know how many people would have to donate twenty-five or fifty bucks to make eighty-two million dollars?

Team Clinton has every reason to panic.

The narrative coming out of the Enslaved Press is not based on the world in which we live.

Which is precisely why the Enslaved Press had to utilize stock images of large-size Hillary rallies in stories about her recent campaign events. The pictures of the paltry crowds just don’t play well inside the Washington/NYC bubble.

Besides, they can’t have Hillary’s rallies constantly humiliated by the comparison with Trump’s yuge crowds.

Must Suck

How stupid would Team Clinton have to be to fall for the false narrative the Enslaved Press is concocting?

Something tells me this won’t be the last time Trump’s campaign catches Team Clinton (and the Enslaved Press) unawares.

“Seriously, what adult goes by the name Robby?” LOL! Maybe he has an aunt Dianny who insisted on calling him that, and he couldn’t escape it? 😉 Hey, maybe this was that “subtle but funny cue” you were talking about? Do I win a Dianny-Tee??? 🙂

No matter how you try to sugar coat it, Trump is struggling at every level. Crooked Hillary must thank her lucky stars every day that the Republicans could do no better than Trump. Clinton is such a weak candidate, but somehow Trump manages to make her look competent. Unless something changes dramatically (and I hope it does), we are looking at a McGovern or a Mondale type of blowout. Trump just keeps providing his detractors the ammo to take him down. Makes you wonder if he isn’t trying to finish second.
