The Democrat Reformation

The Democrat Reformation

There appears to be a bit of a Democrat Reformation going on within the American Catholic Church.

What caused the stir was the US Catholic Bishops deciding to determine once and for all whether Catholics who support abortion will be permitted to partake in the sacraments. The decision to address this issue was prompted by concerns voiced by some US Catholic Bishops that Joe Biden, a presumptive “devout Catholic” is a firm supporter of abortion.

But those within the Democrat Reformation are none too happy about it.

After US Catholic Bishops overwhelmingly approved a “teaching document” that would rebuke politicians, including Joe Biden, for receiving communion despite their support for abortion, sixty House Democrats signed on to a letter to the US Bishops demanding that they do not move forward with this move to “deny the most holy of all sacraments” over “one issue.”

And by “one issue” they mean supporting the unfettered slaughter of the unborn.

Instead of nailing this letter to the door of a church, however, the members of the Democrat Reformation simply mailed it to them.

However, that wasn’t enough for some of them.

In addition to the letter, that outspoken member of the Democrat Reformation, Martin Lieuther nailed his threats to the door of Twitter.

“I dare you!”

Okay, Ted.

Now, don’t be too critical. Martin Lieuther here is a part of the Democrat Reformation rejecting Papal authority and 2,000 years of doctrine and replacing it with the Gospel According to Margaret Sanger and the editorial board from Salon.

But I am curious what that blowhard plans to do if they “dare” to stop him from taking communion. I mean, other than tweet about it, just how committed to the Democrat Reformation is this dope?

Is he planning on introducing legislation stripping the papacy of authority over the church in the US? Maybe go the Henry the VIII route and proclaim Joe Biden Supreme Head of the Church of America?

Democrat Reformation King Joe

Now, the difference between the Protestant Reformation of a half millennia ago and this petulant Democrat Reformation is obvious.

At the time of Martin Luther, there was no other Church save the Roman Catholic Church. Therefore Martin Luther’s only option was to try and “reform” the only church he had to work with.

But, now, in the time of Martin Lieuther, there are oodles of denominations to choose from – and some of them are just as irreligious as Ted Lieu, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the 60 Democrats that signed on to that letter. Hell, join the Unitarian Universalists, or as I call it the “anything goes” denomination.

Problem is, these guys aren’t going to find another church more in line with their beliefs. As Democrats always do, they’re just going to demand that the church that’s been around for two millennia bend to their will and do what they want.

Or else.

Those 60 Dems would be perfectly happy in ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). They just elected their first transgender bishop. No problems with abortion, same sex marriage, all the stuff those Dems want in a “church”. Those of us who are theologically conservative Lutherans (as in Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod) would prefer that ELCA remove the word “Lutheran” from the name of their denomination.

Eternity is a long time to contemplate the pros and cons of murdering infants. Those evil freaks who hide behind euphemisms will come to realize that REALITY BATS LAST. It’s odd how ‘right to choose’ is really just code for infanticide. Stay home and worship Satan. He’s less judgmental. Mendacious frauds don’t belong in any real Church.

What would these democrats do if the Muslim mosque denied them entry for their catholic views?

I can’t remember where I heard this, but it still holds true. “It is not the job of the church to change to meet society’s standards. It’s the job of society to meet the standards of Jesus.”

Well, I’m gonna nitpick the twitter people. Abortion causes death. Divorce, not so much.
Unless you’re OJ Simpson, and I don’t think he’s Catholic anyway. lol.

[Oy, I hit send too early. LOL.]

“Next time I go to Church, I dare you to deny me Communion.”
    As if.
Oh man, but I hope he does, and they do. And I hope they toss his ass out like a bag of wet garbage from the 2nd story window of a San Francisco Painted Lady.
