The Break-Up

File this under “Hardly a Surprise.”

Michael Avenatti and Stormy Daniels have split up.

It was a match made in Hollywood really.  Two media whores who found each other and used each other for maximum exposure.

But still, I really thought those two crazy kids could make it work.

Avenatti made the break-up official when he released a statement announcing the end to their union.

And where else would Avenatti announce the break-up but on Twitter.  Naturally.

“On February 19, we informed Stormy Daniels in writing that we were terminating our legal representation of her for various reasons that we cannot disclose publicly due to the attorney-client privilege. This was not a decision we made lightly and it came only after lengthy discussion, thought and deliberation, as well as consultation with other professionals. We wish Stormy all the best.”

Sure, you may not publicly disclose the details, Michael.  But consider the track record of your former client.

How long before Stormy spills the beans on the cause of the break-up? 

Sure, she might first beg Avenatti for money in exchange for her silence.  We already know blackmail isn’t beneath Stormy Daniels.

Which doesn’t come as a galloping shock since nothing is beneath Stormy Daniels.

But a payoff is no guarantee that Stormy will keep her pie hole shut, is it Michael?

And now that she has her new lawyer lined up, Avenatti’s hopes for a clean break-up may be wishful thinking.

I have retained Clark Brewster as my personal lawyer and have asked him and his firm to review all legal matters involving me. Upon completion of Mr. Brewster’s review and further consultation with me, I anticipate Mr. Brewster will serve as my primary counsel on all legal issues

How much you wanna bet that her new attorney’s first course of action will be suing the hapless Avenatti for malpractice?

After all, Stormy retained Media Mike to cash in on Trump. And all she got was this lousy bill for Trump’s legal fees. I’m sure that stings just a skosh.

But then again, it never ends well when two grifters join forces.  And before the dust from this break-up settles, I think things just might get ugly.

Or stormy as the case may be.
