There is no Dying Wish Clause in the Constitution

There is no Dying Wish Clause in the Constitution

Rumor has it that as her last in a long line of unconstitutional rulings, Ruth Bader Ginsburg uttered a dying wish that no Justice be confirmed to replace her until after the Presidential election.

Barack Obama has repeated Ginsburg’s dying wish as gospel because, let’s face it, Obama feels the same way about the Constitution than Ruth did.

The dimwitted Congresswoman from the State of Twitter is aghast that meanie Mitch McConnell is so callously ignoring Ginsburg’s dying wish.

“This is a man,” the simpering Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez whined, “who does not care about a dying woman’s final wish.”

Yeah. I don’t care either, you ignoramus.

There is no Dying Wish Clause in the Constitution.

Article II, Section 2 doesn’t say, “The President selects judges with the advice and consent of the US Senate. Unless a Justice dies during an election year. In that case, the President’s Power to select a replacement is set aside in favor of the dying wish of said Justice.”

Dying Wish Becket Adams-01
Dying Wish Becket Adams-02

Ruth Bader Ginsburg does not get to decide who gets to name her successor or when.

She wasn’t the King of England. There is no Act of Succession by Dying Wish for Supreme Court Justices.

Ginsburg’s dying wish means about as much as air in a jug.

No wonder deeply ignorant women with useless college degrees deified the old woman. Like they, Ginsburg believed her feelz supersede everything else. Everything — including her oath of office and the Constitutional system she was supposed to uphold.

Constitutionally, there is absolutely no impediment to President Trump naming a new Supreme Court Justice and the Senate giving its advice and consent.

And see, that’s the problem right there.

The Senate Democrats, the media, and all the shrieking harpies with RGB T-shirts and action figures don’t have a Constitutional leg to stand on.  So they elevate this woman’s alleged dying wish as if it holds more authority than the Constitution.

Because just like Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the Senate Democrats don’t give two craps about the Constitution.

Not just until AFTER the election, she and the democrats want it done by the NEW president. If Trump doesn’t do it now, then wins the election but the democrats take the senate they will never let him fill the seat. They will say, he’s not the new president. Get it done now. They are the ones who are going to challenge the election, so therefore we absolutely NEED at complete SCOTUS. It needs to be turned around and blamed on them. Even though it is his right, people need to see that he has no choice but to act swiftly.

HERE!! HERE!! I totally and 100% agree with your assessment!!

And to Dianny, what a breath of fresh air you truly are! I was sick of everyone going on about the “wonderful woman”, the “extremely intelligent”, and a “gift to woman kind”, that your words gives me hope that there are still some normal thinking people out there! She was a Zombie for the past 10, nay, 20 years, who spent 15 of those hospitalized and/or near death, ruling from said places; so it’s no wonder liberal freaks of nature think her ‘dying wish’ ranks right up there with the 10 Commandants! Oops, forgot these evil people have no idea what the 10 Commandants are.

RBG was nothing more than a woman who rose to a higher paying, more prestigious position. Kudos for that. My maternal Grandmother lived to be 98. It would take 100+ RBGs to make a woman like my Granny, who was the wind on my sails for at least 50 of those precious 98 years! No ‘prestige’, no pay, except for her ‘old age pension’, as she called it. LOL! I thank God for my Grandmothers position in life ~~~Granny~~~

Is anybody else getting sick and tired of Democrats election Republicans and how they should act and follow the rules and be decent. At the same time Democrats haven’t followed a single goddamn rule that they’ve imposed on anybody else?

Sorry it should say lectured not election

Thanks for clearing that up for me! Thought I had lost my ability to do some simple ‘reading comprehension’! LMAO
Yes, I am sick of anything/everything Democrat. But I am 100 times more sick of the Republicans! Just tuck their tails between their ball-less legs, roll over, play dead, agree with, give in to (……well you get what I mean!)
We are trying to rid the system of Nursing Home Candidates and RINOs but it is awfully hard to do. Why do these people WAIT ’til they are in their late 60’s, early 70’s to jump into politics? I just turned 74 and I can absolutely see the difference in being 74 as opposed to when I was 40/50. Somehow, someway we NEED an amendment for term/age limits on our elected congressional officials!! No one wants to be responsible for ending this governmental ponzi scheme!
Damn…got off course and off topic. Sorry, it’s a Senior ‘thang’. ?? ?

I won’t cast inspersions on RGB. I will say that I give this claim made by her relative less than zero credibility. With the community organizer in chiefs comment, I give it a sub zero rating.

Just two things I thought I’d throw in here.

RBG’s alleged ‘last wish’ – Obama actually called it an “instruction.” egad

President Trump, in the clip where he apparently just found out about RBG’s death, showed just how that street-talking crude New Yorker can exhibit real class.

Yes, just turn the situation around to discover how much empathy the leftist Dems would have for the opposition:

It’s an election year and a SCOTUS vacancy occurs. Leftist Democrat President. Leftist Democrat majority in the Senate. A leftist judge is nominated and confirmed. Posthaste. There would be no consideration of the minority’s feelings or well-being.

It’s now time for those on the right to NOMINATE AND CONFIRM — the presidency and the senate are both held by the right. The voters put this situation in place. Act

The key to the democrats’ power lies not in the legislative system, for they couldn’t impose their agenda that way. They do it through activists masquerading as impartial judges and Ginsberg was the worst.Openly criticizing from the bench, there was never any doubt how she would rule in any case that came before her. They say that any human death diminishes us all. I weep when I think how many innocent babies were slaughtered by her hand. She overturned anti-abortion laws in at least four states and was not shy about sharing her belief that black babies must be exterminated. Leftists are screaming today that she should have retired while Chicago Jesus could have named her replacement. She just couldn’t give up the power trip she was on.Who could have foreseen the consequences Harry Reid brought about when he did away with the filibuster to cram through Obama’s hard left judges? Be careful what you wish for,I guess. The democrats are threatening to pack the court if Trump places another Justice on the bench before the election,as is his right.I don’t see how they could manage that, but since when did they ever give a rat’s patoot about the Constitution? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Notice that RBG’s supposed dying wish describes the new president as being “installed”, not elected or inaugurated. I doubt that she said anything like that, but the sentiment is there from whoever made this up. Democrats in their infinite duplicitous corruption can only hope they can install a president regardless of the results of the election.

One should only say good things about the recently deceased. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is dead…..Good!

Remember this woman who made no apologies for the rampant murder of unborn black children, stated that the age of sexual consent should be 12, and enforced the radical feminism that has rendered millions of women miserable and unable to form a loving committed relationship with men.

To paraphrase an Irvin Cobb quote “ I was surprised to hear of her illness, I hoped it was nothing trivial “
I’m also wondering which federal building will suffer the abasement of being renamed and if they will erect a statue .. Perhaps In her judicial robe overlooking a clinic dumpster and smiling

RBG is a good example of why the government needs age limits.
