The One Amigo

I find it interesting that a lot of the people questioning Ben Carson running for President don’t seem to question why Jeb Bush is running.

And, frankly, I can’t for the life of me figure out why Jeb Bush is running.

What exactly does Jeb offer the American people?

The guy suffers from some kind of unique Tourette Syndrome where every time he gives a speech he starts burping up stuff about amnesty, illegals, pathway to citizenship and on and on.

Well, what about the American people? What is Jeb planning on doing as President that would provide economic opportunity and a broadening of freedom and liberty for the American people?

And, just a hint, Jeb. Supporting the century-old socialist model of public education dressed up in new Common Core standards doesn’t count. It won’t broaden freedom and liberty, nor will it, by any stretch expand economic opportunity.

So, other than prattling on about Common Core and federalizing education — something his brother made the grievous mistake in supporting — what specifically is the reason Jeb Bush wants to be President?

Much as it may shock Jeb, he isn’t running for President of the Illegal Immigrants.

He is running for President of the United States of America.

And for the life of me, I cannot understand why.

Given how awful things have become since Barack Obama, I don’t really want to risk the future of this nation on someone who seems to be running for no other reason than his name.

George HW Bush wasn’t any great shakes. And, frankly, George W. Bush didn’t seem to have the testicular fortitude to stand on principle. And after 2007, he wouldn’t lift a finger to fight the profligate spending that came out of the Democrat-controlled Congress.

America doesn’t exactly have the best relationship with the Bush Family. God knows the Bush Family doesn’t have more than a passing relationship with conservatism — and that tends to only rear its head during election time, then it disappears.

Jeb has nothing to offer the people of the United States except amnesty for illegals and a clunky, useless educational system.

Dear God. At least Ben Carson has something we on Planet Earth call “substance.”

And let’s be honest here. There is too much at stake to leave the future of the United States in the hands of a dimwit who acts like he’s running for President of Mexico.

If he can buy the Republican nomination we will have two Democrats to chose from for our next President and things will continue along this path of destruction.
