Trust me: Rhodes is the Leaker
Saturday, I said that my money’s on Ben Rhodes in this ObamaGate mess.
And the news yesterday that Susan Rice was the one who unmasked the names of Trump people hasn’t changed my mind one bit.
Rice may be the unmasker. But trust me. Ben Rhodes is the leaker.
Rice and Rhodes make a great team.
In 2012 it was Ben Rhodes that concocted the “It was a protest over a video” talking point. And it was Susan Rice who then went on all five Sunday shows and parroted this narrative.
These two work in tandem.
From Adam Housley’s report for Fox News yesterday:
The unmasked names, of people associated with Donald Trump, were then sent to all those at the National Security Council, some at the Defense Department, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and then-CIA Director John Brennan – essentially, the officials at the top, including former Rice deputy Ben Rhodes. [Emphasis mine]
Of course she supplied Ben Rhodes with these names.
After all, Rhodes is the guy that has chummy relationships with pliant members of the Enslaved Press. I mean, for Pete’s sake. His brother runs CBS News.
Rice got the names unmasked. But she then gave those names to someone who leaked them to the press.
The objective for unmasking these names was not for “national security” reasons. And it was not because the unmasked US citizens had violated the law or were in grave danger.
The objective in unmasking these names was to perpetrate the “Russia hacked the election” narrative.
And who better to perpetrate a fictional narrative than Ben Rhodes?
After all, he’s the failed fiction writer who concocted the phony Iran Deal narrative. As well as the “it was a video” narrative.
Leaking unmasked US citizens’ names to the media is blatantly against the law.
So while bean-counters in the Enslaved Press try to balance on that thin line of “Rice didn’t violate the letter of the law, only the spirit of the law,” the flagrant law-breaker is the one who leaked this information to the press.
And, as far as that goes, my money is still on Ben Rhodes being the leaker.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that Susan Rice is not culpable for any of this.
I have absolutely no doubt that Rice requested these names be unmasked for the sole purpose of having Rhodes leak them to the reporters on his speed dial.
Why else give these names to Rhodes?
It’s not like the guy is involved in any investigatory role.
His job title was “Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications.”
Talk about cynical job title.
“Strategic communications” even sounds like what it is: “Official Obama narrative-supplier for the Enslaved Press.”
Seems to me, the only reason to give the Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications a list of unmasked US citizens’ names is for him to … you know … communicate them.
His job was to frame every narrative in a way that is favorable to the Obama Administration.
Hell, he bragged about it in that New York Times profile back in May of 2016.
As I did on Saturday, let me again quote from Alex Griswold’s column in Mediaite about that Times profile of Rhodes:
But a sitting White House official is openly admitting all this in an on-the-record interview with a journalist for America’s most prominent media institution. He does so without a hint of shame or any sense that these admissions might face a backlash. Rhodes’ laying out of his many deceits reads less like a mea culpa and more like a comic book villain’s monologue after he knows the heroes are too late to stop his plan. The arrogance and lack of accountability here is simply breathtaking.
Do you really believe that Rhodes’ “arrogance and lack of accountability” has disappeared?
Come on.
There was interference in our election process last year.
But it wasn’t from the Russians.
Instead, it was from the sitting Administration of our Constitutional Republic.
As Housley reported over the weekend, this surveillance of Donald Trump didn’t begin after he won the November election. It has been going on for more than a year.
The Obama Administration was actively attempting to undermine a Republican candidate for President in order to benefit the Democrat Party and their eventual nominee.
This “Russia hacked the election” narrative is straight out of Ben Rhodes underhanded ”strategic communications” playbook.
So, sure. Susan Rice has a hell of a lot to answer for. Specifically, what “national security” purpose did unmasking these names serve? What justification does she have for unmasking US citizens’ names?
But more importantly, why was Ben Rhodes supplied those unmasked names? And what did he do with that information?
I think we know the answer.
Rhodes used those names to perpetrate his “RussiaGate” narrative by leaking them to a pliant and cooperative Enslaved Press.
And, as far as I’m concerned, there is absolutely no doubt that’s what happened.

Absolutely. Ben Rhoades is behind the leaking. The guy is SNEAK written all over his leftist face.
He looks like he’s been rode.
Well hopefully Rice-a-Rhodesy is quite the treat in a federal penitentiary.
He to epitomizes the Fake American. A sorry sack of septic sheep droppings.
