The French are experiencing voter’s remorse

French experience voters remorse

Things aren’t going very well for French President Emmanuel Macron.

Macron rose to power on the shoulders of a slobbering, cheerleading press and endorsements from globalist progressives like Angela Merkle and former President Barack Obama.

In fact, in a video endorsement, Obama told the French people

”I have admired the campaign that Emmanuel Macron has run. He has stood up for liberal values, he put forward a vision for the important role that France plays in Europe and around the world. And he is committed to a better future for the French people. He appeals to people’s hopes and not their fears.”

But the one thing Macron didn’t do was put the interests of the French ahead of everything else.

That was something a lot of us knew would happen long before Macron was elected. But for some reason, the French didn’t see it.

So they put their lives, their country and their economic future in the hands of an idiot.

It sucks to learn the things the hard way. But better late than never.

In a lot of ways the French are like a guy who, after drinking far too much, takes a woman home with him. Then upon waking up in the morning and seeing her lying beside him, cringes in disgust and mutters, “Sacré bleu. How drunk was I?”

From Voice of Europe:

The main stream media are quick to give praise to the hard-pressed President, however, the French people have clearly had enough, the attempts to push ‘centrism’ or globalist socialism are simply not working and the populists’ message is what is being embraced.

I think the French have learned a couple things here.

First, if he’s a ten at two, he’s a two at ten.

Second, never ever take election advice from Barack Obama.

The French didn’t and can’t learn their lesson, they will elect a clone when the time comes again.

I do admire their current rebellion! Driving up to Macron’s and dumping manure: so awesome! Glad I saw it this morning before facing the usual rigors of the day.

Hey, speaking as a 2 at 10, couldn’t this be construed as ugly shaming? Is that a thing now? If it’s not, can I claim credit for it. Gotta’ get on the virtue signaling, victim gravy train somehow. (Do I need to /sarc?)
